Abstract

Pendataan merupakan aktifitas yang penting sebagai sarana dalam mendokumentasikan peminjaman barang yang terdapat di Universitas XYZ. Proses pendataan yang masih menggunakan metode manual yang memerlukan proses yang panjang dan lama. Prosesnya adalah pihak peminjam yang diharuskan untuk membawa surat permohonan peminjaman barang kepada BAU, yang nantinya akan dicatat oleh pihak BAU, lalu setelah itu pihak BAU akan memberikan konfirmasi kepada pihak peminjam. Belum lagi dalam pelaksanaannya, ada kemungkinan petugas BAU lupa dalam proses transaksi dengan pihak peminjam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang database peminjaman barang di Universitas XYZ yang nantinya sistem ini dapat diterapkan di BAU dan dapat menggantikan metode manual yang ada dan memudahkan dalam peminjaman barang. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan database ini adalah DBLC. Hasil akhir penelitian ini dapat merancang sebuah database yang dapat diterapkan dalam proses peminjaman barang di Universitas XYZ sehingga lebih mudah, cepat, dan terstruktur.

Abstract

Cryptography is widely used to secure data and information so that it is not easily misused by parties who are not interested in the data. One type of cryptographic algorithm is Caesar Cipher and Vigenere Cipher. Both of these algorithms are classic cryptographic algorithms that need to be modified so that they become more optimal in the data security process. The first modification is to modify the Vigenere key using Fibonacci. In general, Vigenere Cipher will repeat the same keyword to complete the number of characters that are lacking so that the number of characters is the same as the number of characters in the plaintext. The second modification is to change or convert plaintext letters into ASCII letters so that the code is more difficult to solve. After the ASCII conversion process is done, the next results will be converted back in Hexa letters. In addition to the two modifications made, the steganography technique is also added by hiding the code behind the media in the form of images. Images that are sampled will be renamed and stored in different places.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by the pancreas that does not produce enough insulin, so the body works to be disturbed. But by knowing the symptoms that exist, prevention of diabetes mellitus disease can be done as early as possible with the help of expert systems.One method of expert system used to diagnose symptoms of Diabetes Mellitus is Certainty Factor. The process undertaken in this research starts from literature studies, system design, system implementation and the last is testing the system. In the system design process is done by designing the database required by the expert system and also design the system interface design. After the design process is done then the next step is to implement the design into an expert system application. By using this method, the system gives results of possible symptoms experienced, presentation of beliefs, and treatment solutions based on the facts and the value of confidence given by users in filling out questions that have been given by the system.The results of this system are used to help medical personnel and patients in order to identify the symptoms of diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Assistant forum is one of the organizations under the direct guidance of University AMIKOM Yogyakarta, which serves as a forum for practicum assistants. Practical assistant or lab assistant in charge of assisting lecturers in lecture activities. The assistants are active college students and have passed the selection. At the end of each semester an evaluation is held to make it better in the future as well as giving awards to assistants. The awarding of course is a selection process. Therefore a system is needed that can help provide recommendations in accordance with previously determined criteria. In a decision support system there are various methods that can be used, one of them is the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. The process is done by entering assistant data into this method. Then do the calculation by determining the weight of each criterion. The results of this study to test the method that will be applied to this model so that it has accuracy that can be used as a reference in helping to determine the best assistant with ranking.Keywords: Decision Support System, Analytical Hierarchy Process, Recommendation

Abstract

This study developed a vehicle counting system based on vehicle types using the YOLO algorithm in real-time. With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, particularly in computer vision, outdoor media has also advanced through the computation of CCTV image results installed on such media. The significance of this research is found in its ability to provide accurate and real-time traffic data that can be utilized by local governments, traffic management companies, property developers, and advertising companies for traffic planning, security, and marketing analysis. The research method involved training the YOLOv9 model and centroid-based tracking on a dataset that included four vehicle classes: car, motorcycle, bus, and truck. The results showed that the developed system could detect and track vehicles with high accuracy, achieving a mAP of 0.9, precision of 0.909, recall of 0.828, and an F1-Score of 0.867. However, the system's performance heavily depends on the hardware specifications used, and the detection for motorcycles has lower evaluation scores compared to other vehicle types. This study indicates that improving hardware specifications and optimizing the model can enhance system performance. These findings are important as they reveal the considerable potential of using the YOLO algorithm in real-time traffic monitoring applications.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a prototype for monitoring temperature and humidity in rice storage facilities based on the Internet of Things (IoT), focusing on monitoring the environmental conditions of the storage area and the rice itself. The system conducts real-time monitoring of temperature, room humidity, and rice humidity. This prototype is equipped with humidity sensors that are directly installed inside the rice stacks within the sacks to monitor the condition of the rice directly. Data collected by the sensors will be sent to an ESP32 microcontroller for analysis and displayed via an LCD or a website. Thus, this research contributes to the development of advanced technology to improve the quality and efficiency of rice storage in the agricultural context, as well as to strengthen the application of IoT in the fields of agriculture and Informatics Engineering. The results of this study are expected to help farmers and storage managers maintain rice quality, reduce losses due to suboptimal storage conditions, and provide insights for better storage management. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan prototipe pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan pada tempat penyimpanan gabah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang fokus pada monitoring kondisi lingkungan penyimpanan dan gabah itu sendiri. Sistem melakukan pemantauan secara real-time terhadap suhu, kelembapan ruangan, dan kelembapan gabah. Prototipe ini dilengkapi dengan sensor kelembapan yang dipasang langsung di dalam tumpukan gabah pada karung untuk memonitor kondisi gabah secara langsung. Data yang dikumpulkan oleh sensor akan dikirimkan ke mikrokontroller esp32 untuk dianalisis dan ditampilkan melalui LCD maupun website. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi canggih untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi penyimpanan gabah dalam konteks pertanian, serta memperkuat aplikasi IoT dalam bidang pertanian dan teknik informatika. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu petani dan pengelola tempat penyimpanan dalam menjaga kualitas gabah, mengurangi kerugian akibat kondisi penyimpanan yang tidak optimal, dan memberikan wawasan untuk pengelolaan penyimpanan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a crucial staple food, particularly in Indonesia, one of the largest rice-producing countries. Proper storage of rice grains is essential to maintain their quality and quantity. This research aims to develop a smart rice grain storage prototype based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity in real-time. The method used is Design-Based Research (DBR), involving six stages: focus, understanding, definition, conception, creation, and testing. The prototype utilizes DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity, LDR sensors for light intensity, and soil moisture sensors, all integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller. Data collected from the sensors are sent to a cloud-based platform for analysis and early warnings if storage conditions are unsuitable. The results indicate that the prototype effectively monitors storage conditions and provides accurate data. System testing shows that all components function according to specifications. This prototype helps maintain grain quality and reduce damage risk during storage. The use of IoT in grain storage enhances efficiency and reduces farmers' costs. Future research should focus on developing more advanced prototypes with automatic control features and mobile application integration.

