Abstract

The problem of this research is an effort to prove the effectiveness of the LKPD-based learning model on science content learning outcomes at SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I. This research method is a descriptive method, the form of research is classroom action research (PTK) and is collaborative in nature, the research subjects are teachers and class IV students SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I, numbering 24 people. This research uses direct observation techniques, and uses test question sheets as a data collection tool. The research results are based on observations through effective science learning on student learning outcomes using the PBL method assisted by LKPD. This shows that the hypothesis which states that the implementation of PBL-based science learning assisted by LKPD in class IV of SD Muhammadiyah Wirobrajan I is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the applicability and utility of truth or dare card media as an educational medium to strengthen concept mastery among Grade V students in the Pancasila subject at Kowangbinangun State Elementary School. The study is categorized as Research and Development. All 18 students participated as subjects through the use of complete enumeration sampling. The data collection process was conducted through observation, interviews, tests, and questionnaires. Instrument validity was evaluated through expert judgment (judge experts), while instrument reliability was assessed using interview sheets, observation forms, and both pre-test and post-test sheets. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative approach. The findings reveal that the appropriateness of the truth or dare card media as a learning tool to enhance students’ conceptual understanding in Pancasila education for fifth-grade students at Kowangbinangun State Elementary School was appraised by media experts with an average validation score of 4.5, and by material experts with an average score of 4, thus declaring the media feasible for improving students' comprehension and suitable for implementation. Moreover, the truth or dare card media proved to be a usable instructional tool to help enhance the conceptual grasp of Pancasila education among fifth-grade learners at Kowangbinangun State Elementary School. This conclusion is drawn from teacher assessments, which yielded an average of 4.6, and student evaluations, which showed a mean score of 4.67. Accordingly, the media can be regarded as efficient in practice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in learning interest in grade IV in science lessons with interactive learning media based on animated powerpoint at Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School. Classroom Action Research (PTK) is a research method that is carried out in two cycles with four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study is grade IV students of Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School which consists of 25 students. The data collection technique of this research is by observation, questionnaire and documentation. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study show that there is an increase in teacher activity in social studies learning, namely in the first cycle it reached 72.22% and the second cycle 92.59%, there was an increase in student activity in social studies learning, namely in the first cycle it reached 61.54% and in the second cycle 82.59%, there was an increase in student learning interest, namely in the first cycle it reached 44.00% and in the cycle 92.00%. So it can be concluded that using interactive learning media based on powerpoint moving animation can increase teacher activities, student activities and student learning interests in social studies subjects in grade IV of Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kembangjitengan 2 Sleman pada mata pembelajaran IPAS dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi berbasis volcano eruption experiment. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kembangjitengan 2 Sleman yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data untuk keaktifan belajar siswa menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang didasari data kuantitatif setelah menghitung semua komponen penilaian dan mengambil rata-ratanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi berbasis volcano eruption experiment memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan skor rata-rata dari hasil observasi keaktifan siswa. Keaktifan belajar siswa meningkat dari 34% pada kondisi awal menjadi 53% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 90,9 % pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode demonstrasi berbasis volcano eruption experiment terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS.
