Abstract

This article analyzes the strategies of political parties in Indonesia in responding to climate change issues through a green politics approach. The research was conducted using a qualitative method based on literature studies and document analysis of manifestos, campaign programs, and party statements ahead of the 2024 General Election. The results show that although environmental issues have begun to be included in the political agenda, their implementation tends to be symbolic and inconsistent. Factors such as the influence of economic elites, weak public pressure, and minimal ecological literacy also hamper the implementation of progressive policies. To strengthen green politics, internal party reform and active community participation are needed in monitoring and promoting the environmental agenda in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought innovations in higher education systems, including in microbiology education that demands conceptual understanding and independent skills. This article aims to systematically examine the influence of Smart Learning Environment (SLE), e-learning platforms, and wearable technologies on improving the learning independence of microbiology students. Through a literature study of various national and international scientific articles, it was found that the three technologies complement each other in creating an adaptive, interactive, and personalized learning ecosystem. SLE provides a data-based and artificial intelligence-based learning environment, e-learning platforms provide flexibility of access and multimedia content, while wearable technologies support real-time monitoring and feedback on learning. These findings provide a strong conceptual foundation for developing a digital learning model that encourages student learning autonomy in the field of microbiology. This article also formulates a hypothetical direction for further research based on educational technology in the life sciences.

Abstract

Biofilms are essential in modern biological wastewater treatment systems due to their unique structural and functional capabilities. This systematic review explores the role of biofilms in enhancing the efficiency of wastewater treatment, focusing on design considerations and microbial interactions. The review compiles and synthesizes data from recent studies to understand how biofilms contribute to pollutant removal, operational stability, and energy efficiency. Key findings indicate that biofilm-based systems, such as trickling filters, rotating biological contactors (RBC), and membrane bioreactors (MBR), offer superior contaminant degradation due to high microbial density and resilience. The study highlights future opportunities for optimizing biofilm engineering to meet environmental and regulatory challenges.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven a major transformation in accounting practices, especially through the integration of blockchain technology and accounting information systems (AIS). This literature study aims to examine how the implementation of both technologies contributes to improving the financial efficiency of companies. Using a literature review method of articles published between 2018 and 2025, it was found that blockchain offers high transparency, reliability, and security of financial data, while AIS supports the acceleration of reporting and decision-making processes. The combination of the two has been proven to reduce transaction costs, accelerate internal audits, and improve reporting accuracy. Although its implementation still faces a number of challenges such as initial costs and technological readiness, the long-term benefits obtained make this integration a potential strategy to significantly improve financial efficiency. This study emphasizes the importance of managerial support and organizational readiness in adopting digital transformation as a whole.
