Abstract

This study explores students' perceptions of the implementation of the Guru Penggerak role at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture to enhance learning quality through transformative leadership. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, 150 purposively selected students participated as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlation tests. The findings reveal that most students have positive perceptions, particularly regarding learning innovation, communication, and inclusive leadership. However, perceptions vary depending on students’ involvement in programs led by the Guru Penggerak. This study's novelty lies in examining how educational innovation and school culture dynamics influence students' perceptions, an area rarely explored in the local context. The results provide valuable insights for policymakers to optimize the Guru Penggerak program in fostering inclusive and collaborative learning environments. Additionally, the findings offer practical implications for designing teacher training programs tailored to student needs.

Abstract

From an Islamic perspective, theoretical character education has actually existed since Islam was revealed in the world along with the sending of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. to improve or perfect human morals (character). Abstract

Islamic education, as a system that integrates scientific and religious aspects, plays a strategic role in nurturing the younger generation. This study aims to understand the dynamics of late adolescent development and to identify its implications for Islamic education approaches in the school environment. The research was conducted at SMK NU Buay Madang using a qualitative approach through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that late adolescents face identity crises, the influence of social media, and complex moral dilemmas. Islamic education is therefore required to develop dialogical, contextual, and spiritual approaches to effectively support the process of personality and religious formation in students. This study recommends the importance of mentoring programs, moral reinforcement, and religious activities that are relevant to the realities of adolescents.

Abstract

Complete basic immunization is a key strategy in strengthening children’s immunity, preventing the transmission of infectious diseases, and reducing morbidity and mortality. However, immunization coverage in Indonesia remains suboptimal, as evidenced by the large number of children who did not receive complete basic immunization between 2017 and 2021. In West Kalimantan, immunization coverage is still below the national target, with Pontianak City achieving only 55% of the 95% Universal Child Immunization (UCI) target and Kubu Raya Regency reaching 68.3% as of December 2023. This study aimed to analyze the effect of booklet media on husbands’ knowledge and support regarding basic immunization. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest format. The study involved 83 respondents selected through non-probability sampling. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t-test to assess differences before and after the intervention. The results showed a statistically significant increase in both knowledge and support among husbands after the booklet intervention (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that booklet-based education is effective in improving husbands’ understanding and involvement in supporting basic immunization. In conclusion, the use of booklet media significantly enhances husbands’ knowledge and support regarding complete basic immunization in the Kuala Mandor B Community Health Center area, Kubu Raya Regency.
