Abstract

Effective health communication is essential in improving people's understanding of health issues, especially in Arabic-speaking communities. This study aims to analyse the application of communication psychology in delivering health information through Arabic as well as how Arabic language education can influence the effectiveness of health communication. Using a qualitative approach, this study used literature analysis and in-depth interviews with health practitioners and Arabic language educators to explore the psychological factors that influence health communication. The study found that psychological principles of communication, such as empathy, perception management, and persuasion, were instrumental in improving audience understanding of the health messages conveyed. In addition, the values embodied in Arabic education, such as communication ethics, the use of clear and understandable language, and cultural considerations, make an important contribution in building an effective relationship between the messenger and the audience. However, challenges faced in Arabic health communication include dialectal differences, cultural barriers, and low health literacy in some communities. This study suggests the need for a more contextualised and value-based approach in Arabic language education to improve the effectiveness of health communication. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of health communication strategies that are more effective and suited to the needs of Arabic-speaking communities.

Abstract

The rofa' alif sign in Arabic grammar not only has a grammatical function, but also contains symbolic meaning that is relevant to leadership values. This research aims to analyze the correlation between the symbolism of Rofa' Alif and the principles of policy and firmness in Islamic leadership. The method used is a descriptive qualitative study with a semiotic approach, including analysis of the text of the Nahwu book, interpretation, as well as interviews with Arabic language experts and Islamic leadership figures. The research results show that the rofa' alif sign represents firmness of principles, which is reflected in the straight and upright form of the alif, as well as justice because its use is limited to certain grammatical structures. Apart from that, this symbol also depicts wisdom through contextual flexibility in its application. These findings indicate that rofa' alif can be used as a symbol to frame an ideal leadership model that integrates firmness and wisdom, in accordance with leadership values in Islam. This research contributes to a new understanding of the relationship between Arabic linguistics and leadership concepts, and offers a unique perspective for the development of cultural and linguistic values-based leadership theories.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pendidikan menuntut guru untuk mengembangkan kreativitas pedagogis dalam memanfaatkan media teks digital, khususnya pada pembelajaran qira’ah yang menekankan kemampuan memahami makna, struktur, dan konteks teks Arab. Meskipun berbagai penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman membaca, kajian yang menempatkan kreativitas guru sebagai faktor penentu efektivitasnya masih terbatas. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kreativitas guru, literasi digital, dan pemanfaatan media teks digital dalam penguatan keterampilan qira’ah melalui kajian pustaka Sistematic Literatur Review. Sumber literatur diperoleh dari database bereputasi seperti Scopus, Web of Science atau jurnal Sinta 1-2 dengan rentang tahun 2020–2025 dan dianalisis melalui pendekatan sintesis tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas guru berpengaruh signifikan dalam mengubah media digital dari sekadar alat bantu menjadi instrumen pedagogis yang interaktif, multimodal, dan kontekstual. Media teks digital terbukti memperkaya akses kosakata, meningkatkan keterlibatan membaca, dan memfasilitasi analisis linguistik berbasis hyperlink. Kajian ini merumuskan model konseptual empat komponen, desain teks digital kreatif, integrasi multimodal, aktivitas qira’ah interaktif, dan evaluasi literasi berbasis digital sebagai kerangka untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran qira’ah. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan pedagogi bahasa Arab di era digital.
