Abstract

In the curcumin compound there are aromatic compounds that have electronic spins on each side of the benzene. In previous research, the concentration of curcumin and H2O as coatings on copper coils could provide physical changes to the characteristics of copper coils, namely increasing the strength of the magnetic field and increasing the electric current in the coil. The fuzzification process can be described using membership variables with concentrations of curcumin and H2O as input, magnetic field strength and current as output. It is known that the greatest concentration of curcumin indicates increased magnetic field strength and electric current. Simulation of the aromatic spin on the curcumin compound as an Op Amp shows that the highest curcumin concentration value results in an increase in the output voltage (Vout).

Abstract

Motorcycle theft remains a widespread issue that demands improved security solutions supported by modern technology. This research discusses the development and implementation of a motorcycle security system design using an ESP8266 microcontroller integrated incorporating the GPS Neo-7M positioning module, SW-420 vibration detection sensor, and an electronically controlled solenoid lock. The implemented mechanism is monitored and controlled via the Telegram application, allowing the owner to receive real-time updates about the motorcycle’s status through a Telegram Bot. The development process involves hardware integration, ESP8266 programming, and functional testing. The SW-420 sensor detects vibrations as indicators of possible theft, triggering a buzzer alarm and sending instant notifications through Telegram. The GPS Neo-7M module provides location data in real time, automatically or upon user request, through a Google Maps link. Users can also lock or unlock the motorcycle remotely by sending the lock or /unlock commands via Telegram. Test results show that the system responds to vibrations in less than one second, delivers Telegram notifications within 3–5 seconds, and determines location with an accuracy of 3–10 meters. Overall, the proposed system offers an effective, practical, and low-cost solution to enhance motorcycle security.

Abstract

The rise in crime, especially theft, in residential areas demands a smarter and more efficient security system. This research designs a prototype Internet of Things (IoT)-based home security system with the integration of various smart sensors that can be controlled and monitored remotely. The ESP32-Wrover-CAM microcontroller is used as the control center, supported by an RC522 RFID sensor, an AM312 PIR sensor, a reed switch, an OV2640 camera, a buzzer, and a door lock solenoid. Test results show the system is capable of detecting motion, unlocking the door using an RFID card, and sending photos and real-time notifications via Telegram with an average response time of 0.86 seconds at an internet speed of 8.32 Mbps. The system successfully improves home security efficiently and can be controlled both ways (manually and online).
