Abstract

Physics is one of the subjects considered heavy and avoided by some students, which is very challenging, frustrating, perseverance, perseverance, thoroughness and lots of practice so that in reality, not many students like physics. This study aims to determine the differences and the relationship between students' attitudes and self-efficacy in learning science. This type of research is quantitative with a comparative type. The number of respondents used as a sample is 74 students. The data collection technique used simple random sampling. The study results using the T-test showed significant differences in students' attitudes and self-efficacy in science lessons, both female and male students in grade 8A and grade 8B. The correlation test results between students' attitudes and self-efficacy towards science subjects in grade 8A showed that the second variable (attitude and self-efficacy) was related. Moreover, the correlation test results in class 8B showed that the two variables (attitude and self-efficacy) were related. The urgency of this research is that teachers can find out the differences in attitudes and self-efficacy between male and female students. Compared to previous research, the novelty of this study is to use Attitude and self-efficacy variables, with different indicators from previous studies.

Abstract

There are still many students who have difficulty learning mathematics. It is because students feel that learning mathematics is complicated. This problem has an impact on low student learning outcomes. One way to make it easier for students to learn is to use an appropriate learning model. This study aims to compare and correlate student response variables in the student team achievement division learning model of block and cube material and student process skills. This type of research is quantitative experimental research by comparing four classes using process skills variables and student responses to student team learning outcomes. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 144 students from a population of two public elementary schools and two Islamic elementary schools. The technique used to collect data is a questionnaire. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis used was quantitative with the help of SPSS 25 statistics to find descriptive statistics, test assumptions, and test hypotheses. Based on the t-test, it is known that there are significant differences in students' process skills in each school and student responses to the Student team achievement division learning model on the volume of blocks and cubes in each school. Based on the correlation test, there is a relationship between students' process skills on student responses with the student learning model of team achievement division on the material of volume of blocks and cubes between schools.

Abstract

This study aims to identify students' needs for learning media in the form of physics learning videos that are needed and needed by students, especially on momentum and impulse material. This research is a quantitative study with a sample of class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi who have studied the momentum and impulse material and the research population, namely all students at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. The research data was obtained from filling out the students' needs questionnaire results sheet for the required learning media. The results of filling out the students' needs questionnaire sheet show that in learning physics they have not used learning media in the teaching and learning process, so that learning is not conveyed in detail, both in terms of material and visualization, and students need learning media that is able to explain learning material in detail, and provide solutions in explaining learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a prototype for monitoring temperature and humidity in rice storage facilities based on the Internet of Things (IoT), focusing on monitoring the environmental conditions of the storage area and the rice itself. The system conducts real-time monitoring of temperature, room humidity, and rice humidity. This prototype is equipped with humidity sensors that are directly installed inside the rice stacks within the sacks to monitor the condition of the rice directly. Data collected by the sensors will be sent to an ESP32 microcontroller for analysis and displayed via an LCD or a website. Thus, this research contributes to the development of advanced technology to improve the quality and efficiency of rice storage in the agricultural context, as well as to strengthen the application of IoT in the fields of agriculture and Informatics Engineering. The results of this study are expected to help farmers and storage managers maintain rice quality, reduce losses due to suboptimal storage conditions, and provide insights for better storage management. Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a crucial staple food, particularly in Indonesia, one of the largest rice-producing countries. Proper storage of rice grains is essential to maintain their quality and quantity. This research aims to develop a smart rice grain storage prototype based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that can monitor temperature, humidity, and light intensity in real-time. The method used is Design-Based Research (DBR), involving six stages: focus, understanding, definition, conception, creation, and testing. The prototype utilizes DHT22 sensors for temperature and humidity, LDR sensors for light intensity, and soil moisture sensors, all integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller. Data collected from the sensors are sent to a cloud-based platform for analysis and early warnings if storage conditions are unsuitable. The results indicate that the prototype effectively monitors storage conditions and provides accurate data. System testing shows that all components function according to specifications. This prototype helps maintain grain quality and reduce damage risk during storage. The use of IoT in grain storage enhances efficiency and reduces farmers' costs. Future research should focus on developing more advanced prototypes with automatic control features and mobile application integration.

Abstract

The government issued Presidential Regulation Number 99 of 2020 concerning Vaccine Procurement and Implementation of Vaccination in the Context of Handling the Covid 19 Pandemic. From this regulation, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia created a communication strategy to increase the trust and participation of health workers and the public in the free vaccination program in stages. This study aims to explain the government's communication strategy in implementing the COVID-19 vaccination in Jayawijaya Regency from the perspective of Harrold D. Lasswell. The research method uses a qualitative approach. The theory used to analyze the communication strategy is the theory of Harrol D. Lasswell. The results of the study showed that the Jayawijaya Regency Health Office's communication strategy was by the phenomena that existed in society, but the implementation and the target of vaccination were not optimal. This can be seen from the results of the study which showed that Who? (who/communicator) in the socialization of vaccination, there are still figures who reject or do not support the vaccination, Say What? (Message) The amount of irresponsible information related to vaccination is spreading among the community, and there is a lack of correct information related to vaccination.

Abstract

This research serves as a reference for teachers to implement problem-based learning models on analytical thinking skills and science process skills in mathematics subjects. This research examines the differences and relationships between students' analytical thinking skills and science process skills with problem-based learning models in mathematics. The sample of this research consisted of 180 students. This research is a quantitative study with a questionnaire as the instrument. The obtained data were analyzed using the t-test and correlation test. The results showed a significant difference between analytical thinking skills and students' science process skills, especially on the indicators of Observation and Classification at SMPN 35 Batanghari and SMPN 8 Batanghari students who applied the problem-based learning model in mathematics. Furthermore, it was found that there was a relationship between analytical thinking skills and science process skills because students with analytical thinking skills possessed better science process skills in problem-based learning models in mathematics subjects.
