Abstract

Objective: This case study was conducted to describe the intervention of Asmaul Husna in reducing pain in patients with head injuries. Method: This study uses a case study design with an evidence-based practice implementation approach that focuses on nursing interventions. The study was conducted at the BLUD RSU Banjar City on 25-27 May 2022. The participant in this study was a patient 35 years old, male, who complains of pain in the back of the head. The process of assessing and establishing a diagnosis is focused on the main problem. Objective and subjective data become a reference for periodic evaluation of nursing implementation. And the researchers measured the pain scale using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) measurement design. Result: The patient acknowledged that the pain decreased after the Asmaul Husna intervention was given. Asmaul Husna's intervention should be suspected of being effective in reducing pain in patients with mild head injuries as evidenced by subjective patient recognition, although it has not been supported by a normal pulse rate as an indicator of physical health.   Conclusion: Theoretically, this research does not conflict with previous research so  it can be a reference in future research. Clinically, Asmaul Husna intervention can be an alternative intervention to reduce pain scale in patients with chronic diseases such as head injuries in hospitals and health centers.

Abstract

This community service initiative addresses the entrepreneurial challenges faced by rural families in Godebag Village, Tasikmalaya Regency. Limited business knowledge, poor marketing strategies, and the informal nature of micro-enterprises have hindered economic growth and sustainability. A team from STIE Latifah Mubarokiyah (STIELM) implemented a program using the IPOO (Input–Process–Output–Outcome) framework to enhance local entrepreneurial and marketing capacities. The program involved 35 participants, comprising housewives, youth, and micro-business owners, and focused on business planning, marketing strategies, and participatory learning. As a result, 20 business plans and marketing tools were produced, while 91% of participants expressed high satisfaction. This outreach contributes to building resilient family economies through practical, community-based business education.

Abstract

Health care workers are at high risk of experiencing work-related distress both somatic and cognitive due to high quantitative job demands and work–life conflict. This study aimed to determine the relationship between quantitative job demands and work-life conflict with the level of work-related distress among hospital employees. This study used a cross-sectional study design. A total of 279 respondents were involved in the study through total sampling. Data were collected from April to June 2025 using the standardized questionnaire of the long version of the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ III). Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman rank correlation test with a significance level of 5% (α = 0.05). The analysis result revealed a positive association between quantitative job demands and somatic distress (ρ = 0.35, p < 0.001) as well as cognitive distress (ρ = 0.42, p < 0.001). Work–life conflict also correlated positively with somatic (ρ = 0.44, p < 0.001) and cognitive distress (ρ = 0.41, p < 0.001). These findings indicate that the greater quantitative job demands and work–life conflicts are associated with higher levels of work-related distress among healthcare workers in hospital.
