Abstract

Background: Compiled this research with the aim of describing and explaining the difficulties of students, especially UMS PGSD students in preparing learning media Method: This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research using the case study method tries to discuss as deeply as possible the subject you want to research, then describe it in more detail, by understanding as deeply as possible an individual, a group, or a phenomenon. This research is intended to provide a complete and in-depth view of the subject to be researched. Result: The results show that the learning media prepared by students have problems encountered. In fact, in the preparation of instructional media students are sometimes asked to compile in groups so that problems or obstacles faced by these students arise. This causes learning media to know the obstacles and how to overcome them. Implication: The implications of this study are learning by media in Indonesia should enrich the teachers' knowledge and insight related to learning medias. Novelty: The present study revealed the implementation of learning media and constraints in education.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe how teachers instill social norms to overcome and improve students' morals through Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) at Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari Elementary School. Methodology: This study uses a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach, combining observation and observation as data collection techniques to understand the role of teachers in instilling social norms in grade 4. Results: This study revealed that social norms are formed through collaborative learning and discussion activities, helping individuals understand the importance of social norms in everyday life. Factors that influence social norms in today's children are due to technological advances and the lack of parental roles in shaping children's characters. In instilling social norms, teachers provide varied learning and the important role of parents in shaping children's characters. Applications/Originality/Value: This study highlights the greater correlation between schools and parents which ensures good management in home and school environment in shaping the character and morals of students for the better.

Abstract

Pendidikan menjadi salah satu wahana dalam upaya menyiapkan dan mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kesiapan untuk menghadapi serta mengimbangi kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada pada diri siswa baik dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Problem Based Learning ialah suatu model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, berorientasi pada suatu masalah yang menjadikan permasalahan itu sebagai suatu acuan untuk peserta didik belajar menemukan solusi dari apa yang ada dikehidupannya secara nyata sehingga ia dapat memecahkan masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPAS materi peredaran darah kelas V di SDN Sidoharjo 1 Guntur Kabupaten Demak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen yaitu dengan cara memberikan perlakuan kegiatan dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pra- eksperimental dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes, Observasi, Dokumentasi, Wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebesar 21% hal tersebut diperkuat juga dengan hasil perhitungan uji t yang diperoleh t_hitungĀ  = 6,48746 dengan taraf signifikan 5% didapat nilai t_tabel = 1,725. Karena t_hitung(6,48746) t_tabel(1,725) maka hal ini menunjukan bahwa uji t pada hasil belajar aspek kognitif signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penggunaan model Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran IPAS materi peredaran darah kelas V SD Negeri Sidoharjo 1 Guntur Demak.
