Abstract

Infectious diseases still threaten world wide. One of the most infectious is TB that is infected through Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB Prevention is carried out by BCG vaccination, while TB treatment is carried out through DOTS. The pattern of TB transmission can be identified using the SVIR model. The TB program in Indonesia is carried out to achieve TB Elimination in 2035 and Indonesia TB-free in 2050 by taking into account three indicators, namely prevalence, incidence, and mortality. This study aims to reproduce the SVIR model, analyze the model solution and interpret the results for TB programs in Indonesia. Furthermore, the transmission pattern and predictions of three TB indicators in Indonesia are determined. Moreover, parameter simulation of contact rate is applied based on Hadis Rasululloh Saw to prevent the interaction between the infectious and noninfectious individu. The SVIR model is applied in Indonesia by estimating parameters based on data for 2004-2018. The accuracy of the model is measured based on absolute relative error in 2019 and 2020. RK Order 4 Method showed the error values of less than 5%, so that the model is quite accurate in determining TB transmission and three indicators above. The projection of the three indicators and the simulation of the contact rate showed a significant decrease. However, the TB Elimination and Indonesia TB-free has not been achieved.

Abstract

Fuel is an energy requirement that is needed by society. The increase in population is directly proportional to the consumption of fossil fuels. Therefore, one way to overcome the problem of fossil energy consumption is to develop alternative renewable energy sources. Potential renewable alternative energy is plantation and industrial waste, which currently has not been utilized optimally. Coffee is one of the most important commodities in the national economy. Apart from that, coffee has fans in terms of consumption. The amount of coffee consumed is directly proportional to the increase in coffee skin waste. Coffee skin itself has a high calorific value, so it is very good if processed into briquettes. This research aims to find out how to make briquettes using coffee skin waste. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on making briquettes from coffee skins. The data collection method is carried out by observation. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using descriptive methods. The tests carried out in this research included organoleptic tests, density tests, ash content tests, and combustion rate tests. Based on the tests that have been carried out, this research has succeeded in identifying the effectiveness of coffee husk briquettes as an alternative fuel in the context of utilizing coffee husk waste.

Abstract

Central Java is the second largest rice-producing province in Indonesia. However, it is unfortunate that the rice yield cannot be maximally utilized by the province itself. This is because more rice is distributed to Jakarta than to Central Java, causing the province to experience a prolonged deficit since 2022. This problem affected the price of rice in Central Java, which experienced inflation because Central Java residents had to buy rice from Jakarta. This unequal distribution is also not in accordance with QS. Al-Hasyr (59): 7, which instructs to distribute wealth equally, so that it does not circulate among the rich only. The purpose of this research is to apply Dijkstra's Algorithm in determining the shortest route in rice distribution planning in Central Java. The data in the research used is secondary data obtained through Google Maps and Google Earth. Then, the data is compiled into a weighted graph which is processed by Dijkstra's Algorithm with the help of a program in Wolfram Mathematica software. The results obtained are the shortest route from the starting point to the cities in Central Java. The results obtained can be used as a reference by rice producers in Central Java, so that the distribution of rice in the province is more efficient both in terms of costs and routes, and more equitable.
