Learning geography still tends to use the lecture method. These learning conditions will result in not creating conducive learning and will have an impact on learning outcomes. Learning is a form of interaction between individuals and their environment so that they provide a lot of experience from real situations. The curriculum is a means to achieve the desired educational program. The solution that can be done is to apply the Grassroot curriculum system by developing teaching materials for the total learning experience model. Research by developing Research and Development (R & D) using the Dick & Carey model. The results obtained are that the development of the total learning experience model has high and efficient quality and legibility.

There are still many students who are less motivated to do the assignments given when studying theory and practicum, both those given in class and those that are used as homework. The learning process will be more optimal if we can take advantage of the media around us. The purpose of this research is the use of outdoor study methods or methods outside the lecture room can increase student interest in attending lectures so that the objectives of the lecture can be achieved. The method in this study using classroom action research was carried out in 3 (two) cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings, each meeting time of 3 x 55 minutes. The population in the study of the Senior High School 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The research sample was in classes XII IPS 3 and XI IPS 4. The results showed that the outdoor study method was successful in increasing interest in learning, as seen by students being more enthusiastic in learning, more efficient, and effective, especially in geography.

The purpose of writing this article is to explain the influence of the application of the Exo Olo Task learning model with the Case method (CM) to Improve students' high-level thinking skills on the material distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia and the world. Where the Exo Olo Task Learning Model with Case method is in line with the 2013 curriculum which applies student-centered learning. The distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia and the World studied by students in high school class XI is included in the scope of physical geography. The research method in this study is a literature study with sources from various articles through searches on the internet and supported by related books. This writing obtained the results that the Exo Olo Task Learning Model with the Case method can improve students' high-level thinking skills. So, the Exo Olo Task Learning Model Method with the Case method can be applied in geography learning in high school. The role of the teacher is needed in the implementation of the Exo Olo Task Learning Model with the Case method as a facilitator of student learning.

Tigo Lurah sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Solok Regency. This sub-district is the most underdeveloped sub-district among other sub-districts in Solok Regency. Some of the reasons why Kec. Tigo Lurah left behind can be seen from the access road, road network, and internet network. These things also have an impact on the education process in Tigo Lurah, especially SMA 1 Tigo Lurah. SMA 1 Tigo Lurah is the only small school in the Tigo Lurah area. This school is supported by four SMA and one MTSS. Although supported by these five schools, less than 70 students are studying at SMA 1 Tigo Lurah. This happens because of the large number of students who study in Vocational Schools and Madrasah in Solok City. SMA 1 Tigo Lurah only has students from two villages, namely Nagari Batu bajanjang and Nagari Rangkiang Luluih. The distance factor is the main thing that makes three Nagari such as Garabak Data, Smanau, and Sumiso reluctant to attend SMA 1 Tigo Lurah. In addition to the problem of the lack of interest in students to study at SMA 1 Tigo Lurah. Schools also face opposition from students who lack learning activities and learning outcomes. The majority of these students only follow the learning process just to play (fill spare time) and there is no motivation to learn. To overcome this problem the author uses a learning model that the author designed himself, namely Map-Q Based on the results of research conducted by the author, it can be concluded that: a. Learning activities using the map-Q model have increased by 16.3% while learning outcomes have increased by 28.3%.

The use of ICT-based learning media provides great benefits for the success of the learning process in the classroom. One of the media that is widely used today is Microsoft Sway which is one of the features of Microsoft 365. The use of this media is considered to be quite influential in the learning outcomes of students. This research was conducted to 1) determine the effect of using Microsoft Sway media on students' learning interest in Geography subjects at SMA 2 West Sumatra; 2) determine the effect of using Microsoft Sway media on students' learning creativity in Geography subjects at SMA 2 West Sumatra; and 3) Knowing the effect of using Microsoft Sway media on student learning outcomes in Geography subjects at SMA 2 West Sumatra.

This research was conducted to see the trend of the development of residential areas in the City of Bukittinggi using remote sensing methods. This technique is considered important and effective in providing spatial information on the earth's surface quickly, precisely and easily. This study aims to classify land use for residential areas using Landsat 8 OLI (Operational Land Imaginer) imagery. In this study, the maximum likelihood classification (MLC) method was used. The research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach, namely using numerical data, analysis, interpretation and presenting data in numerical form for sampling in identifying the results of land use for settlements in the City of Bukittinggi. The research results have changed in the last 5 years, it was found that there was an increase in residential areas of 7.92 ha in 2016 and 2021 using Landsat imagery. The results of the research in the form of a map are land use maps in the City of Bukittinggi to see the distribution of residential areas.

Information on land cover is needed in various sectors including management and resources which can be obtained through data processing using remote sensing satellite imagery. This research was conducted in Lubuk Kilangan District using Landsat 9 imagery, with the aim of (1) knowing the land cover classification using the random forest method, (2) knowing the land cover classification using the maximum likelihood classification method, and (3) knowing the best method for obtaining land cover information based on the accuracy value between the random forest method and the maximum likelihood classification. The method used is a comparative quantitative method by comparing the random forest method and the maximum likelihood classification of land cover in Lubuk Kilangan District. This study performs classification accuracy test calculations using Kappa with the help of a confusion matrix. The results of the study obtained 13 land cover classes from were found from taking training samples showing (1) the random forest land cover classification method was able to classify images properly. This is proven by findings in the field where 86% of pixels are classified correctly. Meanwhile, (2) the maximum likelihood classification method of land cover classification is not able to classify images properly. This is proven by findings in the field where 55% of pixels are classified correctly. (3) the Kappa accuracy value found for the random forest method is 0.81, while the maximum likelihood classification method is 0.51. This shows that the random forest method is better at obtaining information on the land cover than the maximum likelihood classification method.
