Abstract

Research instruments have a great influence on a research because that is where the truth of the research results lies. If the research instrument is wrong, it can be ascertained that the instrument cannot measure what should be measured. The instrument is useful for taking data from the research carried out. This study reviews valid and consistent and reliable instruments in providing research data related to students' environmental care attitudes which was developed consists of five indicators, namely: 1) Hard work to protect nature, 2) Initiative to protect the environment, 3) Respect for health and hygiene, 4) Wise in using natural resources and 5) Responsibility for the environment. The research methodology used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) research. To evaluate feasibility, a media feasibility tool was used to measure the efficacy of environmental care instruments, with melibatkan sampel 25 siswa. Penilaian ini dilakukan berdasarkan data ilmiah yang dikumpulkan melalui interaksi langsung dengan peserta. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS Versi 24.00 untuk validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa seluruh item kuesioner valid dan reliabel dengan nilai reliabilitas tinggi seluruh studi konstruk Cronbach Alpha (0,955 > 0,6). So, these figures provide information that this study has produced a quality instrument that can be used to evaluate students' attitudes to care for the environment in the teaching and learning process at Sd 032 Kualu.

Abstract

Civics Education (PKn) plays a strategic role in shaping students' character, particularly in terms of discipline and responsibility, which are currently key requirements for students' social development in the digital age. However, PKn teaching in elementary schools tends to be informative in nature, meaning that students lack direct experience in applying these values. This study aims to describe the implementation of project-based PKn learning as an effort to foster discipline and responsibility among students at SDIT AL Azhar Pekanbaru. The research approach uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through learning observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of project activities carried out in the PKn learning process. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that project-based civic education learning was able to improve student discipline through time management, commitment to work schedules, and completion of tasks according to deadlines, while responsibility grew through the division of group tasks, completion of individual parts, and active involvement until the final product of the project. In addition, project-based learning fosters motivation, cooperation, and active participation. Thus, this model is effective when applied in civic education learning to strengthen character building among students in elementary school.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang filsafat positivisme dan ilmu pengetahuan serta dampaknya terhadap sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Positivisme, sebagai salah satu aliran filsafat, sangat menekankan pada pentingnya observasi empiris dan data kuantitatif dalam memperoleh pengetahuan. Pendekatan ini memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kurikulum dan metode pengajaran di Indonesia. Artikel ini juga mengeksplorasi tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam penerapan positivisme dalam pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Adat istiadat budaya Melayu Riau merupakan bagian integral dari identitas budaya masyarakat di wilayah tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji berbagai aspek adat istiadat budaya Melayu Riau, termasuk pakaian adat, tarian tradisional, seni ukir, dan anyaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan wawancara mendalam dengan tokoh masyarakat setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakaian adat Melayu Riau, seperti baju kurung dan baju melayu, memiliki makna simbolis yang mendalam dan mencerminkan identitas budaya serta status sosial. Tarian tradisional, seperti tari zapin dan tari lancang, berperan penting dalam menjaga nilai-nilai moral dan etika dalam masyarakat. Seni ukir dan anyaman mencerminkan kreativitas dan keterampilan masyarakat Melayu Riau, serta memiliki nilai estetika dan budaya yang tinggi. Sistem kekerabatan dan pola sosial masyarakat Melayu Riau didasarkan pada nilai-nilai kebersamaan, saling menghormati, dan menjaga keharmonisan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adat istiadat budaya Melayu Riau memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam mempertahankan dan memperkuat identitas budaya masyarakat, serta pemeliharaan dan pelestarian budaya ini sangat penting untuk memastikan keberlangsungannya di masa depan.
