Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the concept of multicultural education, multicultural education for conflict resolution, the implementation of multicultural education in educational units, and the decision of the curriculum of multicultural education. This study uses a qualitative description method with the nature of research literature research. As a result of this study, people respect each other more because the concept of multicultural education aims to provide solutions and minimize conflicts caused by multidimensional and heterogeneous social situations. Can understand that respect unity and justice diversity context. Multicultural education basically exists to deal with conflict phenomena in multicultural societies. Multicultural education should be applied as soon as possible and also focus on the values that exist in society, rather than focusing solely on the knowledge aspect. The multicultural education curriculum needs to actually present important content that explains the perspectives of many people, based on the assumption that there is no unified interpretation of historical truth, emphasizing different cultural perspectives. Advocates the principles of unity and unity and provides an understanding of cultural differences.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a majority Muslim population in the world and has the potential to develop the halal industry, namely sharia tourism. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the regions that has its cultural wealth and nature by developing this potential as an increase in the regional economy, as well as increasing the halal score of the Indonesian industry for the world. Local governments made various efforts to improve services for tourists interested in sharia tourism, such as ACES (Access, Communication, Environment, and Services). This study uses a qualitative method by interviewing parties involved in the concept and implementation of sharia tourism in Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Tourism Office and Yogyakarta Indonesian Ulema Council) and also uses literature obtained from websites and books as the data used. The results found in this research are that halal or sharia tourism in Yogyakarta has been said to be advanced with the concept offered, following the Grand Design of Sharia Tourism Development by the National Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance. However, what is of concern to implementing the sharia tourism concept both in Yogyakarta and other areas is the extent to which the sharia concept is implemented correctly, namely by the religious foundation (Qur'an and Hadith).

Abstract

The current situation and condition of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the system of human life, especially in the education sector. Education that was initially carried out with a learning system in schools had to change to an online learning system. Online learning actually makes students or students experience a moral decline caused because educators cannot provide moral education directly. In the learning that is carried out, educators are more inclined to the success or achievement of subjects, resulting in the absence of moral education. This study aims to find out what moral education is, the urgency of post-pandemic moral education and an analysis of educators' challenges in moral improvement after the pandemic. In this research method uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The data obtained from this research is through reference books, journals, and previous research that has a relationship with what the author is doing

Abstract

The current globalization has also given rise to new leadership styles, including digital leadership. Digital leadership style is one alternative approach school principals use to improve the quality of learning by utilizing technological sophistication. This study aims to determine the strategy, implementation, and obstacles in the digital leadership of school principals to improve the quality of learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtqio' Malang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtiqo' Malang City. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that in his strategy, the principal sought to conduct technology-based learning media training for educators, seeking the ability of educators to utilize technology. The implementation is done by striving to learn using digital media, completing technology-related facilities, collaborating with various parties, and integrating technology into school administration. The obstacles are children's different backgrounds, conventional teaching, and internet network connectivity.

Abstract

Classroom action research is a teacher's effort to solve problems that arise in the classroom environment and as a means of assessing the learning process. This study aims to find out how the application of Sociodrama increases student learning motivation, as well as the results of the application of the Sociodrama method in increasing student learning motivation. Regarding the implementation of learning in the classroom, it is known that the daily test scores of the Islamic Cultural History subject are for 45 students, and for those who have fulfilled the KKM, as many as 21 students or 47.73%. Meanwhile, those who have not reached KKM are 23 students, or 52.27%. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted on grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Tebing Tinggi City for the 2023-2024 school year. The results of the study In the first cycle, the presentation of student learning activities at each meeting increased with an average student learning activity of 52.856%. This proves that the first cycle has not reached the expected target because learning will be declared successful if student activities reach the target of 80%. It is necessary to make improvements by continuing the second cycle of learning. In cycle II, the percentage of student learning activities at each meeting increased, averaging 74.285%. Thus, learning activities applying the Sociodrama as a learning method have reached the target with a success indicator of 80%. Therefore, there was an increase in learning motivation for grade VIII students in the Islamic Cultural History Subject.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the principals’ leadership of SMP Muhammadiyah in Wonosobo Regency in implementing transformational leadership. It is a survei research using mixed- methods research approach of qualitative and quantitative with the principals of SMP Muhammadiyah in Wonosobo Regency as research subjects. This research used data collecting technique of observation, questionnaire with likert scale model, and unstructured interview. The data were analyzed with the formula of simple percentage, then described, and strengthened with the results of the observation and unstructured interview. The result of the research showed that the transformational leadership of SMP Muhammadiyah principals in Wonosobo Regency belongs to moderate category (74%), with detail as follows (1) the charisma belongs to high category (76%), (2) the individual awareness belongs to moderate category (73%), (3) the intellectual stimulus belongs to moderate category (74%), (4) the individual inspiration belongs to moderate category (70%), (5) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Wonosobo belongs to high category (75.8%), (6) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Sapuran belongs to moderate category (62.1%), (7) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Leksono belongs to moderate category (63.1%), (8) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kertek belongs to moderate category (62.7%), (9) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Kaliwiro belongs to moderate category (63.5%), (10) ) the transformational leadership of the principal of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Tieng belongs to moderate category (60.6%).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Muhammadiyah Student Association of Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta High School (IPM Muhi) as a forum for Muhammadiyah regeneration in schools and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in carrying out its role. This research uses a case study approach with qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of the study showed that the Muhammadiyah Student Association Branch of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta has played a role as a forum for regeneration of Muhammadiyah in schools. This is realized in formal regeneration activities and non-formal regeneration. The activities are directed to 4 main themes of concentration, namely; 1) Peers, 2) Ecology, 3) Literacy, and 4) Entrepreneur. Supporting factors 1) The school provides support in the form of policies and conditioning of educators and teaching staff to participate in supporting the cadre program at school. 2) The school fully supports the funding of IPM Muhi activities. Inhibiting factors 1) low awareness of active participation by students in the activity program, 2) differences in understanding between the school and IPM Muhi administrators, 3) IPM Muhi administrators who psychologically do not fully understand their responsibilities in becoming administrators.

