Abstract

Abstract This research discusses the concept of muhkam and mutasyabih verses in the Qur'an and the attitude of scholars towards these two types of verses. The muhkam verse, which has a clear and unequivocal meaning, serves as the main guideline in religious practice, while the mutasyabih verse, which contains ambiguity, requires deep interpretation and understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature analysis to explore the views of scholars regarding the importance of both types of verses in the context of Islamic law and education. The results of the study show that a proper understanding of the muhkam and mutasyabih verses is very important to avoid misunderstandings in the interpretation of Islamic teachings. Scholars have a variety of approaches to interpreting these verses, from those that are receptive without further interpretation to those that encourage critical analysis. This finding emphasizes the need for awareness among Muslims to understand the context and meaning of the verses of the Quran in order to practice religious teachings correctly.. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic errors in the writing of students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program. Language errors in Arabic academic writing by students are a significant challenge in advanced Arabic language learning.  The method used is qualitative analysis with a descriptive approach, based on the corpus of student writing data in the writing skills course. The results of the study showed that syntactic errors were the most dominant (37.5%), followed by morphological (29.2%), phonological (16.7%), and semantic (16.7%). The main causal factors include mother tongue interference, the use of literal machine translators, low understanding of Arabic grammar rules, and minimal contextual practice. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need for an integrative and communicative learning approach, with an emphasis on authentic text-based exercises, contrastive analysis strategies, and the use of interactive learning media to improve students' linguistic accuracy in writing Arabic academic texts.

Abstract

This study presents a literature review on the development of a Nahwu learning model using chart media in Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools. The main problem is the difficulty students face in understanding i’rab and Arabic grammar rules through traditional methods such as lectures and memorization. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of chart media as a visual tool that simplifies complex grammatical concepts, evaluate the challenges and opportunities in its implementation, and formulate theoretical and practical contributions to improve Nahwu learning. A systematic review approach was used to review national and international journal articles published over the last 5–15 years. The findings of this study indicate that chart media promotes better conceptual understanding, increases student engagement, and provides pedagogical innovations relevant to the pesantren context. This study concludes that the chart-based model has a significant impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) pada anak usia dini melalui kajian literatur sistematis terhadap publikasi ilmiah tahun 2018–2024. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan menelusuri artikel pada data dasar Scopus, Web of Science, dan SINTA, menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan literatur sistematis dengan model PRISMA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan STEAM-Islam memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, serta kesadaran spiritual anak usia dini. Integrasi nilai Islam meliputi tiga aspek utama: penguatan akidah melalui eksplorasi ilmiah terhadap ciptaan Allah, penanaman akhlak melalui kolaborasi proyek berbasis sains, dan pembentukan spiritualitas melalui refleksi ilmiah terhadap fenomena alam. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan STEAM-Islam berpotensi menjadi model pembelajaran holistik dan kontekstual dalam membentuk karakter ilmiah dan religius anak muslim. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis STEAM-Islam di lembaga PAUD.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of TikTok-based Arabic language learning media on students’ learning interest at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Sunanul Huda Natar. In the digital age, traditional learning methods are often perceived as monotonous and unengaging, particularly in subjects considered difficult, such as Arabic. TikTok, a popular video-sharing platform among students, offers short, visually appealing, and interactive educational content. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Fifteen eighth-grade students were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with the Sign Test through SPSS 16.0. The results indicate that the use of TikTok significantly increased students' interest in learning Arabic. Eleven students (73%) showed improved learning interest after using TikTok, while only three students experienced a decrease, and one remained unchanged. These findings suggest that TikTok, when utilized effectively, can enhance students’ motivation, engagement, and enjoyment in Arabic learning. The study concludes that integrating popular social media platforms like TikTok into instructional strategies can offer a more relatable, flexible, and impactful learning experience for Generation Z learners, particularly in language acquisition

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Islamic education through the integration of local wisdom in Lampung within the multicultural suburban context of MA Sunanul Huda Natar. Using a qualitative design, the study explores how the values of piil pesenggiri specifically nemui nyimah and sakai sambaian are integrated into the curriculum and practices of Islamic education. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate that the integration of local cultural values strengthens students' character formation, enhances contextual understanding of Islamic concepts, and fosters inclusive learning interactions across ethnic groups. Teachers and students demonstrated positive responses to culture-based learning, with increased engagement and relevance of learning activities. Furthermore, the study demonstrates that the multicultural environment of the suburban community supports the development of an adaptive and dialogical model of Islamic education. These results highlight the importance of local wisdom pedagogy as a cultural bridge connecting Islamic values with everyday social realities. This study suggests further exploration of local Islamic pedagogy and the broader application of culture-integrated learning across educational settings.
