Abstract

Asset management requires a special method for its implementation so that the management information system can run optimally. The goal is for the system to be developed in the form of web-based software in an effort to optimize asset tracking at private Islamic religious colleges. The Analytical Hierarchy Process offers an alternative priority scale that will facilitate the decision-making process. This study will use a qualitative approach with the Research and Development method as a strategic step. The research object was conducted in two places, namely Hasyim Asy'ari University and the Bani Fattah Islamic Institute, Jombang. The results of the study show that both universities currently still rely on a manual system using Excel which is inadequate in terms of classification and automation. Hasyim Asy'ari University has a more structured approach to asset classification, while the Bani Fattah Islamic Institute, Jombang has not implemented systematic asset categorization. The four main stages in asset management are planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Both universities face challenges in organizing and implementing asset management because there is no special information system. In addition, the evaluation process is carried out manually through periodic inventory checks, thus limiting efficiency in decision-making. This study proposes the development of a structured web-based asset management system with a clear framework for system design, implementation, and testing. The integration of Waterfall and AHP methodologies is expected to improve efficiency, data organization, and decision-making in asset management. This study contributes to this field by offering a strategic approach to move from a manual asset management system to an automated asset management system, which ensures better resource utilization and administrative efficiency.

Abstract

The existence of Islam as a religion, clean from all forms of coercion, including embracing religion, is shaken by the concept of fiqh, which punishes death for apostasy. In addition, the law is claimed to be part of the ijma 'ulama. This journal attempts to unravel the death penalty polemic using Shaykh Ali Jumah’s approach. The research model used in this study is based on a qualitative literature review. The results of this study indicate that the death penalty for apostasy is not based on a person's attitude toward choosing to leave Islam. However, other attitudes carry the consequences of death, such as ḥirabah (fighting Muslims) and/or the betrayal of Islam (mufāriq lil jamā'ah). In this case, the claim of ijma deserves to be doubted if one sees a motive for leaving Islam simply because of disbelief. This was because the two procedures were performed by Rasulullah SAW. ever ordered his companions to kill the perpetrators of apostasy, not solely for the motives of kufr. Instead, there is a form of betrayal. In addition, ijma’s claim regarding the consequences of death for apostates is strongly suspected to apply the pattern of saddan li al-dzariah or saddan li al-bab. This is meant to close the door to the opportunity for religion to be harmed by apostates.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse human resource management in improving the quality of education at SDN Jambean 1. The background of this study is the important role of human resource management in determining the quality of educational institutions, especially at the primary school level, which is the initial foundation for the formation of students' character and knowledge. The quality of education is strongly influenced by the effectiveness of the management of teaching and education personnel. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis used includes data reduction, display, and data verification. The theory used is Desler’s HR implementation, which includes several aspects, including recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, and compensation. The results showed that: 1) Recruitment is carried out through stages such as announcements, initial selection, interview tests, and moral and spiritual assessments including religious moderation; 2) Selection of prospective teachers and staff follows government and internal school policy procedures, including the appointment of honorary staff to overcome the shortage of civil servants; 3) Performance appraisals focus on intention, responsibility, integrity and seriousness at work; 4) Compensation is designed with the principle of fairness, guaranteeing rewards commensurate with individual contributions to education and school management. The implications of this study show that systematic and value-based human resource management can sustainably improve the quality of education. These findings can serve as a reference for other schools in designing effective HR management policies, as well as encouraging the formulation of educational regulations that are more adaptive to the needs of educators in the field.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the fact that educational strategies in Indonesia are generally still mass-oriented, treating all students’ potential as the same, despite individual differences in learning styles, skills, intelligence, interests, and talents. MAN PK MAN 4 Jombang, as a leading Islamic educational institution, has demonstrated the ability to produce high-quality graduates who achieve academically and non-academically, many of whom continue their studies at prestigious universities domestically and abroad. This research aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Education teachers to improve students' achievements, focusing on learning objectives, approaches, methods, and success criteria. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured by observation persistence and triangulation. The findings reveal: (1) The learning objective is to enable students to master subject matter and become intellectual scholars with strong knowledge and application skills. Teachers determine objectives based on students’ competencies and integrate intra-curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. (2) The approaches vary according to material and student characteristics, including role modeling, inquiry, constructivism, behaviorism, technology-based, scientific, and inclusive methods. (3) Teaching methods combine lectures, discussions, demonstrations, collaboration, storytelling, and reward-giving, supported by techniques like group work, projects, and presentations. The teaching process consists of an introduction, core activities, and a closing. (4) Academic achievement is assessed through report card scores, while non-academic evaluation is informal, considering student manners, competition achievements, personal development, and learning behavior.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the challenges and responses of pesantren in the information age. It starts from the assumption of pesantren as a subculture that filters out various external elements that seem more dominant to ensure the integrity of Islam. This character is the reason why pesantren can exist for a very long time. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the digital divide among santri at Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School. The method used is a mixed method with a Sequential Explanatory approach. The sample was taken from 100 santri at Al-Falah Ploso Islamic Boarding School, selected using a systematic random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study show that the digital divide experienced by santri is a gap in the stage of physical and material access, santri skills in operating gadgets, and the use of the gadgets themselves. Pesantren today also experiences cultural backwardness. This can be seen from the complexity of pesantren responses to the internet and the flow of digitalisation of pesantren that is not going well.

Abstract

Abstract: Tingkeban is a traditional Javanese ceremony associated with the age of the baby seven months in them womb. The Tingkeban ceremony at seven months of pregnancy is the last ceremony before childbirth, in which prayers are offered for the safety and normal delivery of mother and child. "Mitoni" is another name for the Tingkeban tradition which comes from the word "pitu" meaning "seven", another name for the Tingkeban tradition. This traditional ceremony aims to celebrate seven months of pregnancy. Tingkeban in Javanese culture is an ancient custom that is passed down from one generation to the next. Tingkeban, a tradition popular among Javanese people, has strong and deep Islamic values. In the tradition, Islamic values are clearly visible in various aspects. Firstly, there is a joint prayer led by an ustadz or kiaiKiyai. This prayer invokes God's protection for the mother and child, as well as a smooth delivery process. Secondly, the tradition reflects the Islamic principle of gratitude, where families express their gratitude to God for the blessing of pregnancy. This research aims to find out the tradition of tingkeban in Ngampel Village, Mojoroto Kec, Kediri City. The method used is a qualitative method through field observations and interviews with several local communities, with residents of Ngampel Village, Kediri City as the research subject.
