Abstract

The Handicraft Training for santri at Dayah Misbahul Huda in Gampong Beusa Meurano, Peureulak Subdistrict, East Aceh Regency aims to enhance the skills, creativity, and economic independence of the santri through the creation of handcrafted products. This program is designed to introduce practical skills that support entrepreneurship and provide additional income sources for the students. The training methods used include lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluations. The results of this training show an improvement in basic handicraft skills, creativity in design, and an increased interest in entrepreneurship among participants. Additionally, the program opens up the potential for the establishment of craft-based businesses within the pesantren. This training contributes positively to the economic empowerment and independence of the santri, while enriching their experience in managing creative businesses.

Abstract

Learning media serves to convey subject matter so that it is easily understood by students. The success of the learning process is the main thing that is coveted in carrying out education in schools. The research objective is whether the use of Macromedia flash learning media is effective to improve student learning outcomes. The research method uses a quantitative approach, with the type of experimental research, the results of the research are for the experimental class there is an increase in learning outcomes, after being given treatment, namely the application of macromedia flash learning media, before treatment 8 students got the lowest score of 20 and the highest score of 3 students was 55 , whereas after being given treatment the student scores were above average while the control class showed that there was no significant change in student learning outcomes in the control class, the control class was a class that did not use macromedia flash learning media, so the results were very different from the experimental class. Then macromedia flash is one of the effective media that must be applied by the teacher. During the teaching and learning process The success of the teaching and learning process is supported by various parties in it, both students and teachers.

Abstract

Monthly and annual plans. The preparation contains the teaching objectives, the subject to be taught, the methods, materials, teaching aids and evaluation techniques used, therefore the teacher must understand correctly the objectives to be achieved, how to choose, determine and use teaching aids, how to make tests. and knowledge of evaluation tools. The research objectives to be obtained are: a) To reveal the application of Group Investigation Cooperative Type to mathematics learning outcomes. b) To reveal Cooperative Type Group Investigation on motivation to learn mathematics. This study used two rounds of action research. Each round consists of four stages: design, learning activities and observations, reflection and revision. The target of this research was students of class IX-1 MTsS Kampung Beusa, East Aceh District. The data obtained is in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, cycle I (64.29%), cycle II (90.47%). The conclusion from this study is that the application of Cooperative Group Investigation Type can have a positive effect on student achievement and motivation in class IX-1 MTsS Kampung Beusa and this learning model can be used as an alternative to learning mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) melalui pendekatan bimbingan dan pendampingan di MTsS KP. Beusa, Kabupaten Aceh Timur. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang masing-masing terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah delapan orang guru yang telah mengikuti sertifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam penyusunan KKM pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus pertama, beberapa guru belum mampu melengkapi seluruh komponen KKM, seperti kompleksitas, intek siswa, dan daya dukung. Namun, melalui proses refleksi dan bimbingan, terjadi peningkatan pada siklus kedua. Persentase kelengkapan komponen daya dukung meningkat dari 62% menjadi 100%, intek siswa dari 81% menjadi 94%, dan kompleksitas dari 81% menjadi 94%. Adapun komponen intek siswa pencapaian kompleksitas meningkat dari 56% menjadi 78%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan secara berkelanjutan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun KKM secara menyeluruh dan sesuai standar. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan pendekatan serupa dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru di MTsS KP. Beusa dalam menyusun Pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka melalui pendekatan Small Group Mentoring (SGM). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada periode Juli hingga September 2024, dengan melibatkan 12 orang guru dari tiga madrasah tersebut sebagai subjek penelitian. Prosedur penelitian terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. Data utama yang digunakan adalah produk guru berupa Pengembangan Kurikulum Merdeka, sedangkan data pendukung meliputi tingkat partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan respon guru terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, penilaian produk, dan angket, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menyajikan data secara naratif. Kesahihan analisis data dijamin dengan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada akhir siklus II: (1) rata-rata nilai Pengembangan Kurikulum yang dihasilkan oleh guru adalah 88,6; (2) 11 guru (100%) memperoleh nilai di atas 80; (3) partisipasi guru dalam kegiatan mencapai 90,9%; dan (4) 92,7% peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan Small Group Mentoring (SGM) secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru MTsS KP. Beusa dalam Menyusun Pengembangan Modul Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