Abstract

Industry Revolution 4.0  happening today certainly has a huge impact on the educational leadership of school leaders, of course this must be addressed wisely by policy makers in the educational environment. Principals in the 21st century must of course be equipped with professional leadership so that it has an impact on improving the quality of educators. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of literature study, data obtained through various references to national, international journals and research results that have relevance to what the author did. The results of this study indicate that the leadership of school principals in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 must of course be professional and able to read the changes that occur because of the ideal leadership, namely leadership that follows technological developments. In addition, school principals also play a role in improving the quality of educators, there are several things that must be done by school principals in improving the quality of educators, namely the use of information technology, training, mentoring and guidance, discipline development and continuous supervision.Keywords: Principal Leadership, Educator Quality, Industrial Revolution 4.0Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang terjadi saat ini tentu memiliki dampak yang sangat besar terhadap kepemimpinan pendidikan para pemimpin sekolah, tentunya hal ini harus disikapi dengan bijak oleh para pembuat kebijakan di lingkungan pendidikan. Kepala sekolah di abad ke-21 tentunya harus dibekali dengan kepemimpinan yang profesional sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kepustakaan, data yang diperoleh melalui berbagai referensi jurnal nasional, internasional dan hasil penelitian yang memiliki relevansi dengan apa yang penulis lakukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di era Revolusi Industri 4.0 tentunya harus profesional dan mampu membaca perubahan yang terjadi karena kepemimpinan yang ideal, yaitu kepemimpinan yang mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Selain itu, Kepala Sekolah juga berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidik, ada beberapa hal yang harus dilakukan oleh Kepala Sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidik, yaitu penggunaan teknologi informasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan bimbingan, pengembangan disiplin dan pengawasan terus menerus.Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah,  Mutu Pendidik, Revolusi Industri 4.0

Abstract

This study entitled efforts to awareness of drug addicts through the value of religiosity in pondok tetirah dhikr Rehabilitation Center yogyakarta. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of religiosity in the rehabilitation of drug addicts, efforts made in regaining awareness of drug addicts, and to determine the inhibiting factors in regaining awareness of drug addicts. This study uses a qualitative approach using descriptive analysis, while the data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction methods, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The research result of this undergraduate thesis writing is that, in implementing the role of religiosity as an effort to rehabilitate, Pondok Tetirah Dzikir refers to regain awareness using the Inabah method or better known in the Tarekat Qadiriyah Naqsabandiyah (TQN). Apart from that, Pondok Tetirah Dzikir, in the implementation of its activities, in the form of a rehabilitation program, the students are taught and accustomed to discipline in worship, activity, and is qualified in the social field. The model used in Pondok Tetirah Dzikir rehabilitation center in coaching drug abusers is by carrying out Islamic methods, such as prayer, dzikir (remembering God), repentance bathing, and another coaching that can support the rehabilitation process. In addition, in implementing the program, there are several inhibiting factors, such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure, lack of support from the parents of students, and minimal government attention.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek yang sangat fundamental dalam pendidikan yakni kemampuan literasi, yang tidak hanya mencakup keterampilan membaca dan menulis tetapi juga kemampuan memahami dan menganalisis informasi secara kritis. Lietrasi merupakan kunci dalam mengembangkan keterampilan yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan kesuksesan di berbagai bidang kehidupan. Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan untuk siswa SD Aisyiyah Kalianda memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan berbagai metode serta menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik. Metode program pengabdian yang digunakan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi kepada peserta didik dan guru, implementasi program kegiatan lepada peserta didik, evaluasi yang dilakukan pada dua tahap dan tindak lanjut. Hasil pelaksanaan program pengabdian di SD Aisyiyah Kalianda menunjukkan hasil yang positif dan berdampak signifikan terhadap siswa dan lingkungan sekolah, para siswa lebih sering mengunjungi perpustakaan sekolah dan terlibat dalam berbagai kegiatan membaca Banyaknya siswa yang meminjam buku lebih dari satu judul dalam satu minggu serta meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan membaca bersama. Untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut, maka direkomendasikan kepada pihak sekolah untuk melakukan penyediaan akses sumber belajar digital seperti e-book atau platform lietasi online bagi seluruh siswa untuk mengatasi keterbatasan buku di perpustakaan. Selain itu, program yang berkelanjutan juga perlu dilakukan untuk mengenalkan variasi kegiatan literasi yang lebih menarik dan melibatkan banyak pihak termasuk masyarakat sekitar, sehingga menciptakan ekosistem literasi yang lebih luas. Mendorong peningkatan keterlibatan siswa dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan bagi seluruh siswa agar lebih aktif dalam mengelola perpustakaan. Melakukan evaluasi berkala untuk mengukur aktivitas program untuk pengembangan program di masa depan.
