Abstract

The design of this tool is to help overcome anxiety in receiving package deliveries, so that having this tool can provide a sense of security for home owners when they are not at home when the package being sent arrives. This Dropbox package is designed with several security components including a fingerprint sensor (Finger Print ZFM-20) and Keypad. Finger Print functions to open the door of the dropbox by the home owner. Apart from that, you can also open the dropbox door by using a PIN that is entered into the keypad. The keypad function is to input the last 6 digits of the homeowner's delivery receipt number after receiving the delivery receipt number. For goods delivery couriers, if the courier wants to put a package into the dropbox, the courier must enter the 6-digit receipt on the delivery package. If the receipt number entered matches the homeowner's receipt number, then the dropbox lid can be opened so the courier can enter the package. The homeowner will receive a notification when the package has arrived via SMS. The result of testing this tool is the creation of a sensory-based intelligence system that combines several sensors to control Dropbox Package access

Abstract

The people of Kampung Karet, Nongsa District, most of them still don't understand about electrical installations, the condition of the electrical installation system in people's homes and especially places of worship (mosques) are still many that do not comply with general regulations regarding electrical installations. Apart from that, there are still many connections. -connection of electrical installations carried out by the community itself which does not comply with regulations. Community service by providing counseling and going directly to see the location that is the target of carrying out service activities, namely the Al-Ikhlas mosque. By holding community service (PKM), the residents of Rubber Village will understand how to install electricity properly, correctly and safely. The equipment selected for installation in an electrical installation must meet applicable standards and must be suitable for its environment. Installation of equipment must comply with the provisions in PUIL, and match the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Electrical installations must be regularly inspected and tested for misuse, damage or poor installation, including loose connections. To protect against leakage currents, an ELCB can be installed. In order to achieve an increase in public knowledge and understanding about the importance of electrical hazards, this activity needs to be sustainable.

Abstract

Abstract

The electrical energy demand in currently era is a very vital need, the electrical energy demand is spread almost to all human life needs, so it is only right if there is a reliable energy supply, There fact are that many people's homes and also public places area or mosque and public facilities have poor electrical installations and need to repair. These also happen with the electrical facilities in the public facilities of Teluk Mata Ikan Village, Nongsa District, Batam City. The reality is that most people still do not understand about electrical installations and there are still many electrical installations that do not comply with general regulations on electrical installations, In addition, there are still many electrical installation connections made by the community themselves that do not comply with the provisions. Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to design and develop a house door safety device using an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensor integrated with an ATmega 328 microcontroller. The device is intended to offer an easy-to-use, affordable, and practical solution to enhance comfort and security in opening house doors without the inconvenience of carrying multiple physical keys. Methodology/approach: The development process involved integrating an RFID sensor module with an ATmega 328 microcontroller as the main control unit. When a registered RFID tag card is detected, the microcontroller processes the signal and triggers a solenoid mechanism to unlock the door. The device is powered by a primary electrical source and supported by a rechargeable battery backup to ensure continuous operation. Testing procedures were conducted to verify the device’s performance against the design specifications. Results/findings: Experimental testing showed that the device successfully detected authorized RFID tags and reliably unlocked the door using the solenoid mechanism. The backup battery system maintained functionality even during power outages, ensuring uninterrupted security. Conclutions: The proposed RFID-based house door safety device with an ATmega 328 microcontroller provides a practical, low-cost, and effective solution for residential door security. It offers improved user convenience compared to traditional key-based systems. Limitations: The system currently operates only with pre-registered RFID tags and has limited range and scalability. Further development is needed for remote access, enhanced encryption, and integration with smart home systems. Contribution: This research contributes to the field of low-cost smart home security solutions by demonstrating an effective prototype of an RFID-based door safety device, which can serve as a foundation for future advancements in intelligent access control systems.

Abstract

Purpose: The design of this flood telemetry control system aims to determine the water level in the drainage and provide warnings of potential flooding to the public with direct notifications to applications running on Android smartphones and to reduce the impact of flooding, a flood detection system tool was built using sensors that connected to a microcontroller that will detect the water level. Methodology: The design of this tool uses 3 (three) sources of information that are installed separately far apart, namely locations A, B, and C connected via the internet network and provide information in the form of monitoring, direct warnings to applications installed on Android Smart Phones. Result: The results of testing this tool work well. And can find out the water level when the rainy season arrives in the environment around the residence from a distance. This tool provides notifications with a delay of about ± 1000ms or 1 second at the smartphone internet access speed to the teleduino webserver or vice versa ± 142ms.
