Abstract

Zircaloy-2 has been used as fuel element cladding material in both light and heavy water power reactors. The aims of the experiment are to study the kinetics of precipitate coarsening during isothermal a-annealing and to characterize the nucleation and growth of precipitate affected by the variations of cold work and heat treatment. The results of the experiment show that all specimens annealed at 650°C have the average precipitate diameter less than 0.1 um whereas those at 750°C have the average size larger than 0.1 .tm except for one annealed for less than 5 hours. The average size of precipitates is 0.07 um for specimens deformed before 0-quenching and 0.168 .tm for specimens deformed after 0-quenching. The deformed specimens after 13-quenching have more homogeneous size distribution than that of undeformed specimens and specimens deformed before 0-quenching. The kinetics of precipitate coarsening depends on the changes in annealing temperature and time, and cooling rate from the 0-phase region. The nucleation and growth of precipitates have been influenced by the variations of cold work and heat treatment.

Abstract

The development of popular culture lately has an impact on local culture which is starting to be  abandoned, especially by the younger generation. Like kesenian Kubro in Ngasinan Village,  Purworejo, which was abandoned because there was no longer public enthusiasm for that art.  Kubro in Ngasinan Village has been preserved again by Grup Kesenian Kubro Tujuh Bidadari by  combining Kubro with dangdut rhythms to suit the tastes of the community. This effort is a big  thing in preserving local culture. Especially with the involvement of children who are the nation's  next generation in this effort. Thus, Kubro can be a representation of nationalism through regional  arts that are adapted to the times without losing the identity of the art. In this study, visual and  non-visual signs that represent nationalism will be analyzed. The method used in this study is a  qualitative descriptive method with a semiological approach. Based on the results of the analysis,  there are representations of nationalism found in dance moves, the costumes of dancers, and  Kubro’s song lyrics in Purworejo Regency. Based on the results of the analysis, it is hoped that the  main purpose of this art as an effort to preserve a local culture that represents nationalism as well  as entertainment for the community can be fulfilled.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan nama-nama dukuh di setiap dusun yang ada di desa Gadingrejo, mendeskripsikan proses pembentukan nama-nama dukuh secara morfologis, serta mengkategorikan nama-nama dukuh berdasarkan aspek penamaannya. Data penelitian kualitatif ini dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori morfologi Kridalaksana (2007) dan aspek toponimi Sudaryat, dkk. (2009). Hasil penelitian berupa terdokumentasikannya nama-nama dukuh yang ada di Desa Gadingrejo, yaitu sebanyak 45 dukuh yang berada di enam dusun. Proses morfologi yang ditemukan pada pembentukan nama dukuh di desa Gadingrejo ada lima macam, yaitu derivasi zero, afiksasi, reduplikasi, abreviasi, dan komposisi. Pembentukan nama dukuh didasarkan pada aspek perwujudan, kemasyarakatan, dan kebudayaan.

Abstract

Mempelajari bacaan aksara Sunda sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan, karenanya selain menjadi suatu pembelajaran, tapi juga salah satu cara dalam menjaga warisan budaya. Adanya anggapan bahwa peserta didik merasa kesulitan dalam mempelajari aksara Sunda merupakan salah satu penyebab ketidaktercapaian hasil belajar yang maksimal dalam pembelajaran membaca aksara Sunda. Media pembelajaran yang memiliki peran penting dalam rangkaian pembelajaran dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan tujuan dari materi pembelajaran.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui serta mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan peserta didik kelas V-B SDN Cimanggu Kecil Bogor Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 dalam membaca serta menulis aksara Sunda sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan media engklek. Serta untuk mengetahui keefektifan dan peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran membaca aksara Sunda setelah menerapkan media engklek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan desain pre-test, treatment, dan post-test  terhadap peserta didik kelas V-B SDN Cimanggu Kecil Bogor Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 33 peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan, sebelum menerapkan media engklek, yakni berada dalam kategori belum mencapai ketercapaian dengan rata-rata yakni 53,96. Sedangkan, hasil setelah menerapkan media engklek yakni berada dalam katégori sudah mencapai ketercapaian dengan rata-rata menjadi 73,06. Maka dari itu dapat terlihat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan membaca aksara Sunda antara sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan media engklek berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan hasil signifikansi (Sig (2-tailed)) berada pada angka 0,000 atau ≤ 0,05. Kesimpulannya adalah media pembelajaran dengan media engklek efektif untuk kemampuan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran membaca aksara Sunda.  Learning Sundanese script reading is very important in the world of education, because in addition to being a lesson, but also one way to maintain cultural heritage. The assumption that students find it difficult to learn Sundanese characters is one of the causes of not achieving maximum learning outcomes in learning to read Sundanese characters. Learning media that has an important role in a series of lessons can help teachers in conveying the objectives of the learning material. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe how the ability of class V-B students of SDN Cimanggu Kecil Bogor Academic Year 2023/2024 in reading and writing Sundanese characters before and after applying engklek media. As well as to determine the effectiveness and increase in students' interest in learning to read Sundanese characters after applying engklek media. The method used in this study, using the quasi-experimental method, with a pre-test, treatment, and post-test design for class V-B students of SDN Cimanggu Kecil Bogor Academic Year 2023/2024 which amounted to 33 students. The results of the study showed, before applying the engklek media, which was in the category of not achieving achievement with an average of 53.96. Meanwhile, the results after applying engklek media are in the category of having reached achievement with an average of 73.06. Therefore, it can be seen that there is a significant difference in the ability to read Sundanese characters between before and after applying engklek media based on the results of the normality test and hypothesis testing which shows the significance results (Sig (2-tailed)) are at 0.000 or ≤ 0.05. The conclusion is that learning media with engklek media is effective for students' ability to learn to read Sundanese characters.
