Abstract

This article discusses the modernization of Islamic thought as a response to the increasingly complex challenges of radicalism and secularism in the contemporary era. Modernization in Islamic thought aims to align religious principles with the dynamics of developments in the era without sacrificing the core values of Islam. On the one hand, radicalism emerges as a movement that rejects all forms of change and modernity, often using the pretext of religion to legitimize violence and intolerance. On the other hand, secularism offers an approach that separates religion from public life, thus potentially reducing the role of spirituality in the social order. Through literature analysis and case studies in several Muslim countries, this article explores the strategy of modernizing Islamic thought that can be a middle ground between the two extremes. The results of the study indicate that the modernization of Islamic thought must be based on a deep understanding of classical texts, accompanied by contextualization according to the social and cultural needs of today's society. In addition, collaboration between Muslim intellectuals and traditional scholars plays an important role in spreading a moderate, inclusive, and relevant understanding of Islam. In conclusion, the modernization of Islamic thought can be an effective solution in bridging the need to adapt to global change without ignoring the essence of Islamic teachings, while at the same time countering the threats of radicalism and secularism. This research contributes to the development of moderate Islamic discourse that is appropriate to the modern socio-political context.

Abstract

The post-Islamization transformation of the Kaili tribe in Central Sulawesi led to significant changes in traditional rituals, especially Pompoura and Disaster Prevention, originally based on animism. This study explores the tribe's adaptation to Islamic influences while balancing the preservation of ancestral traditions and the tension it caused with traditional elders. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the research involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results indicate that these rituals have been reinterpreted to align with Islamic teachings while maintaining social elements that reinforce community solidarity. This study provides practical contributions to religious leaders and traditional figures in managing cultural change, offering solutions that balance religious values and local traditions. Future research directions could explore other communities to broaden the scope and delve deeper into similar cultural resistance dynamics, focusing on cultural and religious negotiations to create innovative solutions that balance tradition and modernity.

Abstract

Berlatar belakang pada realita permasalahan yang ada di MTs Muhammadiyah Tolitoli menuntut perlu adanya Peranan Kepala Madrasah Sebagai Suprvisor Dalam Meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, karena Peningkatan profesionalitas guru sudah sewajarnya dilakukan, tidak hanya oleh pemerintah, tapi dari diri guru itu sendiri juga harus punya kemauan keras untuk bisa lebih profesional sehingga tujuan pendidikan nasional dapat tercapai. Guru professional tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai bidang ilmu, bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, motivasi peserta didik, memiliki keterampilan yang tinggi dan wawasan yang luas terhadap dunia pendidikan. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari bimbingan seorang supervisor. Supervisi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membentuk serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Supervisi dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan profesional para guru, agar guru mampu melaksanakan proses belajar megajar yang dilakukannya di kelas dengan baik, selain itu seorang guru juga mampu berperan sebagai pendidik yang profesional dalam mengerjakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dalam membimbing dan mengajar, menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman, dan komunikasi yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan implikasinya terhadap kinerja guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Tolitoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : pertama, implementasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, meliputi : a) Perencanaan supervisi akademik terdiri dari empat aspek yang dipersiapkan oleh kepala sekolah yaitu: (1) menetapkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai, (2) fokus pada sasaran yang ingin ditingkatkan, (3) menyusun strategi supervisi akademik, meliputi : (a) perlengkapan sarpras pendukung kegiatan supervisi akademik, (b) menetapkan guru yang akan disupervisi, (c) prosedur/strategi pelaksanaan supervisi akademik, dan (d) menginformasikan perencanaan program supervisi kepada guru, dan (4) menyusun jadwal supervisi akademik. Keempat aspek tersebut dimuat dalam dokumen perencanaan supervisi. b) Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik meliputi: (1) monitoring pelaksanaan pembelajaran; (2) Guru saling mengamati saat pembelajaran, méndiskusikan hasilnya dan saling memberikan masukan (umpan balik); (3) Pemahaman peningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran; (4) Pengembangkan pengetahuan dan penerapan metode dan media pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. c) Tindak lanjut supervisi akademik yaitu: (1) Memberikan masukan dan pembinaan, (2) Meminta guru untuk memperbaiki perencanaan (3) Mengikutkan dalam pelatihan. kedua, implikasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru adalah membantu guru mengidentifikasi kelemahan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam perencanaan, membantu guru dalam mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran sehingga supervisi akademik yang efektif berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan supervisi akademik yang efektif membantu guru dalam mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang This study aims to describe the implementation of the principal's academic supervision and its implications for teacher performance at Tolitoli State Madrasah Aliyah. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques using interactive techniques. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of the study show that: first, the implementation of the school principal's academic supervision to improve teacher performance, includes: a) Planning for academic supervision consists of four aspects prepared by the school principal, namely: (1) setting goals to be achieved, (2) focusing on targets to be improved, (3) develop strategies for academic supervision, including: (a) equipment for supporting infrastructure for academic supervision activities, (b) determine teachers to be supervised, (c) procedures/strategies for implementing academic supervision, and (d) inform program planning supervising teachers, and (4) arranging academic supervision schedules. These four aspects are included in the supervision planning document. b) Implementation of academic supervision includes: (1) monitoring the implementation of learning; (2) Teachers observe each other during learning, discuss the results and give each other input (feedback); (3) Understanding improves the quality of learning; (4) Development of knowledge and application of learning methods and media by utilizing technology. c) Follow-up academic supervision, namely: (1) Providing input and coaching, (2) Asking teachers to improve planning (3) Participating in training. second, the implication of the principal's academic supervision to improve teacher performance is to help teachers identify weaknesses in lesson planning so as to improve teacher performance in planning, assist teachers in developing a better understanding of the implementation of learning so that effective academic supervision plays an important role in improving teacher performance in implementation of learning, and effective academic supervision assist teachers in developing a better understanding of the evaluation of learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang implementasi pembelajaran humanistik dan mengetahui implikasinya terhadap akhlak peserta didik di SDIT Ibnul Mubarok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran humanistik di SDIT Ibnul Mubarok diterapkan melalui berbagai kegiatan dimana peserta didik di SDIT Ibnul Mubarok selalu melaksanakan sholat berjamaah di sekolah tanpa diperintah oleh guru, sekolah melaksanakan kegiatan workshop yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan untuk mengadopsi kurikulum pembelajaran humanistik, dan SDIT Ibnul Mubarok juga menyelenggarakan kajian-kajian yang dilaksanakan di Ta'lim dengan para ustadz sebagai penceramah. Implikasi dari pembelajaran humanistik di SDIT Ibnul Mubarok terlihat pada akhlak peserta didik, yaitu: (a) terbentuknya kepribadian yang lebih baik yaitu menerapkan adab-adab seorang muslim, (b) sikap peserta didik di SDIT Ibnul Mubarok menunjukkan akhlak sopan santun, kepada guru, dan orang tua, serta teman-temannya, (c) SDIT Ibnul Mubarok menunjukkan teladan kedisiplinan kepada peserta didik, yaitu dengan selalu memulai proses pembelajaran dan kegiatan apapun sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. This research aims to examine the implementation of humanistic learning and determine its implications for the morals of students at SDIT Ibnul Mubarok. The results of the research show that the implementation of humanistic learning at SDIT Ibnul Mubarok is implemented through various activities where students at SDIT Ibnul Mubarok always carry out congregational prayers at school without being ordered by the teacher, the school carries out workshop activities organized by the Education Office to adopt a humanistic learning curriculum, and SDIT Ibnul Mubarok also organized studies which were carried out at Ta'lim with ustadz as lecturers. The implications of humanistic learning at SDIT Ibnul Mubarok can be seen in the students' morals, namely: (a) the formation of a better personality, namely applying Muslim etiquette, (b) the attitude of students at SDIT Ibnul Mubarok shows good manners, towards teachers, and parents and friends, (c) SDIT Ibnul Mubarok shows an example of discipline to students, namely by always starting the learning process and any activities according to the predetermined schedule.

