Abstract

Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water, with or without additives (admixture). The naphthalene superplasticizer used comes from the distillation of coal tar and a little from the rest of petroleum, but there is also camphor naphthalene. Where camphor grains contain 250-500 mg of naphthalene. Naphthalene is mostly produced from coal tar distillation, and a little from the rest of the fractionation of petroleum, by the molecular formula (C10H8) and in the form of two unified benzene rings. This compound is volatile, volatile even in the form of solids. The vapor produced is flammable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene as concrete admixture, and determine the effect of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene on concrete toughness, density, water absorption, of concrete compressive strength. It is expected that the use of naphthalene can reduce the use of cement, and reduce water use. But it does not reduce the strength of the concrete so as to reduce costs in making concrete. The variations in the use of camphor naphthalene and coal tar naphthalene are 20%, 30%, 40%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of palm shell boiler ash substituted in cement and glass powder substituted on fine aggregate in concrete mixes on compressive strength and slump values and to determine the usefulness of the concrete. This research used an experimental method with 9 variations of substitution materials, a total of 60 samples of cube-shaped test specimens measuring 15cmx15cmx15cm. The variation of Oil palm shell boiler substitution used is 0%, 6%, 8%, and 10%, and for glass powder substitution variation is 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. From the results of the compressive strength test conducted on the 7th day, the substitution of 8% Oil palm shell boiler Ash and 10% glass powder or variation E received the highest compressive strength result of 19,593 MPaWhile on the 28th day, substitution of 6% oil palm shell boiler ash and 5% glass powder or variation A received the highest compressive strength yield of 22,630 MPa.

Abstract

Bagasse ash is a waste from the sugar factory industry which has silica content and grain size is relatively the same as cement. Glass powder is made from industrial glass and household waste, has a silica content and grain size is relatively same as sand. The use of both wastes as concrete substitutes is expected to reduce environmental pollution and exploitation of natural resources. This study aims to determine the effect of bagasse ash as a cement substitution and glass powder as sand substitution in a concrete mixture on the compressive strength. This study uses a mixture of bagasse ash 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% by weight of cement, and the glass powder is 5%, 10%, and 15% by weight of sand. Compressive strength testing on days 7 and 28. The results of this study are the higher percentage of substitution materials, workability will decrease. Compressive strength testing shows that all variations have resulted under normal concrete. The highest compressive strength is obtained from variation A with a mixture of 2.5% bagasse ash + 5% glass powder that is 24.50 MPa. Variation of the mixture with bagasse ash of 2.5% has a higher compressive strength than other variations on day 28.

Abstract

The third runway plan for Soekarno-Hatta Airport will be right on land which is quite dominated by soft soil, which of course is very prone to large subsidence at a relatively slow time. Because the time factor is very narrow while the target is constantly being pursued, it is necessary to have an appropriate soil improvement method to overcome this problem. There are two options, (1) Prefabricated Vertical Draining (PVD) and (2) Stone Column. Both are installed in a triangle pattern at two different distances. The effectiveness analysis between the two was carried out based on references from FHWA (1983) and Priebe (1995). The final output of this final project report is the result of reduction obtained and the length of time required to achieve the degree of consolidation in accordance with the requirements, with comparisons based on the results shown by the time vs settlement curve. The author's initial hypothesis considers that the use of PVD is superior to the use of Stone Columns in this case because the decline time is faster even though the resulting decrease is not much different from that produced by Stone Column.

Abstract

The growth of container flows that is not supported by infrastructure needs has caused goods congestion at Tanjung Perak Port. The situation has an impact on the flow of goods and makes container mobilization stop flowing. Railway infrastructure construction is expected to overcome the problem of goods congestion, especially because this project will be integrated with other transportation at the Port in an intermodal transportation system. The Delphi method is used as an approach to get the dominant aspect to be analyzed in a feasibility study of a railway construction project at the Port of Tanjung Perak. Delphi method results show that the financial aspect and market aspect are the dominant parameters to be analyzed in the feasibility study of a railway construction project. The results of the market feasibility analysis showed that 87.67% of stakeholders agreed with the railway development project plan, with a target market of 19.99% of the number of containers and absorption of around 84% of the target market. The results of the financial feasibility analysis are obtained, the Net Present Value (NPV) is 1,184,370> 0 (profitable project), the Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) is 1.39 ≥ 1 (the project is feasible), and the value of the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 13%> MARR, (investment is feasible). From the results of the financial feasibility analysis, the railway construction project is categorized as possible. Meanwhile, the break-even point for this project is in the 12th year with the results of a profit-loss analysis showing that in the fourth year, the railway operational activities have shown a positive trend/profit.