Abstract

Management information system (MIS) data protection is critical and cannot be ignored, especially considering the increasing number of cyber threats and data leaks that can harm organizations. This journal discusses various data protection methods that can be used in MIS, with special emphasis on risk analysis and good implementation. In this research, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the various threats faced by management information systems, including threats from cyberattacks, human error, and technological vulnerabilities. We also identify the components that contribute to those risks and how they impact data integrity and confidentiality. We do this using a case study approach and qualitative data collection. Additionally, the journal offers various solutions for mitigation, such as implementing strict access controls, data encryption, and security training for users. We also emphasize how important it is to have a clear information security policy and disaster recovery procedures to ensure continued operations. This research aims to assist organizations in strengthening their management information systems by providing practical, evidence-based recommendations for implementing data protection strategies. It is hoped that the results will serve as a guide for stakeholders in designing and implementing effective data protection strategies, which will increase trust and security in data management in the digital era.

Abstract

Clothing is not only a basic necessity in everyday life, but also has a deep meaning. Apart from showing social identity and beliefs, clothes are also a reflection of the lifestyle of each wearer. The increasing demand for clothing has given rise to a lot of business competition. Filoshop is a clothing store that offers various clothing models in various clothing styles, especially men, such as t-shirts, jackets, shirts, trousers and others. Every month, Filoshop has many customers so its sales increase significantly which of course affects stock inventory. Stock procurement is often not seen from the fact that many items were sold several months ago, the owner restocks items randomly and not on target so that a lot of old stock of goods is not immediately sold. This research aims to assess and recommend stocks of goods that are selling well. This research uses a decision support system (DSS) based on the SAW method to select the optimal alternative. The methodology applied is qualitative, with data collection techniques involving direct interviews and face-to-face dialogue with sources. The criteria used in determining stock recommendations for this item are price, sales, profit. Then the data is input into the website-based system to carry out calculations by calculating the weight value. So the result obtained is that the FLSHP Striped Short T-Shirt is the highest ranking with a preference value of 1. This means that the system can help in recommending the best-selling stock items at filoshop. ABSTRAKPakaian bukan hanya kebutuhan utama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tetapi juga memiliki makna mendalam. Selain menunjukkan identitas sosial dan keyakinan, pakaian juga menjadi cerminan dari gaya hidup setiap pemakainya. Meningkatnya jumlah permintaan terhadap pakaian memunculkan banyak persaingan bisnis. Filoshop merupakan toko pakaian yang menawarkan beragam model pakaian dalam berbagai gaya pakaian khususnya pria, seperti kaos, jaket, kemeja, celana dan lainnya. Dalam setiap bulannya, Filoshop memiliki banyak pelanggan sehingga penjualannya meningkat secara signifikan yang tentunya mempengaruhi persediaan stok barang. Pengadaan stok sering kali tidak dilihat dari banyak barang terjual beberapa bulan berjalan sebelumnya, pemilik mere-stok barang secara acak dan tidak tepat sasaran sehingga banyak stok barang lama tidak segera terjual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan merekomendasikan stok barang yang laris terjual. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) berbasis metode SAW untuk memilih alternatif yang optimal. Metodologi yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang melibatkan wawancara langsung dan dialog tatap muka dengan narasumber. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penentuan rekomendasi stok barang ini adalah harga, penjualan, laba. Kemudian data tersebut diinput kedalam sistem berbasis website untuk melakukan perhitungan dengan menghitung nilai bobotnya. Maka didapatkan hasil yakni Kaos Pendek Strip FLSHP menjadi ranking tertinggi dengan preferensi nilai sebesar 1. Dengan ini diketahui sistem dapat membantu dalam merekomendasikan stok barang terlaris di filoshop.
