Abstract

This research aims to look at the Strategy of the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism in Improving the Tourism Zone, the information obtained from the original source is all parties who know about the subject to be studied in the form of words or activities from informants with the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The research results state that the system of the Division of Youth, Sports and Tourism in the Development of Travel Industrial Areas is still not ideal. (1) Accessibility of human resources at the Youth, Sports and Tourism Office of Bontang City has so far not been increased in number. (2) Limited assets for fostering the tourism travel industry in Bontang City are not many, so travel industry goods are also limited. (3) The current framework for vacation spots in Bontang City must actually be shifted. Especially those related to offices and important frameworks needed by guests such as electricity, latrines, clean water, housing, and others. (4) The technique used in creating a tourism travel industry in Bontang City is to make the closest guidelines or guidelines to the tourism travel industry. The real fix includes working on basic frameworks and offices. organized a Travel Industry Mindfulness Training which was attended by the Taman City community, travel business people and several travel industry Alert Gathering (Pokdarwis) events.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the political strategy of independent candidates in the regional head elections in Samarinda City in 2020. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, and secondary data. The data collection technique uses a qualitative descriptive model put forward by Miles and Huberman. This research was conducted in Samarinda City. The research focus is product, promotion, place, price. The results of the study show that there are several strategic patterns used by independent candidates, namely the 4p, namely political product (Product), Promotion (Promotion), Place (Place), Price (Price). The first is a political product made by independent candidates to attract attention. from the people in political products there is a vision and mission as well as excellent programs that will be carried out if elected as regional heads. Many people who are quite interested in independent candidates can be seen from the independent candidates asking for support from the public until at the time of the vote count in the local elections where the independent candidates garnered 51,652 supports and when the elections were held the independent candidates managed to collect 98,245 votes. They also carried out promotions for Attracting public attention, there are several methods used by independent candidates, namely using billboards, banners, online media, and face to face places. Independent candidates visit people in traditional markets to ask for support, and for budget prices provided by independent candidates Rp. 667,000,000 consisting of independent candidates' personal funds of Rp. 560,000,000 and donations from other parties of Rp. 107,000,000.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the efforts made by the Samarinda City Tourism Office in fostering the creative economy in the cultural village of Pampang. With a research focus, namely the development of the creative economy and the sape' music festival. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research which conducts analysis through primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of documents related to the problems studied and this research goes directly to the field of research through observation, interviews and documentation to research sites in the Pampang Culture Village, Samarinda. The results of this study show how the efforts of the Samarinda city tourism office have formed pokdarwis (tourism awareness groups), provided coaching funds to several creative economy actors and repaired damaged facilities in the Pampang Culture village. The tourism office in this case also carries out sape' music festival activities and provides the tools and materials needed for these activities. Factors that are hindering the efforts of the tourism office in developing the creative economy at this time, namely the limited budget in implementing all programs, the readiness of the community that is not optimal and the limited facilities that make the tourism office help to improve it. In this case, good cooperation between the government and the community is needed in building and promoting the Pampang cultural village and there needs to be initiation from the community to hold more creative activities to attract visitors.
