Abstract

Immunomodulators are substances acting as stimulants or suppressants against the immune system, either to specific or non-specific activity. The non-specific through the production of leukocytes as the first response in fighting against an attacking antigen. Meanwhile, the specific, hrough recognition of antigens by lymphocytes during reattack. This research aimed to determine the immunomodulatory activity of the extracts combination nanoparticles of Allium sativum, Curcuma mangga, and Acorus calamus on the leukocyte profile of mice. This study used 5 treatments and 6 repetitions. The treatment groups were K- (untreated group), P1 (extracts combination nanoparticle dose of 25 mg/kg), P2 (extracts combination nanoparticle dose of 50 mg / kg), P3 (subur kandungan herbal medicine dose of 75 mg / kg), and P4 (Clomiphene citrate dose of 0.9 mg / kgBW). The parameters used included the total number of leukocytes and their differential value. The data that met the parametric assumptions, such as normally distributed and homogeneous were examined using the One Way ANOVA test, and when there was a significant difference, it was processed with the Duncan assessment. While those that did not meet the assumptions were evaluated using a non-parametric analysis. The statistical results showed that administration of extracts combination nanoparticles of A. sativum, C. mangga, and A. calamus at doses of 25 mg/kg and 50 mg/kg were able to suppress the inflammatory reaction by decreasing the total number of leukocytes. However, the differential leukocyte count was able to maintained or modulate immune system, indicating by the percentage of neutrophil, basophil, and eosinophil in the normal range. At a dose of 50 mg/kg, decreased the percentage of lymphocytes, while for monocytes, all dosage ranges were able to increase their number.

Abstract

Cookies are a dry snack that has several flavors to choose from, from savory to sweet. This snack is usually served at big holiday celebrations such as Eid al-Fitr, Christmas, Chinese New Year and New Year. Indonesia, with a majority Muslim population, makes the pastry business a business that has good prospects. Community service partners, in this case students from the Development Economics study program, saw this prospect and started starting a dry cake business. The dry cake business he started started with the production of pineapple cakes and was offered through word of mouth. The market segment targeted is the lower middle segment. With the scope of marketing being limited to college friends and neighbors in the village where the partners live. The community service team saw that the partner's dry cake business startup had prospects for further development. The first thing the service team did was discuss with partners to identify problems found in their start-up business. From the problems identified, solutions are then planned. The results of the service activities include producing a logo design for the packaging label that is more attractive than previously not having a packaging label, the packaging used is more attractive, marketing has been expanded by utilizing social media Instagram, and product quality is better by using quality ingredients and delicious taste. more delicious.

Abstract

Sanitasi yang layak merupakan salah satu faktor penentu Kesehatan. Pengabdian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan dampak dari intervensi sanitasi melalui pembuatan jamban sehat di RA YPSM Bulupasar, Kediri. Kegiatan dilakukan sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif dalam menanamkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) sejak dini. Metode pengabdian meliputi tahap observasi kondisi awal sanitasi, perencanaan teknis pembuatan jamban, pelaksanaan pembangunan jamban sehat sesuai standar, serta edukasi kepada guru, orang tua, dan peserta didik tentang pentingnya sanitasi dan perilaku higienis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyediaan sarana jamban sehat tidak hanya meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, tetapi juga mendorong anak untuk mulai mengenal dan menerapkan kebiasaan hidup sehat. Intervensi ini membuktikan bahwa penyediaan fasilitas dasar yang memadai di lembaga PAUD dapat menjadi media pembelajaran efektif untuk membentuk karakter anak yang peduli kesehatan sejak usia dini
