Abstract

Desa Trotosari, Kabupaten Bondowoso, dihadapkan pada isu-isu sosial yang memerlukan perhatian serius, ditandai dengan indikasi kekerasan terhadap perempuan dan anak, tingginya angka perkawinan anak, serta masalah pekerja anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan Desa Ramah Perempuan dan Peduli Anak (DRPPA) sebagai respons terhadap kerentanan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan teknik Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), meliputi asesmen aset dan isu, mapping, dan diskusi. Hasil pengabdian mengidentifikasi empat isu mendasar yang menghambat terwujudnya DRPPA: pola asuh yang kurang optimal, ketiadaan inisiatif pembentukan organisasi anak, nihilnya regulasi desa spesifik, serta infrastruktur yang kurang inklusif. Sebagai solusi, diterapkan empat program strategis utama: (1) Edukasi melalui "Seminar Parenting"; (2) Kelembagaan dengan pembentukan Forum Anak Desa (FAD); (3) Kebijakan melalui penetapan Peraturan Desa (Perdes) DRPPA; dan (4) Infrastruktur berupa penyediaan plang layanan (SAPA 129). Simpulan utama adalah intervensi ini merupakan langkah awal yang strategis dan esensial dalam meletakkan fondasi DRPPA, diwujudkan melalui sinergi stakeholder yang berkomitmen untuk menciptakan lingkungan desa yang lebih aman dan sejahtera bagi perempuan dan anak.

Abstract

The article aims to examine the resilience and counter-hegemonic agency of women in Ambon, Indonesia, where communal violence continues to influence their power structures, exclusion, and survival following the conflict there. This study reveals how Ambonese women actively negotiate spaces of agency through strategies that challenge, subvert, and reframe patriarchal and sectarian discourses, while dominant narratives often depict women as passive victims of war or marginalizes in peacebuilding. By combining qualitative descriptive methods and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), the research reveals how women transform silence into resistance and vulnerability into resilience through in-depth interviews, life histories, and community observations. In this way, the article links these practices to the theoretical framework of Islamic feminism and Foucault's notion of discourse and power, suggesting that women's agency is not merely a matter of opposition; it involves intricate discussions with cultural, religious, and political structures. Studies indicate that women's efforts, which include grassroots peace activism and reinterpretations of piety and modesty, are counter-hegemonic practices that redefine gendered power relations in post-conflict societies. The inclusion of women's voices as central to sustainable peacebuilding ties the research to further discussions on feminist agency, post-conflict reconstruction, and the politics of resilience.

Abstract

Gosari Amusing Park (Wagos) is a natural tourism destination located in Gosari Village, Gresik Regency, Indonesia. This community-based research explores an approach that focuses on two crucial aspects: disaster preparedness and sustainable management in the context of village tourism. The primary objectives are to enhance awareness of natural disaster potentials in Wagos while preserving its existence and sustainability as a local entrepreneurship venture.Participatory action research is adopted in three stages in this mentoring program: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The engagement team, comprising academics, students, and the East Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), collaborates with local youth. They work alongside the head of Gosari Village to identify risk mitigation measures, including the installation of evacuation route signs.During the implementation stage, the activities include disaster awareness campaigns, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to identify vulnerable points, and the introduction of INARISK software along with evacuation simulations for the youth managing Wagos and the Toppi community.The evaluation stage emphasizes the importance of re-socialization by the youth to the local community, the installation of permanent evacuation signs, and impromptu simulations at tourist locations. The results show that the success of disaster risk mitigation heavily depends on community awareness and local entrepreneurship. Wagos, as a tourist village, has proven its existence through the creation of social values and effective promotional efforts. In conclusion, disaster awareness and sustainable management are crucial to maintaining tourist villages in the face of natural disasters and increasing business competition. This community-based research also asserts that an interdisciplinary approach and understanding the local disaster cycle are key to addressing these challenges.
