Abstract

The development of android-based comical learning media is motivated by the number of students who find it difficult to achieve complete learning on the material for the Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). It is known that based on the field analysis, one of the reasons is that a lot of time is wasted to understanding the problem, making mathematical models and than solving them. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media that is attractive, easy to use and can improve the students learning outcomes, especially in class grade eight. Because many students are already using Android as technology develops, the teaching media developed is based on Android. It also supports the implementation of Distance Learning (PJJ) during the pandemic. The concept of learning media is the delivery of material in the form of comics that are adjusted to the order of completion of each step. This research is aimed at eighth grade students. This research used 10 stages of the development model, according to Sugiyono (2012). And for the criteria for the quality of learning media using three criteria according to Nieveen (1999). The presentation and suitability between the material and the media is considered with validity with an average score of 3.43. it is very practical, so it is easy to use by students and teachers with an average score of 3.42. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the effective value media was used by students with an average score of 3.17 student responses, and an average score of 74.7 student learning outcomes tests, with a KKM of 70. So it can be deduced that the learning media developed fulfills the criteria.

Abstract

Strategi team quiz ini merupakan salah satu strategi pembelajaran aktif sesuai untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa dalam membuat soal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan  kreativitas  pengajuan  soal  siswa  kelas  VII-G  SMP Negeri 2 Wonoayu Sidoarjo dalam pembelajaran aktif strategi team quiz pokok bahasan Himpunan. Dengan subjek penelitian masing-masing satu siswa kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah.Hasil pembahasan data diperoleh deskripsi kreativitas pengajuan soal siswa dalam pembelajaran aktif strategi team quiz. Siswa kemampuan matematika  tinggi  memenuhi  indikator kreativitas yaitu  kefasihan  dan fleksibilitas serta memenuhi indikator kebaruan pada tiga soal dari empat soal yang diajukan. Siswa kemampuan matematika sedang memenuhi indikator kreativitas yaitu kefasihan dan fleksibilitas serta memenuhi indikator kebaruan pada satu soal dari empat soal yang diajukan. Sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan matematika rendah memenuhi indikator kreativitas kefasihan, memenuhi indikator fleksibilitas pada tes pengajuan kedua dan memenuhi indikator kebaruan pada satu soal ketika tes pengajuan soal kedua.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mathematical disposition profile of students with high mathematical abilities in solving contextual problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study were subject selection tests, mathematical disposition tests, interviews. The results of data analysis showed: subjects with high mathematical abilities in solving contextual questions showed aspects of self-confidence, flexibility, resilient teeth, and curiosity. With these results it can be drawn a statement that mathematical dispositions must always be instilled in students in every implementation of mathematics learning. In addition, the teacher's attitude in learning mathematics must be able to reflect the various characteristics of mathematical dispositions to be emulated by students.

Abstract

Representasi matematika akan digunakan oleh setiap siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis representasi matematika yang digunakan oleh setiap siswa biasanya bergantung pada kesukaan da kebiasaan masing-masing siswa. Jenis-jenis representasi matematis yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa dalam  menyelesaikan masalah matematika sangat beragam. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan representasi siswa yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan teka-teki matematika yang disajikan dalam representasi visual. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Candi. Subjek penelitian dipilih sebanyak 2 siswa dengan skor angket dengan kategori tinggi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket minat siswa pada teka-teki dan lembar tes yang berisi 1 soal teka-teki yang disajikan dalam jenis representasi visual. Hasil yang diperoleh S1 tidak menunjukkan jawaban yang tepat, sedangkan jawaban yang diperoleh S2 menunjukkan jawaban yang tepat tetapi benar atau tidaknya jawaban yang diperoleh subjek bukan hal utama yang akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Ha utama yang akan dibahasdalam penelitian ini adalah representasi yang ditunjukkan oelh masing-masing subjek dalam pengerjaannya. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa S1 menggunakan representasi persamaan atau kalimat matematika. S2 menggunakan representasi visual untuk menyelesaikannya

