Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Islamic education fund management at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) in Padang Panjang City in response to government spending reduction policies. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with random sampling techniques, involving 10 respondents from four MTs. Data collection was conducted through closed-ended questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research findings indicate that the management of education funds is considered fairly effective. The planning aspect received the highest score (4.2), indicating that educational institutions are able to prepare budgets in accordance with existing priorities and needs. Financial implementation and reporting were also effective (with scores of 3.8 and 4.0, respectively), although there were some challenges such as delays in BOS funds and a lack of training for human resources. Meanwhile, stakeholder involvement was still relatively low (3.5), indicating the importance of increasing community participation in the financial decision-making process. The conclusion of this study is that the effectiveness of fund management at MTs can still be maintained despite fiscal efficiency policies, provided that the principles of transparency, accountability, and community participation are strengthened. These findings provide significant recommendations for madrasahs and the government to improve the quality of sharia-based financial management and digital technology.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the bilingual flagship program at SD IT Brilliant School Bukittinggi. The bilingual program was adopted as a strategy to enhance students’ foreign language proficiency from an early age. A responsive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and document analysis for data collection. The findings reveal that the program has a positive impact on language skill acquisition, particularly in speaking and listening. Teachers adopted active learning methods such as storytelling and role-play. However, inconsistencies in implementation across subjects were observed. Overall, both students and parents responded positively to the program, although challenges such as language anxiety and limited teaching materials were identified. The study concludes that while the bilingual program is fairly effective, improvements are still needed. These include enhanced teacher training, strengthened bilingual curriculum, and greater parental involvement. Periodic program evaluations are recommended to ensure the program’s sustainability and quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of traffic volume on road damage levels and identify the causes of deterioration along the Cor Iri–Lamreung segment in Aceh Besar District. The research also provides relevant information for planning road construction and maintenance, including determining appropriate material types for road structures. A quantitative data analysis approach was employed, using the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (PKJI) 2023 and the Bina Marga method to assess physical road conditions. The results on the Tgk. Nyak Arief road section show that the most dominant type of damage is potholes, accounting for 18.0%, while the total damage percentage (Nr) reached 59.2%. Traffic volume surveys conducted over three days (26–28 May 2025) indicate that the highest Average Daily Traffic occurred on Monday, with an average capacity of 677 pcu/hour. Motorcycle volume remained consistently high, especially in the morning. Based on the priority index, the road section obtained a value of 6, indicating that it should be included in a routine maintenance program. Overall, the combination of PKJI 2023 and Bina Marga methods provides a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between traffic volume and road deterioration. Higher traffic volumes, particularly from heavy vehicles, significantly increase damage levels. Therefore, proper traffic load management and planned maintenance programs are required to maintain road performance. These findings serve as recommendations for authorities to improve attention to construction materials and design quality to ensure road durability amid increasing traffic demand.
