Abstract

The development of technology in education has encouraged schools to adopt digital learning as part of instructional innovation. However, challenges arise when school principals must multitask while ensuring the effectiveness of digital learning implementation. SDN 4 Banyuringin, Kendal Regency, serves as an example of a school that has successfully implemented digital learning management strategies despite these constraints. This study aims to analyze the strategies of a multitasking school principal in managing digital learning at SDN 4 Banyuringin, Kendal Regency. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital learning in this school has been effective and positively impacts student learning quality. This success is largely supported by a delegation strategy involving senior teachers who have undergone intensive digital training. These senior teachers serve as mentors for their colleagues, facilitating a smoother adoption of technology in the classroom. Additionally, the use of communication technology, support from the education department, infrastructure readiness, and periodic evaluations have further contributed to the program's success. Increased student engagement, improved comprehension of materials, and enhanced academic achievement serve as key indicators of effective digital learning implementation. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for other schools in developing effective digital learning management strategies.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in education has compelled schools to embrace digital learning as a vital instructional innovation. However, challenges emerge when school principals must manage multiple responsibilities while ensuring the effective implementation of digital learning. SDN 4 Banyuringin, Kendal Regency, exemplifies a school that has successfully implemented digital learning management strategies despite these constraints. This study, employing a qualitative method with a case study approach, analyzes the strategies of a multitasking school principal in managing digital learning at SDN 4 Banyuringin. Findings indicate that digital learning implementation at the school is effective, positively impacting student learning quality. This success is largely attributed to a delegation strategy involving senior teachers, who, after intensive digital training, serve as mentors to colleagues, facilitating smoother technology adoption. Additional contributing factors include the optimal use of communication technology, support from the education department, infrastructure readiness, and periodic evaluations. Key indicators of effective implementation are increased student engagement, improved material comprehension, and enhanced academic achievement. This study's findings offer a valuable reference for other schools aiming to develop effective digital learning management strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi internal pendidikan dasar di Kabupaten Kendal, khususnya terkait dengan angka mengulang kelas dan drop out. Meskipun secara administratif angka tersebut sangat rendah berkat kebijakan "semua siswa naik kelas" dan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan masih terdapat kasus-kasus siswa yang tidak naik kelas atau keluar dari sekolah akibat faktor non-akademik, seperti perilaku menyimpang, pelanggaran tata tertib, serta masalah sosial dan emosional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah di beberapa SD di Kabupaten Kendal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi internal tidak cukup diukur dari jumlah siswa yang naik kelas, tetapi juga harus memperhatikan kualitas pembelajaran dan dukungan terhadap kebutuhan individual siswa. Diperlukan upaya manajerial yang lebih responsif serta evaluasi kebijakan yang komprehensif agar efisiensi internal benar-benar mencerminkan kualitas pendidikan yang sesungguhnya.
