Abstract

The infrared detector (or IR detector) is an optoelectronic component and represents the core element of gas analyzers, flame sensors, devices of spectral analysis, as well as non-contact temperature measurement. pyroelectric infrared detectors work with stabilization time in a wide operating temperature range (-55 ... 85) °C, capable of measuring the slightest amounts of infrared radiation (as little as a fraction of a nW) with wavelengths between 1 µm and > 25 µm. The difference of the good pyroelectric or No good (NG) devices shown by graph of voltage offset operating that can check by manual using Digital Multi Meter or semi auto by using microcontroller One of importance measuring of IRD sensors is Offset Voltage, stabilization of offset voltage indicate the sensor is stable with certain level value. Stabilization value measurement during measuring time means the average value not so much different with fluctuation value. 10 bit ADC on Atmega 328 that main microcontroller on Arduino Uno is capable to measure the Offset Voltage of IRD sensor and check the measurement values is within specification of IRD sensor.

Abstract

The development of a large city which also functions as the Capital of the Province and its residents is a symbiosis that is interrelated and influences each other. Changes, developments, and urban growth require the provision of new space, facilities and infrastructure so that as an implication there is a change and growth of buildings and their facilities and infrastructure. One of the urban space systems in Tanjungpinang that needs serious attention and arrangement is the Kota Lama area. This area is one of the tourist attractions visited by many domestic and foreign tourists and is the busiest major trading area. The Old City area is a Cultural Conservation Area, Environmental conditions around the area at this time tend to grow irregularly and sporadically in line with the rapid development of physical development in the area. It is necessary to anticipate the possibility of a decrease in environmental quality. If this is not anticipated immediately through intensive control, it is feared that there will be irregularities in the function and role of regional space in the future.

Abstract

The design of this tool is to help overcome anxiety in receiving package deliveries, so that having this tool can provide a sense of security for home owners when they are not at home when the package being sent arrives. This Dropbox package is designed with several security components including a fingerprint sensor (Finger Print ZFM-20) and Keypad. Finger Print functions to open the door of the dropbox by the home owner. Apart from that, you can also open the dropbox door by using a PIN that is entered into the keypad. The keypad function is to input the last 6 digits of the homeowner's delivery receipt number after receiving the delivery receipt number. For goods delivery couriers, if the courier wants to put a package into the dropbox, the courier must enter the 6-digit receipt on the delivery package. If the receipt number entered matches the homeowner's receipt number, then the dropbox lid can be opened so the courier can enter the package. The homeowner will receive a notification when the package has arrived via SMS. The result of testing this tool is the creation of a sensory-based intelligence system that combines several sensors to control Dropbox Package access

Abstract

The people of Kampung Karet, Nongsa District, most of them still don't understand about electrical installations, the condition of the electrical installation system in people's homes and especially places of worship (mosques) are still many that do not comply with general regulations regarding electrical installations. Apart from that, there are still many connections. -connection of electrical installations carried out by the community itself which does not comply with regulations. Community service by providing counseling and going directly to see the location that is the target of carrying out service activities, namely the Al-Ikhlas mosque. By holding community service (PKM), the residents of Rubber Village will understand how to install electricity properly, correctly and safely. The equipment selected for installation in an electrical installation must meet applicable standards and must be suitable for its environment. Installation of equipment must comply with the provisions in PUIL, and match the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Electrical installations must be regularly inspected and tested for misuse, damage or poor installation, including loose connections. To protect against leakage currents, an ELCB can be installed. In order to achieve an increase in public knowledge and understanding about the importance of electrical hazards, this activity needs to be sustainable.

Abstract

Kejadian banjir yang melanda daerah daerah yang seharusnya menjadi daerah yang tidak mungkin terjadi banjir seperti dikota kota besar seperti Kota Batam, kerap kali diakibatkan oleh sampah yang tersangkut dalam selokan. Adanya sebab sampah dalam selokan ini maka kebutuhan mesin pengangkut sampah botol dan sampah lainya didalam selokan menjadi perlu diadakan untuk mengangkat sampah dan botol yang berada di selokan. Dalam penelitian ini lebihditujukan untuk mengetahui kebutunan daya penggerak mesin tersebut dimana pemakaian mesin DC yang dipergunakan dalam mobil sebagai penggerak wiper menjadi pilihan untuk dipergunakan dan dikendalikan sebagai penggerak mesin ini. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan Perhitungan kebutuhan akan perangkat keras dan lunak dan juga perhitungaan Putaran motor DC diteruskan ke roda pengerak mesin menggunakan rantai ditinjau dan dianalisis apakah sistem pengangkat sampah dari selokan dengan mempergunakan motor wiper ini bisa diaplikasikan, dan juga analisa data terhadap kecepatan putaran mesin dan arus terpakai dalam mesin menjadi acuan dalam perhitungan pemakaian motor wiper ini. Hasil Penelitian yang diaplikasikan dalam mesin yang menggunaan slot konveyor yang an dapat di sesuaikan dari lebar 30cm hingga 60 cm dengan menggeser base roda secara manual diperoleh hasil bahwa Motor DC yang diharapkan dan di realisasikan menyerap arus kurang lebih 8,34Ampere dan mesin mampu bergerak maju atau mundur sehingga mesin dapat maju atau mundur diatas selokan yang berkecepatan 0.0704 – 0.0759 m/s dengan tingkat keberhasilan mengangkat sampah 75.94 % serta mampu mengangkut maksimal 3 sampah botol perputaran

Abstract

The electrical energy demand in currently era is a very vital need, the electrical energy demand is spread almost to all human life needs, so it is only right if there is a reliable energy supply, There fact are that many people's homes and also public places area or mosque and public facilities have poor electrical installations and need to repair. These also happen with the electrical facilities in the public facilities of Teluk Mata Ikan Village, Nongsa District, Batam City. The reality is that most people still do not understand about electrical installations and there are still many electrical installations that do not comply with general regulations on electrical installations, In addition, there are still many electrical installation connections made by the community themselves that do not comply with the provisions. So this time Community Service is carried out by providing counseling about the importance of reliable and safe electrical installations. and go directly to the location to show how to install it properly, correctly and safely. By holding community service (PKM), residents are expected to understand how to install electricity properly, correctly and safely. The equipment selected for installation in an electrical installation must meet applicable standards and must be in accordance with environment. The installation of equipment must comply with the provisions in PUIL standard, and suitable according to the equipment manufacturer's instructions. To increase public knowledge and understanding of the importance of electrical hazards achiefments, this activity needs to be carried out continuously.
