Manajemen persediaan obat menjadi salah satu pilar penting dalam menjamin keberlangsungan pelayanan kesehatan di tingkat pelayanan dasar/pelayanan tingkat pertama. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara mendalam manajemen logistik di tiga puskesmas di provinsi Sulawesi Barat, yakni Puskesmas Tinambung (Kabupaten Polewali Mandar), Puskesmas Banggae II (Kabupaten Majene), dan Puskesmas Massenga (Kabupaten Polewali Mandar). Melalui pendekatan literatur kualitatif dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya, ditemukan bahwa salah satu faktor penghambat dalam manajemen logistik yaitu sistem manual, ketidaksesuaian antara permintaaan dan pemakaian, serta kurangnya sistem peringatan dini terkait stok kritis. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya penerapan teknologi informasi dan metode prediktif berbasis data seperti algoritma apriori dan analisis reorder poin dalam pengambilan keputusan farmasi. Implementasi strategi yang terstruktur dan berbasis data mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penyediaan obat serta menurunkan risiko kerugian akibat stagnan atau kekosongan obat.Kata kunci: manajemen logistik, persediaan obat, puskesmas, teknologi informasiABSTRACTDrug inventory management is one of the important pillars in ensuring the sustainability of health services at the basic service/first level of service. This study aims to examine in depth the logistics management in three health centers in West Sulawesi province, namely Tinambung Health Center (Polewali Mandar Regency), Banggae II Health Center (Majene Regency), and Massenga Health Center (Polewali Mandar Regency). Through a qualitative literature approach from previous research results, it was found that one of the inhibiting factors in logistics management is the manual system, the mismatch between demand and usage, and the lack of an early warning system related to critical stock. These findings reinforce the importance of implementing information technology and data-based predictive methods such as a priori algorithms and reorder point analysis in pharmaceutical decision making. The implementation of a structured and data-based strategy can increase the efficiency of drug provision and reduce the risk of losses due to stagnant or empty drugs. Keywords: logistics management, drug inventory, health centers, information technology
