Abstract

The main objective of this study is to explore the relationship between management information systems, technological innovation, and accounting education in the context of financial statement preparation practices. The literature search process was conducted using seven keyword combinations: (1) Management Information Systems AND Organisational Productivity, (2) Technological Innovation AND Organisational Performance, (3) Impact of IT Systems on Business Efficiency, (4) Role of Information Technology in Organizational Growth, (5) Digital Transformation AND Business Performance, (6) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) AND Productivity (7) Business Intelligence AND Organisational Efficiency. From this search, 1 article was found in Web of Science journals, 2 articles in Elsevier journals, 3 articles in Springer journals, 1 article in Willey-Blackweell journals, 2 articles in Taylor & Francis journals, 2 articles in SAGE Publications journals, 4 articles in Emerald journals, 2 articles in ProQuest journals, 1 article in Ebsco journals and 2 articles in MDPI journals. The literature review results indicate Management Information Systems (MIS) contribute significantly to organisational productivity by enhancing data management, improving decision-making processes, and increasing operational efficiency. Technological innovation drives productivity growth by automating business processes, improving workflow efficiency, and fostering adaptability in rapidly changing markets.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of costs, barriers to entry and consumer preferences on the Productivity of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The unit of analysis is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Padang City. This study uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. A total of 100 questionnaires from MSMEs were returned as the final sample. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis conducted with SPSS software. The results showed that costs and consumer preference had a significant positive effect on productivity. While barriers to entry had a significant negative effect on productivity. MSMEs need to manage production costs more efficiently. Furthermore, MSMEs are advised to identify inefficient costs in operations and find ways to reduce them without sacrificing product quality.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically examine the direct and indirect effects of Work-Family Conflict and Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention, with Job Satisfaction as mediating variables. The study employs a quantitative approach. The population comprises permanent employees of PT Semen Padang., with a sample size of 319 employees. The sampling method uses proportional sampling. The analysis method used is Partial Least Squares (PLS) analysis with the SmartPLS application. The results indicate that organisational commitment significantly influences job satisfaction. Additionally, work-family conflict and job satisfaction have a significant partial effect on turnover intention. Job satisfaction mediates the relationship between organisational commitment and turnover intention. This research provides suggestions to PT Semen Padang to increase employee commitment by providing better support and recognition to increase job satisfaction. Then the company must implement policies that support balance between work and family to reduce conflict.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh keberadaan serikat pekerja, motivasi karyawan, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Semen Padang dengan dukungan sosial sebagai variabel intervening. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 responden, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbantuan SmartPLS.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa serikat pekerja, motivasi karyawan, dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap dukungan sosial. Selain itu, serikat pekerja dan motivasi karyawan berpengaruh langsung secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja tidak memberikan pengaruh langsung yang signifikan. Namun demikian, dukungan sosial terbukti berperan penting sebagai variabel intervening yang memperkuat pengaruh serikat pekerja, motivasi karyawan, maupun lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa keberadaan serikat pekerja dan motivasi karyawan merupakan faktor utama dalam mendorong kinerja, dan peran dukungan sosial menjadi penghubung yang krusial antara faktor-faktor organisasi dengan kinerja karyawan.
