Abstract

The electrical energy demand in currently era is a very vital need, the electrical energy demand is spread almost to all human life needs, so it is only right if there is a reliable energy supply, There fact are that many people's homes and also public places area or mosque and public facilities have poor electrical installations and need to repair. These also happen with the electrical facilities in the public facilities of Teluk Mata Ikan Village, Nongsa District, Batam City. The reality is that most people still do not understand about electrical installations and there are still many electrical installations that do not comply with general regulations on electrical installations, In addition, there are still many electrical installation connections made by the community themselves that do not comply with the provisions. So this time Community Service is carried out by providing counseling about the importance of reliable and safe electrical installations. and go directly to the location to show how to install it properly, correctly and safely. By holding community service (PKM), residents are expected to understand how to install electricity properly, correctly and safely. The equipment selected for installation in an electrical installation must meet applicable standards and must be in accordance with environment. The installation of equipment must comply with the provisions in PUIL standard, and suitable according to the equipment manufacturer's instructions. To increase public knowledge and understanding of the importance of electrical hazards achiefments, this activity needs to be carried out continuously.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to design and develop a house door safety device using an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensor integrated with an ATmega 328 microcontroller. The device is intended to offer an easy-to-use, affordable, and practical solution to enhance comfort and security in opening house doors without the inconvenience of carrying multiple physical keys. Methodology/approach: The development process involved integrating an RFID sensor module with an ATmega 328 microcontroller as the main control unit. When a registered RFID tag card is detected, the microcontroller processes the signal and triggers a solenoid mechanism to unlock the door. The device is powered by a primary electrical source and supported by a rechargeable battery backup to ensure continuous operation. Testing procedures were conducted to verify the device’s performance against the design specifications. Results/findings: Experimental testing showed that the device successfully detected authorized RFID tags and reliably unlocked the door using the solenoid mechanism. The backup battery system maintained functionality even during power outages, ensuring uninterrupted security. Conclutions: The proposed RFID-based house door safety device with an ATmega 328 microcontroller provides a practical, low-cost, and effective solution for residential door security. It offers improved user convenience compared to traditional key-based systems. Limitations: The system currently operates only with pre-registered RFID tags and has limited range and scalability. Further development is needed for remote access, enhanced encryption, and integration with smart home systems. Contribution: This research contributes to the field of low-cost smart home security solutions by demonstrating an effective prototype of an RFID-based door safety device, which can serve as a foundation for future advancements in intelligent access control systems.

Abstract

Unit PLTS 1 MWp Batam di Tanjung Uma sudah beroperasi selama 1 tahun sejak pasca COD (Commercial Operating Date)pada tanggal 15 Desember 2022. Selama masa operasi berjalan kurang adanya maintenance secara berkala, yang mengakibatkan penurunan efisiensi terhadap kinerja PLTS itu sendiri. Penurunan Efisiensi tersebut berdampak terhadap penyerapan energi oleh PV Module sehingga energi yang dihasilkan menurun. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengamati pengaruh iradiasi matahari, suhu permukaan dan penurunan performace ratio dari PV module string inverter 9 PLTS 1 MWp Batam. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data pada periode September sebelum dilakukan maintenance dengan membandingkan data Oktober setelah dilakukan maintenance secara berkala. Berdasarkan dari data performance ratio yang diambil pada bulan September hasil rata rata performance ratio sebesar 77% dan data performance ratio Oktober sebesar 79%. Dari penelitian ini menunujukkan hasil kenaikan performance ratiosebesar 2% diakibatkan maintenance secara berkala serta pengaruh iradiasi matahari dan suhu permukaaan.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan Energi Listrik pada era sekarang ini sudah merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat vital, Kebutuhan akan enegi listrik menyebar hampir keseluruh keperluan hidup manusia, maka sudah sepatutnya jika sangat diharapkan adanya supply atau pasokan energi yang handal, Terdapat kenyataan bahwa banyak rumah-rumah penduduk dan juga tempat ibadah (Mushola) dan tempat fasum ada ternyata memiliki instalasi listrik yang buruk dan perlu perbaikan. Tak terkecuali dengan fasilitas kelistrikan yang ada di fasum Kampung Teluk Mata Ikan Kecamatan Nongsa Kota Batam. Adanya realitas bahwa kebanyakan masyarakat masih belum mengerti tentang instalasi listrik dan masih banyak terdapat instalasi listrik yang tidak sesuai dengan peraturan umum tentang instalasi listrik, Selain itu masih banyak terdapat penyambungan-penyambungan instalasi listrik yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat sendiri yang tidak sesuai ketentuan. Maka Pengabdian masyarakat kali ini dilakukan dengan cara memberi penyuluhan tentang pentingnya Instalasi kelistrikan yang handal dan Aman. dan turun langsung melihat ke lokasi menunjukkan cara instalasi yang baik, benar dan aman. Dengan diadakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM), warga diharapkan menjadi mengerti bagaimana instalasi listrik yang baik, benar, dan aman. Peralatan yang dipilih untuk dipasang dalam instalasi listrik harus memenuhi standar yang berlaku dan harus sesuai dengan lingkungannya.Pemasangan peralatan harus mentaati ketentuan dalam PUIL, dan cocok sesuai instruksi pabrik peralatan. Agar tercapainya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya bahaya listrik maka perlu kegiatan ini dapat dilakukan secara berkesinambungan.