The empowerment of santri at Dayah Bustanul Muhtadin aims to enhance their skills in data processing using Microsoft Excel, a crucial tool in today’s digital era. This skill is not only relevant in education but also in professional and managerial settings within the pesantren. The training program was conducted in several stages, including preparation, training, evaluation, and follow-up. The training began with an introduction to basic Excel usage, followed by lessons on formulas, charts, pivot tables, and Excel applications in pesantren administration. Evaluation was carried out through practical exams and feedback to assess the santri's understanding and application of skills. Results from the program showed a significant improvement in the santri's ability to use Excel, with over 80% of participants effectively utilizing various features. This skill improvement also positively impacted the efficiency of pesantren administration, such as managing financial data and attendance records. The program is expected to provide the santri with valuable digital skills, contributing to improved managerial quality within the pesantren. Overall, this initiative successfully empowered the santri and prepared them to face challenges in the digital and professional world.

Abstract

The Basic Literacy Movement was successfully conducted at Dayah Darut Thalibin, Gampong Pasir Putih, Peureulak Subdistrict, East Aceh Regency, from January 10 to 15, 2025. This program involved 10 beginner-level santri who initially had inadequate reading and writing skills. Based on the pre-test results, 60% of participants were classified as functionally illiterate, 30% could recognize letters but were not fluent in reading or writing, and 10% could read simple sentences but struggled with writing. The training employed a participatory and contextual approach rooted in religious teachings, utilizing interactive and hands-on methods such as reading daily prayers, short Qur’anic verses, and copying hadiths. The activities were conducted over six days in morning and afternoon sessions, supported by peer tutors and guidance from ustadz. Post-test results showed that 80% of the santri successfully achieved basic reading and writing skills, 10% showed limited progress, and 10% had no significant improvement. Overall, the program improved the santri’s literacy skills by 70%. Beyond technical skill development, the program fostered enthusiasm for learning and increased self-confidence among the santri, motivating the dayah to continue and expand the literacy program sustainably. This initiative demonstrates that literacy education is most effective when tailored to the participants’ context and needs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategic management of non-formal education development at the Community Learning Center (PKBM) Cerdas Mandiri. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the development of non-formal education at PKBM Cerdas Mandiri is carried out through five stages of strategic management: planning, internal and external environmental analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and supervision. The main strategies applied include online learning, community-based programs, free education, and socialization and promotion efforts. The implementation of these strategies demonstrates the institution’s commitment to expanding access, improving quality, and aligning education with community needs. Evaluation and supervision are conducted continuously through academic supervision, monitoring of community-based programs, and oversight of free education initiatives. In conclusion, strategic management at PKBM Cerdas Mandiri is implemented in a directed, participatory, and adaptive manner, enabling the institution to effectively develop non-formal education that is relevant to contemporary demands and community needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore students’ mathematical communication barriers through the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model at MTsS Kampung Beusa . The research employed a qualitative descriptive method involving 25 students of class VII during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through mathematical communication tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share model effectively improved students’ mathematical communication skills. Before applying TPS, students tended to face barriers such as difficulty expressing ideas, lack of confidence, and limited use of mathematical symbols and representations. After implementing the TPS model, students demonstrated significant improvement, with the average score increasing from 65.4 (fair) to 79.6 (good), indicating an average gain of 14.2 points. The stages of think, pair, and share allowed students to think independently, discuss collaboratively, and share ideas confidently in class. This process not only enhanced communication ability but also strengthened reasoning, cooperation, and self-confidence. Therefore, the Think Pair Share model can be considered an effective approach to minimize communication barriers and foster students’ active participation in mathematics learning.
