Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly transformed workplace environments across various industries, including those operating within Islamic frameworks. The integration of digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) in Islamic workplaces has reshaped organizational structures, work ethics, and employee interactions, raising questions about the compatibility of technology with Islamic business principles. Balancing efficiency, ethical considerations, and adherence to Islamic values presents both opportunities and challenges for organizations seeking to maintain Islamic ethical integrity in a rapidly evolving digital era. This study aims to examine the impact of technology on productivity, ethical work practices, and employee engagement in Islamic workplaces. A mixed-methods approach is employed, combining surveys distributed to employees in Islamic organizations and in-depth interviews with business leaders and Islamic scholars. Quantitative data measures changes in productivity and employee satisfaction, while qualitative data explores perceptions of ethical dilemmas, technological dependence, and alignment with Islamic work ethics. Findings indicate that while technology enhances operational efficiency and flexibility, concerns arise regarding digital distractions, ethical challenges in automation, and the erosion of traditional interpersonal workplace values. The study concludes that technology must be strategically implemented to support productivity without compromising Islamic ethical principles.

Abstract

The increasing reliance on social media has significantly changed how information is shared, including in the realm of Islamic preaching or da’wah. The millennial generation, who are digital natives, represents a key demographic for engaging in da’wah via social media platforms. This study explores the da’wah management strategies used by Islamic organizations and lecturers to attract and engage the millennial generation on social media. Using a qualitative research design, this study analyzes the strategies employed by Islamic organizations to effectively communicate religious messages through social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter. The findings reveal that interactive content, visual storytelling, and the use of authenticity in messaging are the most effective strategies for engaging millennials. Content that resonates with the values, experiences, and interests of millennials significantly enhances their engagement with da’wah content. The study concludes that social media is a powerful tool for modern da’wah, especially for attracting and influencing the millennial generation. However, the research also highlights challenges such as the need for culturally relevant content and the ethical considerations of using digital platforms for religious outreach. The findings suggest that Islamic leaders should focus on strategic content creation that aligns with the values of younger audiences while maintaining authenticity in their message.

Abstract

The increasing demand for fuel efficiency in commercial vehicles has prompted extensive research into aerodynamic designs. Improved aerodynamics can significantly reduce drag, leading to enhanced fuel economy and lower operational costs for commercial fleets. Understanding the relationship between aerodynamic design and fuel efficiency is critical for optimizing vehicle performance. This research aims to evaluate the impact of various aerodynamic designs on the fuel efficiency of commercial vehicles. The study focuses on analyzing the performance differences between conventional and streamlined vehicle shapes. An experimental approach was employed, utilizing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations alongside real-world driving tests. Several vehicle models with different aerodynamic features were tested under controlled conditions. Fuel consumption data was collected and analyzed to assess the relationship between design modifications and fuel efficiency. The findings indicated that streamlined designs improved fuel efficiency by an average of 15% compared to conventional models. Vehicles with enhanced aerodynamic features experienced reduced drag coefficients, leading to significant fuel savings during operation. The results demonstrated a clear correlation between aerodynamic optimization and improved fuel economy. The research highlights the crucial role of aerodynamic design in enhancing fuel efficiency for commercial vehicles. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating aerodynamic considerations into vehicle design processes.

Abstract

Community-based forest management (CBFM) has gained prominence as a strategy for sustainable forest governance in tropical Asia. This approach seeks to empower local communities, enhance biodiversity conservation, and improve livelihoods. However, the implementation of CBFM faces numerous challenges that can hinder its effectiveness. This research aims to identify the key challenges and opportunities associated with CBFM in tropical Asia. The study seeks to provide insights into the factors influencing successful implementation and to highlight best practices that can enhance community engagement in forest management. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with community members, local officials, and NGOs, along with quantitative surveys of forest management practices. Case studies from selected countries in tropical Asia were analyzed to identify common themes and variations in CBFM implementation. Findings reveal that while CBFM has the potential to improve forest sustainability and empower communities, challenges such as inadequate capacity, lack of financial resources, and conflicting interests among stakeholders persist. Opportunities for enhancing CBFM include strengthening local governance structures, improving access to technology, and fostering partnerships with NGOs and government agencies. The study concludes that addressing the challenges of CBFM is essential for its success in tropical Asia. By leveraging the identified opportunities, stakeholders can enhance community participation and promote sustainable forest management. This research underscores the importance of an integrated approach that combines local knowledge with external support to achieve effective CBFM outcomes.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are vital for economic growth in many developing countries, including Indonesia. However, these businesses face significant challenges related to management inefficiencies, limited access to resources, and lack of technological adoption. This study aims to develop a cloud-based Management Information System (MIS) specifically tailored for MSMEs. The system is designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and facilitate better management practices for MSMEs in Indonesia. The research utilizes a design and development approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data was collected through surveys and interviews with MSME owners and managers to identify their needs and challenges. The MIS was then developed using cloud computing technologies and tested with a sample of MSMEs. The cloud-based MIS successfully streamlined key management processes such as inventory tracking, financial management, and customer relationship management. Users reported increased operational efficiency, easier data access, and better decision-making capabilities. The system proved scalable, allowing MSMEs of different sizes and sectors to benefit from the technology. The study concludes that cloud computing-based MIS can significantly improve the management processes of MSMEs, contributing to their growth and sustainability.
