Abstract

Management is one of the key elements in managing institutions or institutions, including in the context of Islamic Higher Education institutions. In order to improve the quality of education and community service, Islamic higher education is currently faced with demands to move progressively towards internationalization. This process requires a shift from a university orientation that focuses on teaching (teaching university) to a university that focuses on research (research university). This shift has had a significant impact, including changes in institutional structures, mindsets, paradigms, and the strategies implemented. This study aims to discuss the management of Islamic boarding school treasures with their unique scientific traditions, as a paradigmatic basis for Islamic higher education towards international standard universities. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. Through philosophical and phenomenological analysis, this study reveals that the integration between the concept of Islamic higher education and Islamic boarding school management can be used as a pilot model and source of inspiration in the development of Islamic higher education to achieve this grand vision.

Abstract

Dewasa ini perkembangan media sosial sebagai bagian dari teknologi informasi yang memiliki kontribusi dalam aktifitas bisnis. Perkembangan tersebut juga telah mengubah pola dan peta persaingan pasar menjadi jauh lebih kompetitif. Oleh karena itu penguasaan penggunaan media sosial menjadi penting dan strategis yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap pelaku bisnis. Akan tetapi, masih banyak UKM (Usaha Kecil dan Menengah) yang belum menerapkan teknologi informasi khususnya menggunakan media digital dan belum mengerti seberapa besar manfaat serta kengunaan media digital tersebut. Peralihan metode bisnis manual menuju bisnis digital merupakan sebuah keniscayaan, mengingat perkembangan tegnologi sudah tidak dapat dibendung lagi. Mitra Pengabdian Masyarakat pada kegiatan ini adalah UKM di Kecamatan Metro Utara yang bergerak dalam berbagai bidang usaha kecil. Perlu diberikan pemahaman kepada UKM tentang pentingnya pemanfaatan digital marketing agar sistem pemasarannya menjadi lebih baik sehingga dapat memperluas cakupan target usahanya. Selain itu, UKM juga diberikan bantuan dalam membuat akun bisnis di media digital yaitu toko online seperti: Instagram, facebook, youtube, whats App beserta cara mengelola media digital tersebut secara optimal. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan pendampingan diberikan kemampuan dalam penggunaan strategi marketing menggunakan tegnologi digital dan melakukan pembimbingan secara berkala sehingga efektif dan optimal dalam menunjang kegiatan pemasaran dan meningkatkan hasil penjualan UKM.
