Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 2 students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kasembon in mathematics lessons in increasing student activation, achievement, and learning completeness using digital media. The subjects of this research are grade 2 elementary school students. Research subjects are used to obtain data on the variables to be studied, so that research can achieve goals and produce quality content. The method used in collecting Digital Game Based Learning (DGBL) data taken during the learning process. The results showed a significant increase in student activeness and learning achievement after the application of digital media, with the level of activeness reaching 75% in the second cycle and the average student score exceeding the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). The use of digital media such as interactive videos and educational game applications proved effective in attracting interest in learning, increasing motivation, and helping to understand mathematical concepts. The application of digital media use of Digital Game Based Learning (DGBL) model can attract students' attention and interest in learning, especially mathematics.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of learning motivation, instructional methods, and the utilization of learning resources on student learning achievement in State High Schools and Catholic High Schools in Ainaro, Timor-Leste. The research employed a quantitative non-experimental design with a correlational approach. The population consisted of 1,558 students, and a sample of 94 respondents was determined using the Taro Yamane formula. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and observation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results reveal that learning motivation, instructional methods, and learning resource utilization each have a significant partial effect on student learning achievement. Among these variables, the utilization of learning resources shows the strongest influence. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect learning achievement, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.510, indicating that 51% of the variance in student performance is explained by the model. From a theoretical perspective, this study integrates the concepts of lifelong learning, innovative learning, and advanced learning, highlighting the importance of internal, pedagogical, and environmental factors in shaping educational outcomes. The findings suggest that improving student achievement requires a holistic approach that enhances motivation, promotes innovative teaching practices, and optimizes the use of learning resources.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with a majority Muslim population in the world and has the potential to develop the halal industry, namely sharia tourism. The Special Region of Yogyakarta is one of the regions that has its cultural wealth and nature by developing this potential as an increase in the regional economy, as well as increasing the halal score of the Indonesian industry for the world. Local governments made various efforts to improve services for tourists interested in sharia tourism, such as ACES (Access, Communication, Environment, and Services). This study uses a qualitative method by interviewing parties involved in the concept and implementation of sharia tourism in Yogyakarta (Yogyakarta Tourism Office and Yogyakarta Indonesian Ulema Council) and also uses literature obtained from websites and books as the data used. The results found in this research are that halal or sharia tourism in Yogyakarta has been said to be advanced with the concept offered, following the Grand Design of Sharia Tourism Development by the National Committee for Sharia Economics and Finance. However, what is of concern to implementing the sharia tourism concept both in Yogyakarta and other areas is the extent to which the sharia concept is implemented correctly, namely by the religious foundation (Qur'an and Hadith).
