Abstract

The language structure in the Qur'an has more advantages when compared to Arabic structures in general. This structure is a means of distinguishing from ordinary Arabic which gives rise to the meaning of majaz (in the science of bayan). The language style displayed in the Qur'an is also different from the language style of ordinary expressions. This is all part of the excellence (I'jaz) of the Qur'an. This problem is at least reflected in various opinions which state that the language of the Qur'an has advantages, uniqueness, beauty, and distinctiveness that are different from languages other than the Qur'an. By looking at the language and literature in the Qur'an, in this journal the author will discuss the forms of sentences used to describe something. These sentences are not ordinary sentences (based on language structure alone), but sentences that come out of the structure or language used in communication. As for what is included in this discussion, the author limits it to a few aspects, such as al-Taqdîm wa al-Ta'khîr, Tasybîh, Isti'ârah and Kinâyah especially in verses about heaven. The method used in writing this journal is descriptive analysis method. Data collection in this study was carried out by reviewing or exploring several journals, books and documents (both printed and electronic) as well as other sources of data or information deemed relevant to research or study. al-Taqdîm wa al-Ta'khîr which aims to ikhtishash, Tasybîh which aims at parables, Isti'ârah which aims to borrow, meaning to use a pronunciation that is not in accordance with its original meaning, and Kinâyah which aims to explain something in other words or say with allusions or satire

Abstract

This study analyzes the educational significance of the Dalian Na Tolu tradition as a form of local wisdom in fostering youth character in Mandailing Natal. As a socio-cultural system that structures the relationships between mora (wife givers), kahanggi (patrilineal relatives), and anak boru (wife receivers), this tradition is transmitted across generations through customary practices and daily social interactions. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, participant observation, and document analysis in four villages: Panyabungan Julu, Tolang, Pagur, and Simpang Tolang. The findings reveal that Dalian Na Tolu plays a strategic role in instilling core character values such as respect, compassion, solidarity, mutual cooperation, and deliberation, which align with modern character education principles and Islamic teachings. Revitalization efforts are carried out through collaboration between traditional and religious leaders, youth activities under Naposo Nauli Bulung, cultural training, and daily practice. The study recommends integrating Dalian Na Tolu values into formal and non-formal education, as well as utilizing digital media to strengthen youth character development in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Man is a perfect being created by the Lord as a filling and casting agent to accomplish the task which he has been given. Human beings as caliph are so often misunderstood by most people. Most people misinterpret the concept of human caliph itself, assuming that man as a caliph is directed toward men as a woman.  Such efficiency would certainly violate the very definition of caliphate. Since the qur 'an and the mufastors were clearly not claimed that the caliph was directed to men only. We reflect to the qur 'an that in every verse it is mentioned, there is no reference to caliph towards men only, because all the caliph words that are in general meaning, do not point to a single gender.  From here it must be understood, that human beings as caliph are addressed to all male and female sexes. Because humans are defined by men and women. There's no text that humans are just men. It is this understanding that needs to be clarified and explained, as in this infamy will provide a description that man as the caliph is addressed to men and women.