Abstract

Dalam menghadapi tekanan, kompetensi kepemimpinan, motivasi merupakan suatu keharusan bagi Perusahaan Konstruksi untuk mencapai keberhasilan proyek. Perusahaan Konstruksi harus mampu berinovasi dan memiliki keunggulan sehingga dapat bersaing dengan Perusahaan Konstruksi lainnya. Kinerja Perusahaan Konstruksi yang buruk merupakan cerminan bagaimana Manajer Proyek tersebut mengelola proyeknya sehingga mampu berinovasi dan dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan konstruksi lainnya. Penelitian ini akan manganoan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai alat bantu analisisnya. Perangkat lunak yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Smart PLS 3.0. Motivasi, Kepemimpinan, Kompetensi dan Keberhasilan Proyek, diperlakukan sebagai variabel laten dengan masing-masing indikatornya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis pada model interaksi untuk data sampel, dapat diketahui bahwa diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi terhadap Keberhasilan Proyek (H2) dan Motivasi terhadap Keberhasilan Proyek (H3) dapat dibuktikan. Sementara pengaruh signifikan antara Kepemimpinan terhadap Keberhasilan Proyek (H1) tidak dapat dibuktikan dalam penelitian ini. Variabel Kepemimpinan menyatakan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan Kompetensi (H4). Secara umum model pengukuran ini, menilai pengaruh dari kompetensi masih cukup kuat perannya dalam keberhasilan proyek sementara Kepemimpinan tidak memberikan efek langsung terhadap keberhasilan proyek. Dari penjelasan mengenai pembuktian hipotesis diatas, jika dilihat secara mendetail menunjukan bahwa Kepemimpinan, Kompetensi dan Motivasi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 78.2% terhadap Keberhasilan Proyek. Kompetensi memberikan pengaruh yang paling besar sesuai persamaan ini dengan koefisien sebesar 57.7% dengan arah positif dan searah, artinya peningkatan kompetensi secara langsung akan mempengaruhi peningkatan Keberhasilan Proyek sebesar 0.577 setiap kenaikan 1 satuannya. Sementara itu, Motivasi memiliki kontribusi positif sebesar 28.8% dan Kepemimpinan memberikan kontribusi Keberhasilan Proyek sebesar 0.77%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kerinci Regency has many natural attractions, arts and cultural diversity and has become the center of natural tourist attractions, Arts and Culture, In line with the main objective of the Kerinci Regency Government, an event called Kerinci Festival was then organized. Therefore, it is necessary to redesign the brand to make it more attractive, consistent, and effective. The establishment of a Brand image can be done by designing the logo in advance and supported by the activity attributes (supporting media) of the festival which has a unified entirety to be easily remembered. Data collection method was used in this design through observation, interview, literature, documentation, and data analysis using SWOT and AISAS analyses. The next process was carried out by creating a new brand with the main media in the form of Kerinci festival logo of tourism enhancement, and supporting media such as festival attributes, print publications and audiovisual media that consistently have unity in Branding. The logo of the "Kerinci Tourism Charm Festival" consists of a visual form of the Asyiek dance and a combination of the Klouk Pakou motif supported by the tagline or slogan of Nature, Arts and Culture as the brand image of the Festival of Kerinci Tourism enhancement. 297

Abstract

Most of the children in the Al Ihsan Orphanage and the Aisyiah Nanggalo Orphanage in Padang do not yet have adequate skills, so that if they leave the orphanage they are afraid that they cannot be independent. For this reason, they are fostered by providing various types of skills as a means of life, so that they can leave the institution and can even create new jobs. Unfortunately the skills given in this institution are very limited and not varied. Factors that cause the lack of variety in the types of skills provided or carried out at this orphanage are; 1) lack of experts from various types of skills and 2) lack of funds for implementation, even though there is assistance from the government and the community but not enough. The types of skills that are often carried out are sewing sewing, while the type of crafting skill has never been given. Though most orphanage children (57%) have artistic talent. For this reason, the leadership of the institution hopes that there will be training in the manufacture of handicrafts for their caregivers Based on the above problems, it was agreed with the two leaders of the Orphanage partners, that the priority issues to be resolved were related to the lack of children's skills, especially craft skills. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to do craft skills training. The type of craft given is card weaving craft. The results of this activity are that in general (81.25%) the children of the Al Ihsan and Aisyiah orphanages in Nanggalo Padang District have the ability to make hand-woven card crafts in good categories
