Abstract

This study investigates the influence of leadership, motivation, and work environment on company performance at PT PLN (Persero) Sektor Pembangkitan Belawan. Employing a quantitative associative approach, the research utilizes multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationships among variables. The population comprises 74 employees, with the entire population serving as the sample through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS software. The results reveal that leadership, motivation, and work environment each have a positive and significant effect on company performance, both partially and simultaneously. The regression equation derived is: Y = 3.203 + 0.275X₁ + 0.263X₂ + 0.197X₃. The model's Adjusted R² value is 0.619, indicating that 61.9% of the variance in company performance can be explained by the three independent variables. These findings underscore the critical role of human resource factors in enhancing organizational performance. The study contributes to the literature on organizational behavior and human resource management by highlighting the significance of leadership, motivation, and work environment in driving company performance. It also provides practical insights for managers aiming to improve organizational outcomes through strategic human resource interventions.

Abstract

Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the influence of profitability, asset structure, asset growth, and liquidity on capital structure in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period.Research Method: This research employs a quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained from annual financial reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression after conducting classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation). The final sample consists of 47 observational data points.Originality/Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in the simultaneous testing of four internal variables affecting capital structure within the post-pandemic context of the manufacturing sector. Previous studies mostly applied partial approaches or lacked sector-specific focus.Research Results: The results show that simultaneously, profitability, asset structure, asset growth, and liquidity influence capital structure by 44.3%. However, partially, only liquidity has a significant negative effect on capital structure. Profitability, asset structure, and asset growth have no significant effect.Implications: The findings indicate that liquidity plays a crucial role in determining corporate financing strategies in manufacturing firms. These insights are valuable for financial managers in formulating optimal capital structure policies and serve as references for investors and regulators in understanding the financial dynamics of the manufacturing sector
