Abstract

This research employs a qualitative research method with a literature review approach. The reinterpretation of the differences between the Law of Moses and the Ten Commandments is an effort to contribute to the discourse on the growing misconceptions about the Law, which significantly deviate from biblical truth. The Old and New Testaments speak of two distinct laws: the Law of Moses and the Ten Commandments of God. Unfortunately, many Christians are unaware of this truth, leading to misconceptions about the definition of the Law that do not align with the Word of God. Based on the research findings, these two "laws" exhibit significant differences: the Law of Moses was temporary, meaning its validity lasted only until the death of Jesus on the cross. In contrast, the Ten Commandments of God represent the Law of Love, given to His people as an eternal principle and standard of life. Thus, the existence of Christ and His Ten Commandments is the central foundation of both the Old and New Testaments. Therefore, the Bible must be comprehensively understood as a unified whole, possessing equal authority.

Abstract

Generasi Alpha adalah generasi yang lahir dan tumbuh di tengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi, menghadapi tantangan sikap apatisme yang mengancam nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan nilai-nilai pendidikan Kristen sebagai respons terhadap sikap apatisme Generasi Alpha dengan menganalisis integrasi antara prinsip iman Kristen, pendekatan pedagogis transformatif, dan pemanfaatan media digital. Secara spesifik, penelitian ini mengkaji peran Alkitab sebagai fondasi nilai, metode pengajaran interaktif berbasis karakter Kristus, serta strategi pemanfaatan platform digital untuk penguatan spiritual. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, meliputi eksplorasi teologis, analisis model pendidikan Kristen kontemporer, dan sintesis temuan terkait media dan psikologi perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan Kristen seperti kasih, tanggung jawab, dan pelayanan dapat diinternalisasi melalui pendekatan kontekstual yang memadukan narasi Alkitabiah, pembelajaran partisipatif, dan konten kreatif digital. Implikasinya mencakup pembentukan karakter yang resilien, peningkatan keterlibatan aktif dalam komunitas iman, serta transformasi sikap apatis menjadi kepedulian sosial berbasis iman. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Kristen berpotensi menjadi solusi holistik dalam membentuk Generasi Alpha yang tangguh secara spiritual dan moral di tengah arus globalisasi.

Abstract

The Indonesian Christian Faithful Church (GKSI) Antiochia, located in East Jakarta on Kalimalang main road, serves as the location for this Community Service implementation. Based on observations and surveys conducted, worship apathy among Generation Z appears to be quite significant, particularly in their involvement in Youth worship services. This condition is exacerbated by their high dependency on gadgets and social media, along with the minimal role of spiritual mentors in facilitating meaningful worship experiences. In response to these conditions, this Community Service program aims to fulfill the need for contextual worship guidance. The objective is for Generation Z at GKSI Antiochia to experience transformation in their worship life, understand the essence of true worship (John 4:23-24), and grow into a generation of faithful worshippers. The Community Service implementation employs participatory observation methods, personal mentoring, group discussions, and worship workshops supported by literature studies. The results demonstrate significant transformation in Generation Z's understanding and practice of worship, marked by increased involvement in church services and deepened personal relationship with God.

Abstract

Abstract: The life of religious communities today has been faced with a situation that is quite astonishing and crucial. This condition is often caused by the failure of some religious people to create a humanist civilization in the midst of pluralism. In addition, this tension is often caused by the fanaticism of religious people who are too radical so that it raises intolerant attitudes between religious people. The position of Christian education as a minority in the midst of the majority has new challenges and demands. Indeed, every Christian can be a humanist figure in the midst of pluralism. Intolerant attitude is a lifestyle that needs to be avoided by every Christian. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature approach. This effort aims to offer ideas on the rise of religious fanaticism today. The author's final conclusion about PAK in a pluralistic society is that Humanist Christian education is needed by every Christian today in the face of religious fanaticism.Abstrak: Kehidupan umat beragama dewasa ini telah diperhadapkan dengan situasi yang cukup mencengangkan dan krusial. Kondisi ini tidak jarang diakibatkan oleh gagalnya sebagian umat beragama menciptakan peradaban humanis di tengah-tengah pluralisme. Selain itu, ketegangan ini kerapkali diakibatkan oleh fanatisme umat beragama yang terlalu radikal sehingga memunculkan sikap intoleran antara umat beragama. Kedudukan pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai minoritas di tengah-tengah mayoritas mendapat tantangan dan tuntutan baru. Sejatinya setiap orang Kristen dapat menjadi figur humanis di tengah-tengah pluralisme. Sikap intoleran merupakan pola hidup yang perlu dihindari oleh setiap orang Kristen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Usaha ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan gagasan terhadap maraknya fanatisme umat beragama dewasa ini. Kesimpulan akhir dari penulis tentang PAK dalam masyarakat majemuk adalah pendidikan Agama Kristen Humanis sangat diperlukan oleh setiap orang Kristen masa kini dalam menghadapi fanatisme terhadap agama.