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a workshop to strengthen the literacy Program Sekolah Penggerak (PSP) of primary school teachers in Sidoarjo. PSP is a government initiative to improve the quality of basic education and teacher participation is crucial to the success of the program. The workshop was designed to provide primary school teachers with an in-depth understanding of PSP concepts, objectives and implementation strategies. The method of organizing the workshop began with observation to determine the needs of the target in order to deepen the concept of literacy, then continued with the implementation of workshop activities which included presentations, group discussions, and practical simulations. Next, a questionnaire was administered to determine the interest, perceptions, attitudes and beliefs of participants towards improving literacy after participating in this activity. The evaluation results showed that the increase in teachers' understanding and involvement in PSP after attending the workshop was very positive. The results of the questionnaire on participants' perceptions of literacy improvement showed that 96% of participants had a positive perception of the workshop activities. The literacy strengthening workshop received a positive response from the participants. During the presentation of the material, participants followed with enthusiasm. This community service activity can improve teachers' understanding of literacy concepts and literacy misconceptions. participants were able to identify the potential and challenges in implementing PSP in their schools and develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of the program. With this workshop, it is hoped that the literacy of the PSP program can be improved, have a positive impact on learning at the primary level, and improve the quality of education in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kebijakan nilai tukar dan fluktuasi suku bunga, ekonomi makro terhadap arus Investasi Asing Langsung (Foreign Direct Investment/FDI) di Indonesia. FDI memiliki peran signifikan dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi negara terutama dalam meningkatkan pendanaan, transfer teknologi, dan akses pasar global. Dengan menggunakan metode literature review, artikel ini menganalisis berbagai kajian sebelumnya yang membahas hubungan antara kebijakan nilai tukar, suku bunga, dan FDI. Studi ini menemukan bahwa kebijakan nilai tukar yang stabil dan suku bunga yang kompetitif bisa meningkatkan daya tarik Indonesia sebagai tujuan investasi asing. Namun, fluktuasi yang tinggi pada kedua variabel ini bisa menurunkan aliran FDI, terutama dalam sektor-sektor yang bergantung pada kestabilan ekonomi. Artikel ini menyarankan agar kebijakan ekonomi Indonesia mengutamakan kestabilan nilai tukar dan pengelolaan suku bunga yang pro-investasi.

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan membaca mempunyai peranan penting terhadap keberhasilan akademik siswa. Namun, masih banyak siswa di sekolah dasar yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, terutama di kelas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tidaknya pengaruh metode Orton-Gillingham terhadap kesulitan membaca siswa kelas IV dan V di SDN Kalipecabean Sidoarjo. Metode Orton-Gillingham merupakan metode yang terstruktur pada huruf dan bunyi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre Experimental One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 6 siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling . Instrumen berupa lembar observasi tes kemampuan membaca, dianalisis menggunakan Paired Sample T-Test . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikansi kemampuan membaca siswa setelah diterapkan menggunakan metode Orton-Gillingham, dengan nilai p sebesar 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Jadi terdapat perbedaan setelah dan sesudah menggunakan metode Orton-Gillingham yang dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai posttest siswa . Hal ini berarti terdapat peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas IV dan V SDN Kalipecabean Kota Sidoarjo. Hal ini juga menunjukkan bahwa metode Orton-Gillingham efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas IV dan V SDN Kalipecabean. Kata Kunci: Metode Orton Gillingham, membantu membaca .

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the formation of self-concept based on Sufism can address moral deviations among students (santri) at Islamic boarding schools. Conducted at Pondok Pesantren Al-Inaroh, the research investigates the integration of Sufi teachings into the institution's character development framework. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to collect both primary and secondary data. The findings indicate that the internalization of core Sufi values—such as muraqabah (spiritual vigilance), muhasabah (self-reflection), and zuhud (detachment from worldly desires)—plays a critical role in cultivating spiritual awareness among students. This awareness positively shapes their self-concept, which, in turn, acts as a preventive mechanism against moral deviations. The research highlights the significant impact of Sufism-based education in fostering a strong moral foundation within the pesantren environment. By offering insights into how spiritually grounded educational models contribute to moral development, the study presents a valuable approach for addressing moral deviance and strengthening character education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Driving under the influence of alcohol is a safety issue of increasing public concern. Alcohol is a factor in many categories of accidents. Investigations and resolution of legal problems need to be followed up until the case is resolved in court. Items in the form of physical evidence related to the crime scene, victims and suspects need to be identified. Based on this, one of the topics raised in this research includes the results of identification and analysis of criminal cases involving alcohol consumption which were tested qualitatively and quantitatively, so that evidence can be determined during the investigation process as to whether there is alcohol content in it. In the process of qualitative identification of alcohol content, it is carried out using the Conway Microdiffusion method which states that the urine evidence is positive for alcohol, which is indicated by the color changing to green. Meanwhile, identification of alcohol levels in evidence is carried out using a Gas Chromatography -Flame lonization Detector (GC-FID). Analysis of the alcohol content in the evidence stated that the presence of ethanol was 0.0352%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in learning interest in grade IV in science lessons with interactive learning media based on animated powerpoint at Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School. Classroom Action Research (PTK) is a research method that is carried out in two cycles with four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of this study is grade IV students of Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School which consists of 25 students. The data collection technique of this research is by observation, questionnaire and documentation. The analysis used in this study is descriptive analysis both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study show that there is an increase in teacher activity in social studies learning, namely in the first cycle it reached 72.22% and the second cycle 92.59%, there was an increase in student activity in social studies learning, namely in the first cycle it reached 61.54% and in the second cycle 82.59%, there was an increase in student learning interest, namely in the first cycle it reached 44.00% and in the cycle 92.00%. So it can be concluded that using interactive learning media based on powerpoint moving animation can increase teacher activities, student activities and student learning interests in social studies subjects in grade IV of Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School.
