Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 sangat berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang semula dilakukan dengan tatap muka berubah menjadi jarak jauh (daring) atau yang biasa disebut dengan pembelajaran online. Tidak sedikit mahasiswa yang mengeluh akan adanya perubahan tersebut. Keterbatasan sinyal hingga tingkat kepahaman materi menjadi keluhan para mahasiswa tersebut. Kejenuhan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa akibat pembelajaran online dapat berdampak pada kondisi psikologi seseorang. Jika dibiarkan, maka dapat mengakibatkan adanya gangguan depresi, stress, maupun kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat depresi, stress, dan kecemasan mahasiswa Teknik Elektro selama pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner DASS 21. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 90 mahasiswa Teknik Elektro Universitas Islam Lamongan. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling, yaitu dengan cara meminta kesediaan responden untuk terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap depresi, stress, dan kecemasan pada mahasiswa selama dilakukannya pembelajaran online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 17,8% responden mengalami depresi, 25,6% mengalami stress, dan 21,2% mengalami kecemasan. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi depresi, stres, dan kecemasan pada mahasiswa selama pembelajaran online adalah sulitnya menikmati waktu luang dan kesulitan dalam pembelajaran online.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabidan ini yaitu untuk memudahkan warga menghidupkan lampu secara otomatis sehingga lebih efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, photocell juga dapat menghemat energi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi terkait Photocell dan pelatihan pembuatannya. Sasaran yang dituju yaitu warga Desa Laren. Peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini  adalah masyarakat Desa Laren sekitar yang sebagian besar adalah pelajar dan pekerja/karyawan swasta. Jumlah peserta yang terlibat yaitu 19. Hasil dari pelatihan pembuatan lampu otomatis berbasis photocell, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan warga tentang photocell sebesar 62%. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan masyarakat Desa Laren tentang teknologi modern. Pemakaian saklar otomatis berbasis photocell bagi warga Desa Laren diharapkan dapat berhasil dan berguna bagi masyarakat sekeliling, karena lampu bisa menyala secara otomatis sehingga masyarakat tidak harus menyalakan secara manual ketika gelap maupun hujan serta menghindari kelupaan yang mungkin terjadi. Photocell-Based Automatic Lamp Making Training for Youth in Laren Village, Lamongan Regency The purpose of this application is to make it easier for citizens to turn on lights automatically so that they are more effective and efficient. In addition, photocells can also save energy. This service activity is carried out with a socialization method related to Photocell and training in its manufacture. The intended target is Laren Village residents. Participants in this community service activity are the surrounding Laren Village community, most of whom are students and workers / private employees. The number of participants involved was 19. The results of the training in making photocell-based automatic lights, there was an increase in residents' knowledge about photocells by 62%. This activity is expected to add insight to the people of Laren Village about modern technology. The use of automatic switches using photocell sensors for residents of Laren Village will be very beneficial for the surrounding area, because the lights can automatically turn on. Residents do not need to manually turn on the lights when it rains and dark or avoid forgetfulness that might occur.

Abstract

In the world of engineering, one example of using a matrix is to find a solution to a system of linear equations (SLE). In the scientific field that studies electrical circuits, it is not uncommon to use matrices to calculate the quantities or values in an electric circuit. To make it easier to find these values, an operation process based on the Cramer and inverse methods based on Matlab is used so that finally the values contained in the electrical circuit are obtained. These values are electric current and electric voltage. In this study, it can be concluded that the use of the Matlab-based matrix inverse method is better in terms of the accuracy of the research results, when compared to the manual use of the Cramer method, which has an accuracy difference of 0.0006%. For the calculation of the current variable i3. and 0.81% for the calculation of the electric voltage variable at node AB.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan warga Desa Drajat dalam melakukan perawatan tanaman di taman alun-alun desa secara otomatis sehingga lebih efektif dan efisien. Sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis yang dirancang juga bertujuan untuk menghemat energi serta memastikan penyiraman yang teratur dan merata. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan terkait penggunaan Timer Relay untuk membangun sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah warga Desa Drajat, dengan peserta yang terdiri dari pelajar, nelayan, dan karyawan, berjumlah lebih dari 15 orang. Pelatihan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan warga tentang sistem penyiraman otomatis berbasis Timer Relay hingga 70%. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan penyiraman manual yang tidak konsisten dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam perawatan taman alun-alun. Selain itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pengetahuan warga tentang teknologi modern yang dapat mempermudah aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem penyiraman otomatis yang dikembangkan berhasil diimplementasikan, memberikan manfaat bagi lingkungan sekitar, dan memungkinkan warga untuk merawat tanaman secara lebih efisien. Training on the Creation of an Automatic Plant Watering System in the Drajat Village Square Park Abstract This community service aims to facilitate the residents of Drajat Village in automatically maintaining plants in the village square park, making the process more effective and efficient. The automatic plant watering system is also designed to save energy and ensure regular and even irrigation. The service activities were conducted through socialization and training on the use of Timer Relay to build an automatic plant watering system. The target audience was the residents of Drajat Village, with participants including students, fishermen, and employees, totaling more than 15 people. This training increased the residents' knowledge of the automatic watering system using Timer Relay by up to 70%. The implementation of this system is expected to resolve the inconsistency of manual watering and improve efficiency in maintaining the village square park. Additionally, the activity aimed to broaden the community's knowledge of modern technology that can simplify daily tasks. The results showed that the automatic watering system was successfully implemented, providing benefits to the surrounding environment and enabling residents to maintain the plants more efficiently.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper proposes moving horizon estimation (MHE) to estimate the state variables of autonomous vehicle linear systems under measurement noises. To solve the MHE optimization problem, quadratic programming is employed. The steering angle, yaw angle, and global position constraints of an autonomous vehicle are considered in the estimation design. According to the simulation results, it can be observed that although the longer MHE step can give better results compared to the shorter MHE step, the difference in the MHE step only slightly affects the estimated results. However, the longer MHE step can increase the computational time. Additionally, the proposed MHE scheme is compared to the Kalman filter (KF) estimator. Based on the obtained results, the KF gives a better estimation than the MHE, but this notion must be verified for other case studies.Keywords: autonomous vehicle; Kalman filter; linear system; MHE; quadratic programming. AbstrakPaper ini mengusulkan moving horizon estimation (MHE) untuk mengestimasi variabel keadaan sistem linier kendaraan otonom karena pengaruh noise pengukuran. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi MHE, digunakan pemrograman kuadratik. Kendala sudut kemudi, sudut yaw dan posisi global dari kendaraan otonom dipertimbangkan dalam desain estimasi. Dari hasil simulasi dapat diketahui bahwa meskipun langkah MHE yang lebih panjang dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan langkah MHE yang lebih pendek, perbedaan langkah MHE hanya sedikit mempengaruhi hasil estimasi. Namun, langkah MHE yang semakin panjang dapat meningkatkan waktu komputasi. Selain itu, skema MHE yang diusulkan dibandingkan dengan estimator Kalman filter (KF). Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, KF memberikan estimasi yang lebih baik daripada MHE, tetapi gagasan ini harus diverifikasi untuk studi kasus lainnya.Kata Kunci: kendaraan otonom; Kalman filter; sistem linier; MHE; pemrograman kuadratik. 2020MSC: 62P35, 65D19

