Abstract

This study examines the application of the One Day One Reading (ODOR) method in increasing the reading interest of grade 3 students at MI Azzainiyah II Karanganyar. The primary focus of this study is to explore the impact of daily reading activities carried out before lessons start, as well as the challenges faced while applying this method. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, data collected through interviews, class observations, and documentation analysis. The findings of the study show that although ODOR has succeeded in increasing students' interest in reading, time constraints and book diversity are important factors that affect the program's success. In addition, home environment support, such as the role of parents in accompanying reading activities, has also been proven to increase the success of ODOR. The implications of these findings provide important insights for developing more flexible and effective literacy programs at the elementary school level and improving understanding of the factors that influence students' reading habits.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and test the effectiveness of time management training in improving the quality of student learning at SMP Negeri 1 Proppo. The primary focus of the research is how time management techniques such as prioritization, scheduling, execution, and evaluation can help students manage their time more effectively and improve their academic performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. Data analysis was done using thematic analysis methods to identify the emerging main patterns and themes. The results show that time management training has a significant positive impact on students' ability to manage time and improve the quality of their learning. Students participating in the training feel more organized, focused, and productive in completing their tasks. These findings are in line with the theory of self-regulated learning and time management, which emphasizes the importance of self-regulation and efficient time allocation in achieving high academic achievement. This study implies that time management training programs should be integrated into school curricula to help students develop essential time management skills from an early age.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of peer interaction and Akidah Akhlak education on the religious character of students. With the increasing moral challenges adolescents face in the modern era, understanding the factors contributing to religious identity formation is crucial. Previous research has explored the role of social influences and religious education in shaping students' values. However, few studies have examined the combined impact of peer relationships and Akidah Akhlak subjects. This research uses a quantitative approach, employing a survey method with 60 randomly selected students to assess the effects of peer interaction and Akidah Akhlak education on religiosity. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between these variables. The findings reveal that peer interaction and Akidah Akhlak education have a significant positive effect on students' religiosity, with peer interaction showing a more substantial influence. These results highlight the importance of fostering a supportive social environment and integrating effective religious education to strengthen students' religious character. The study's implications suggest that combining social and educational factors can enhance religious development, offering valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to promote religious and moral values in schools.
