Abstract

The development of promotional media has now entered the digital era that can communicate promotions more widely and quickly. In Indonesia, the phenomenon of online media that is anticipated to replace print media also continues to increase. As done by the New Student Admissions Team (PMB) of Merdeka Madiun University in accepting new students, they provide information about many things, such as registration procedures, achievements, and what can be obtained when registering for the campus. Various methods used by them, one of which is by conveying information through advertisements. Through this advertisement, the PMB Team promotes the university to the public. The purpose of making the advertisement is so that the public obtains information and is interested in following and trying what is advertised, namely doing or registering themselves related to what is being advertised. Advertisements use language that is easy to understand and persuasive to attract people who see it. In addition, advertisements are made using video and sound visualizations that are packaged very attractively according to the target market to be achieved, namely prospective new students who are included in generation Z and generation alpha.

Abstract

This study examines the comparison of authority between the Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KY) and the Consiglio Superiore della Magistratura (CSM) of Italy in maintaining judicial independence and accountability. KY is primarily responsible for overseeing the ethics and conduct of judges and proposing the appointment of Supreme Court justices. However, its authority is limited, as the final decision regarding disciplinary sanctions against judges remains with the Supreme Court. In contrast, the CSM of Italy holds broader powers, including the appointment, promotion, transfer, and disciplinary actions of judges, making it more effective in ensuring an independent and accountable judiciary. This study employs normative legal research with a comparative approach, analyzing primary data in the form of legislation and court decisions, as well as secondary data from legal literature and journals. The findings indicate that the CSM system is more effective in safeguarding judicial independence and accountability than KY Indonesia. Therefore, Indonesia can learn from the CSM's practices to strengthen KY's role and authority in enhancing the integrity and independence of the judiciary in Indonesia.

Abstract

Global economic uncertainty caused by financial crises, geopolitical shifts, and market fluctuations has a significant impact on the stability of the banking system. This study aims to analyze the resilience of commercial banks in Indonesia in responding to these external pressures by examining factors that influence financial performance and credit risk. The research employs a quantitative descriptive analysis with a population consisting of 105 commercial banks operating in Indonesia. The findings indicate that risk management plays a crucial role in identifying, measuring, and managing risks associated with global economic uncertainty. Banks must maintain a strong commitment to credit quality, including credit portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and the management of non-performing loans (NPLs). Credit portfolio diversification is essential for reducing exposure to specific credit risks and enhancing income stability. Ensuring adequate liquidity is also vital to cope with potential liquidity pressures arising from uncertain conditions. Moreover, increasing investment in technology and innovation is necessary to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and develop new products that meet changing market demands. Compliance with evolving regulations related to global economic uncertainty is important to ensure adherence to applicable legal requirements. Transparent communication with stakeholders including customers, investors, and regulators is needed to build trust and strengthen relationships. The significant growth in third-party funds (DPK) indicates that banks can effectively attract public deposits, which can be utilized to support economic activities through lending. Therefore, strong DPK growth serves as a positive indicator of the intermediation function of conventional commercial banks and contributes substantially to overall economic growth.

Abstract

Koperasi Desa atau Kelurahan Merah Putih (KD atau KMP) di Kabupaten Madiun menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan organisasi dan keberlanjutan usaha akibat rendahnya kapasitas pengurus, lemahnya pemahaman regulasi, serta minimnya inovasi. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh praktik pemilihan pengurus yang sering mengutamakan sosok populer daripada kompetensi, sehingga diperlukan intervensi pembinaan yang terstruktur. Tujuan  kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengurus KD atau KMP dalam pemahaman prinsip koperasi dan regulasi, memperkuat kemampuan inovasi dan adaptasi usaha, serta mendorong mekanisme kepengurusan yang berbasis kompetensi, profesionalisme, integritas, dan akuntabilitas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan pelatihan interaktif, diskusi kelompok terfokus, studi kasus, simulasi administrasi koperasi, serta evaluasi pre‑post test dan observasi lapangan; pendampingan teknis dan konsultasi diberikan untuk memperkuat penerapan materi di unit koperasi peserta. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengungkap tiga kendala utama, yakni pemahaman dasar koperasi yang masih minim, keterbatasan pengetahuan terhadap regulasi, dan kurangnya inovasi disertai praktik seleksi pengurus berdasarkan sosok bukan kompetensi. Meskipun terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada peserta, penerapan praktik manajerial dan inovasi masih memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan dasar pengurus tentang prinsip koperasi dan regulasi, menyediakan kerangka kerja awal untuk penyusunan standar operasional prosedur dan job description, serta memicu diskusi tentang reformasi mekanisme seleksi pengurus dan pentingnya inovasi sebagai strategi keberlanjutan koperasi di tingkat lokal. Disarankan untuk diadakan pelaksanaan pendampingan berkelanjutan, program mentoring untuk implementasi inovasi usaha, pembentukan komite pengawas independen, serta dukungan untuk penerapan mekanisme seleksi berbasis kompetensi dan monitoring‑evaluasi berkala agar perubahan kapasitas berlanjut menjadi praktik organisasi yang nyata.

Abstract

This study examines the innovative Trans Jatim bus service corridor 5 in promoting mobility and local economic growth in Bangkalan Regency. This topic is important considering the role of public transportation in supporting inter-regional connectivity and impacting the strengthening of the local economy. This study examines the contribution of innovative bus services to public mobility and regional economic growth. The novelty of this research lies in its approach that not only views transportation as a means of mobility but also as a strategic instrument of economic development, which has not been studied in depth in the context of Bangkalan Regency. This research method is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach and analyzed using Rogers' diffusion of innovation theory. The findings show that Trans Jatim bus services provide affordable, accessible, and modern facilities that have been positively evaluated by the public. Through Rogers' diffusion of innovation theory, the process of adopting this service involves the stages of knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. Most people accept this innovation due to cost and time efficiency, although there is resistance from traditional transportation drivers who are economically impacted. The success of this service improves the local economy and spurs sustainable innovation for the welfare of the people of Bangkalan Regency.
