Abstract

Permasalahan lingkungan akibat timbunan limbah seperti baglog jamur dan cangkang udang selama ini tidak dikelola dengan baik sehingga sangat perlu mendapat perhatian. Inovasi pupuk organik dari limbah baglog jamur dan cangkang udang menjadi solusi yang baik demi lingkungan yang sehat dan bersih demi terwujudnya green economy karena kedua limbah tersebut memiliki unsur hara yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman dan ramah lingkungan. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan informasi tentang potensi limbah baglog jamur dan cangkang udang sebagai bahan baku pupuk dan melakukan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik bagi kelompok tani (POKTAN) Gemah Ripah Majau. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu society parcipatory dan persuasive approach dengan tahapan yaitu melakukan sosialisasi potensi limbah baglog jamur dan cangkang udang sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik, melakukan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik padat, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan sosialisasi dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi dengan pemutaran video, pembagian fleyer maupun pemaparan melalui powerpoint. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan melalui praktek langsung membuat pupuk organik padat dengan menggunakan bahan baku limbah baglog jamur dan cangkang udang, kotoran kambing, EM4, gula aren air sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedural (SOP) pembuatan pupuk organik yang telah disiapkan tim pengabdi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan sosialisasi maupun pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan persentase sebesar 75% dan 65%. Environmental issues caused by the accumulation of waste, such as mushroom bags and shrimp shells, have not been properly managed and therefore require urgent attention. The innovation of organic fertilizer from mushroom bags and shrimp shells can be a good solution for a healthy and clean environment in order to achieve a green economy, as both waste materials contain nutrients needed by plants and are environmentally friendly. The objective of this community service project is to provide information on the potential of mushroom bags and shrimp shells waste as raw materials for fertilizer and to conduct training on organic fertilizer production for the Gemah Ripah Majau farmer group (POKTAN). The methods used in this project include society participatory and persuasive approaches, with stages including socialization on the potential of using mushroom bags and shrimp shells waste as raw materials for organic fertilizer, training on solid organic fertilizer production, mentoring, and evaluation.Socialization activities are conducted through the delivery of materials using video presentations, distribution of flyers, and presentations through PowerPoint. Training activities are carried out through direct practice in making solid organic fertilizers using raw materials such as mushroom waste bags, shrimp shells, goat manure, EM4, coconut sugar, and water according to the prepared standard operating procedure (SOP) for organic fertilizer production by the dedicated team. The evaluation results of socialization and training activities show an increase in percentage by 75% and 65% respectively.

Abstract

Melanin merupakan pigmen utama yang memiliki fungsi melindungi kulit dari kerusakan akibat paparan sinar ultraviolet. Sintesis melanin berlebih dapat menyebabkan terjadinya hiperpigmentasi. Kandungan utama dalam biji alpukat (Persea americana Mill) adalah katekin yang berpotensi sebagai inhibitor enzim tirosinase. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat formulasi sediaan serum ekstrak biji P.americana Mill dan mengetahui bagaimana aktivitas penghambat enzim tirosinase. Sampel Biji P.americana di maserasi dengan etanol 70%. Diformulasi dengan tiga formula yaitu F0 sebagai basis, F1 formula dengan 50x nilai antioksidan, dan F2 formula dengan 100x nilai antioksidan. Uji stabilitas sediaan dilakukan selama 28 hari uji stabilitas sediaan meliputi uji organoleptis, viskositas, pH, daya sebar, dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan %rendemen ekstrak sebesar 13,168%. Hasil skrining fitokimia ekstrak Biji P. americana mengandung flavonoid, tanin, saponin, steroid dan alkaloid. Ekstrak biji P. americana memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 22,26 ppm. Pengujian stabilitas sediaan serum ekstrak biji P. americana memiliki stabilitas yang baik. Aktivitas inhibisi enzim tirosinase F0, F1, F2 dan serum komersial memiliki nilai IC50 masing-masing sebesar 3274, 3585, 2809 dan 2165 ppm. Aktivitas inhibisi enzim tirosinase sediaan serum ekstrak biji P. americana mempunyai nilai IC50 yang paling baik berada pada sediaan serum dengan formula 100x nilai antioksidan. Kata Kunci: Alpukat, Antioksidan, Hiperpigmentasi, Serum, Tirosinase  Melanin is the main pigment that has the main function of protecting the skin from damage due to ultraviolet exposure, excess melanin synthesis can lead to the occurrence of hyperpigmentation. The main ingredients in Avocado Seeds (Persea americana Mill) are catechins which have potential as tyrosinase enzyme inhibitors. The aim in this study was to create a formulation of P. americana Mill seed extract serum preparation and to find out how tyrosinase enzyme inhibitor activity in P. americana seed extract serum preparations. A sample of P. americana seed was macerated with 70% ethanol. It is then formulated with three formulas namely F0 as the base, F1 formula with 50x the antioxidant value, and F2 formula with 100x the antioxidant value. A preparation stability test was performed over a 28-day preparation stability test covering organoleptic, viscosity, pH, dispersibility, and homogeneity assays. The tyrosinase enzyme inhibition assay was analyzed in vitro. Results of phytochemical screening of P. americana seed extract contain flavonoid group compounds, tannins, saponins, steroids and alkaloids. P. americana Seed Extract has an IC50 value of 22.26 ppm. Stability testing of serum preparation P. americana Seed extract has good stability. The inhibitory activity of tyrosinase enzyme F0, F1, F2 and commercial serum had IC50 values of 3274, 3585, 2809 and 2165 ppm respectively. The inhibitory activity of tyrosinase enzyme of serum preparation of P. americana seed extract had the best IC50 value in serum preparation with formula 100x antioxidant value.

Abstract

Ectoparasites of domestic cats (Felis catus) are of both veterinary and public health concern due to their role as zoonotic agents and disease vectors. This study investigated the diversity, infestation intensity, and prevalence of ectoparasites in domestic cats from Cisata District, Pandeglang, Banten, Indonesia. A total of 824 ectoparasites were collected from 37 cats captured in three villages. Morphological identification revealed three species: Felicola subrostratus, Ctenocephalides felis, and Haemaphysalis sp. Overall infestation intensity and prevalence were categorized as moderate, except for C. felis in male cats (light infestation) and F. subrostratus in females (common prevalence). These findings emphasize the need for preventive and control measures to reduce the zoonotic risks associated with feline ectoparasites.
