Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan sebagai pengembangan permainan ular tangga dalam mata pelajaran IPAS, khususnya materi energi di kelas IV SD Annur Yapis Kota Sorong . Dari hasil observasi dan wawancara bersama wali kelas IV didapatkan rendah nya ketertarikan siswa untuk belajar di dalam kelas, dengan adanya media ular tangga turut serta dalam peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 17 orang siswa. Peneliti mengembangkan penelitian ini mengunakan tahapan metode Research and Developmet (R&D) pada model ASSURE. Temuan kajian ini membuktikan validasi ahli media dan materi bahwa media pembelajaran ular tangga mendapatkan rata-rata nilai validasi sebesar 92,5% (kategori sangat valid). Validator ahli media memberikan nilai 95% dan validator ahli materi memberikan nilai 90%, sehingga penerapan media tersebut dinilai layak dipakai oleh siswa. Uji coba kepraktisan media ular tangga dinilai dari angket respons guru dan respons siswa terhadap pengembangan media ular tangga dengan memperoleh persentase dari guru sebanyak 87,5% dan siswa sebanyak 96,2% yang sama-sama termasuk kedalam kategori sangat praktis, maka nilai rata-ratanya adalah 91,85%. Penilaian kepraktisan media ular tangga diambil dari hasil skor respons guru dan siswa sebanyak 91,85% atau kategori sangat praktis. Kesimpulannya yaitu media pengembangan ular tangga dikatakan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas IV SD Annur Yapis Kota Sorong.

Abstract

The aim of this research is the role of language in strengthening the character of class II students at Guppi Islamic Elementary School, Sorong City. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews and literature study. Data analysis techniques in this research include data collection, data display, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that 1) The role of language is proven to be very significant in forming the character of class II students at GUPPI Islamic Elementary School, Sorong City. The use of polite and structured language in learning not only improves students' communication skills, but also forms better personalities, 2) 2. The school's efforts to optimize the role of language have been carried out systematically through various programs such as "Polite Language", "Literacy Corner" , and teacher training, and 3) The main challenges faced in implementing character strengthening programs through language include gaps in language skills between students, the influence of social media, and inconsistencies in language use between the school and home environments. In conclusion, the role of language is effective in strengthening the character of class II students at Guppi Islamic Elementary School, Sorong City.