Abstract

PD Utama Jaya Plasindo, a company specializing in plastic pellet processing, faces several production challenges, such as fluctuating demand, raw material shortages, machinery downtime, and labor management. To address these issues and improve production planning, the company uses MATLAB's linprog tool, which is designed for Linear Programming (LP) and aims to maximize profits. The company's profit is calculated using the formula: Profit = 37A + 46B + 38C + 46D. This calculation takes into account seven constraints related to raw materials, machinery usage, labor hours, and product demand. With this method, PD Utama Jaya Plasindo earns a daily profit of Rp. 837,600 from its plastic buckle products, totaling Rp. 16,752,000 over 20 working days in a month. These profit figures, based on clear objectives and constraints, help ensure that production goals are met and facilitate the monitoring and optimization of production capacity. By leveraging MATLAB's linprog, the company can better manage demand fluctuations and optimize the use of raw materials, machinery, and labor.

Abstract

This paper proposes a mathematical model for cholera using optimal control of treatment through quarantine and water sanitation. Cholera is acute diarrhoea caused by Vibrio cholera bacteria infecting the intestinal tract. The analysis related to the spread of this disease is carried out through a mathematical approach. The constructed mathematical model is demonstrated epidemiologically. The proposed optimal control is the treatment of infected individuals during the quarantine period and sanitation, namely environmental hygiene, especially water. This strategy aims to suppress the number of infected individuals and reduce the concentration of bacteria due to cholera disease. To solve the optimal control problem, we employ the 4th-order forward-backward Runge-Kutta method. Based on the simulation results, the number of individuals infected by cholera and the concentration of bacteria decreased significantly. Moreover, the proposed method can transfer infected to recovered individuals faster than an optimal control treatment.

Abstract

Dalam dunia teknik salah satu contoh penggunaan matriks adalah untuk mencari solusi sistem persamaan linear (SPL). Dalam bidang keilmuan yang mempelajari  rangkaian listrik, tidak jarang digunakan matriks untuk menghitung besaran-besaran atau nilai-nilai yang ada di dalam rangkaian listrik. Untuk mempermudah dalam mencari nilai-nilai tersebut  digunakan proses operasi baris elementer (OBE) dan invers matlab serta Eliminasi Gauss berbasis Matlab sehingga akhirnya diperoleh nilai-nilai yang terdapat di dalam rangkaian listrik tersebut. Nilai-nilai tersebut adalah arus listrik.

Abstract

Agricultural land is a natural resource that plays an important role in the continuity of human life. Lamongan is one of the regencies with vast agricultural land, around 80% of the Lamongan Regency area is agricultural land consisting of rice fields and non-rice fields. However, every year Lamongan is hit by drought in several regions. Drought in Lamongan occurs on average around June - October. Several sub-districts in Lamongan are hit by drought, one of the causes of which is low rainfall during the dry season. This study used rainfall data and Landsat 8 satellite imagery with a time span of August - October 2019 - 2023. Landsat 8 imagery was adjusted to the months used, and image processing to obtain drought results in Lamongan Regency using the NDDI (Normalized Difference Drought Index). From the processing, the results obtained in October 2023 were that the area hit by severe drought was Sarirejo District with an area value of 32,490,000 m2 from the total area of ​​Sarirejo District of 47,380,000 m2. Around 68.57% of the Sarirejo District area was hit by severe drought. This study aims to determine the area affected by drought in the Lamongan area. So it can be used for mitigation in future drought disasters.
