This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design which is implemented in two cycles, which include the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 29 fourth-grade students. Data collection through observation and speaking performance tests. The results of the study showed an increase in students' speaking skills in each cycle, including aspects of fluency, intonation, vocabulary, expression, and courage to speak in front of the class. In addition, the use of Bugis folklore has been shown to increase students' motivation and self-confidence because the learning material is close to their socio-cultural life. Abstract

Students are expected to have a clear understanding of their interests and talents as a foundation for determining their career direction. This study aims to describe the role of career guidance and counseling services in helping students understand and develop their interests and talents. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, drawing on relevant national and international journal articles. The findings indicate that career guidance and counseling services play a significant role in helping students identify their potential through mentoring, interest and talent assessments, and the provision of educational and occupational information. Abstract

Career planning is a crucial indicator of life success, but many high school teenagers face obstacles, such as confusion and low self-understanding, when determining their future. This study aims to examine the influence of self-efficacy on career planning among high school students. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, synthesizing scientific literature from the years 2015-2025, accessed through academic databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect. The research findings indicate that self-efficacy has a positive and significant impact on career planning, as reported in various previous studies, with contributions ranging from 38.9% to 65.52%. Students with high self-efficacy demonstrate lower levels of career indecision and better job readiness, especially in the context of vocational education. Theoretically, these results reinforce the role of self-efficacy as the primary driver of exploring career options and setting challenging goals. The practical implications of this research emphasize that career guidance programs in schools should shift from merely providing job information to strengthening internal psychological factors through psychoeducational interventions and fostering a supportive learning culture. In conclusion, self-efficacy is a fundamental psychological foundation that enables students to plan and prepare themselves to face the workforce more maturely.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital media in enhancing student engagement and career readiness in career guidance and counseling services. This research employs a qualitative method based on a literature review. The literature used is derived from scientific journals and relevant articles discussing the utilization of digital technology in career guidance services. The data collection process involved a systematic search of Google Scholar using keywords aligned with the study's focus. The data were analyzed by identifying, classifying, and synthesizing the main themes that emerged from the systematically reviewed literature. The results indicate that the use of digital media, such as instructional videos, online service platforms, and game-based learning media, consistently increases student engagement, motivation, and active participation in career guidance services. The use of digital media facilitates easier access to information, offers flexibility in time and place, and creates a more interactive and engaging service environment. These conditions enable students to obtain broader, more in-depth career information, thereby supporting the tailored improvement of career readiness for each student's needs and characteristics. The use of digital media by school counselors can serve as an innovative and adaptive strategy to improve the quality of career guidance services in schools. The appropriate selection and use of digital media are expected to help students better prepare to meet the evolving dynamics and demands of the labor market.

Abstract

Digital education transformation requires elementary school teachers to possess digital literacy and computational thinking skills; however, teachers in remote areas are generally unfamiliar with the concept of unplugged coding. This community service (PKM) project aims to enhance teachers' understanding and skills in designing simple learning media without digital devices at SD Negeri 27 Paukiri, Pangkajene, and Kepulauan Regency. The method employed is a participatory approach involving training, demonstrations, practice, and mentoring, with qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results indicate a significant shift in teachers' perception that coding can be taught without computers, alongside an improvement in their skills in creating media from local materials. Implementation among students in grades I–VI also demonstrated high learning enthusiasm. It is concluded that unplugged coding is an effective and contextual solution for enhancing digital literacy in schools with limited facilities.
