Abstract

The lack of integration of technology and local culture in learning causes low cultural literacy and student learning outcomes. This research aims to develop interactive multimedia exploring Balinese traditions in science and science subjects, especially the material My Indonesia is Rich in Culture for fourth grade elementary school students. This research includes development research. The ADDIE model used in this research consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research involved content/materials, design, learning media experts, and 14 students. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The media feasibility test results from expert content, design, media, individual trials and small group trials were sequentially 95,4%; 92,5%; 91,6%; 91,6%; 95% is included in the very good category. The results of the effectiveness test using the one sample t-test obtained tcount = 5.63 and ttable = 1.771 at a significance level of 5% with db = 13. These results show tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia exploring Balinese traditions is feasible and effective for use in the natural and social science subject, Culturally Rich Indonesian for class IV students.

Abstract

Self-discipline is a fundamental aspect of character development in elementary school students, as it relates to the formation of learning habits and behavioral patterns. One factor that contributes to self-discipline is self-management ability. This study aims to analyze the effect of self-management on the formation of self-discipline among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Ubung. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method using a questionnaire administered to 27 fourth-grade students as respondents. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the effect of self-management as the independent variable on self-discipline as the dependent variable. The results indicate that self-management has a significant effect on students’ self-discipline, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.254. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.638 indicates that 63.8% of the variation in students’ self-discipline can be explained by self-management ability. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-management skills to foster disciplined behavior in elementary school students.ABSTRAKDisiplin diri merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa sekolah dasar karena berkaitan dengan pembiasaan sikap dan perilaku belajar. Salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam pembentukan disiplin diri adalah kemampuan self-management. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-management terhadap pembentukan disiplin diri siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 4 Ubung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan instrumen angket yang diberikan kepada 27 siswa kelas IV sebagai responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel self-management sebagai variabel independen terhadap disiplin diri sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-management berpengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin diri siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 0,05 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,254. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,638 menunjukkan bahwa 63,8% variasi disiplin diri siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh kemampuan self-management. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kemampuan mengelola diri memiliki peran besar dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin siswa sekolah dasar.
