Abstract

This research aims to explore the understanding of Christology in the daily lives of Christians in the modern era and its implications for faith growth. Within the context of pluralism, secularism, and technological advancement, the challenge is to uphold the authentic teachings of Christ. The research method employs a qualitative approach through literature study, in-depth interviews with theologians and congregants, and participatory observation in church activities. The findings reveal that a correct understanding of the person of Jesus Christ as both God and man is highly relevant in shaping the faith identity of Christians. Furthermore, the research illustrates how Christological teachings can be applied in everyday life, encouraging acts of love, integrity, and attention to social issues. Thus, Christology serves not only as a theological study but also as a practical guide for Christians to face contemporary challenges and effect positive change in society.

Abstract

Doctrine of the Holy Spirit, or Pneumatology, which is an integral part of Christian theology. The Holy Spirit acts as the third person in the Trinity, playing a significant role in the lives of believers. In the biblical context, the Holy Spirit is involved in creation, empowering Jesus, and being sent as a Helper to believers. The Pentecost event marks the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, equipping the church to fulfill God's mission. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit provides gifts to each believer, guides them in decision-making, and shapes Christian character in accordance with Christ's teachings. The intimate relationship between the Holy Spirit and believers includes presence, guidance, conviction, and empowerment for service. By understanding the role and work of the Holy Spirit, Christians are expected to live a life pleasing to God and become witnesses of Christ in the world.

This study aims to describe the implementation process of the Christian Religious Education teaching module with the topic "Human Life in God's Care" for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Palangka Raya. The focus of the activity was directed to determine the implementation of learning, student responses, and learning outcomes achieved through the biblical story approach, discussion, reflection, and creative poster-making projects. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and assessment of work results. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the teaching module went well and achieved the learning objectives. Students were able to understand the concept of God's care, relate God's word to personal life experiences, and demonstrate an attitude of gratitude through reflection and discussion. In addition, students produced a poster with the theme "God Cares for My Life" as a form of creative expression and the meaning of faith. Despite several obstacles such as limited time for the project and variations in student activity levels, learning remained effective and conducive. The assessment showed positive developments in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students.