Abstract

Penelitian yang bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Palu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa sedangkan obyek penelitian adalah kompetensi guru SD Muhammadiyah 2 Palu. Penelitian survei dimaksudkan untuk memperoleh gambaran umum mengenai kompetensi guru. Untuk menjelaskan variabel-variabel penelitian tersebut dilakukan dengan tingkat eksplanasi deskriptif dan korelatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama (H0) ditolak dengan temuan perolehan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,050. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi guru memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian hipotesis kedua (H0) ditolak dengan temuan perolehan nilai signifikansi 0,016 < 0,050. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi guru memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. The research aims to (1) determine the influence of teacher competency on student learning motivation and the influence of teacher competency on student learning achievement at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Palu. This research is survey research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students, while the research objects were the competence of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Palu. Survey research is intended to obtain a general picture of teacher competence. To explain the variables, the research was carried out at descriptive and correlative levels of explanation. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of testing the first hypothesis (H0) were rejected with the finding of a significance value of 0.000 < 0.050. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that teacher competence has a significant influence on student learning motivation. Furthermore, the results of testing the second hypothesis (H0) were rejected with the finding of a significance value of 0.016 < 0.050. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that teacher competence has a significant influence on student learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Biro Palu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana di SD Negeri Biro Palu telah memenuhi standar minimal nasional pendidikan di Indonesia. Tindakan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana di SDN Biro Palu melalui pelaksanaan fungsi manajemen, (2) Implikasi dari peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan sarana dan prasarana adalah dengan mengajukan Dana Alokasi Khusus ( DAK) untuk meningkatkan kualitas fasilitas. dan prasarana pendidikan di SDN Biro Palu dan penggunaan dana tersebut untuk: (a) pemasangan wall paper pada dinding kantor, (b) penambahan daya internet, (c) pemasangan CCTV, (d) penyediaan pojok baca di setiap kelas, ( e) mengaktifkan kembali komite sekolah (f) pembangunan gerbang baru, (g) Guru dapat lembur hingga sore hari untuk menyelesaikan tugasnya karena sudah mempunyai gerbang baru. This qualitative research aims to describe the role of the principal in managing facilities and infrastructure at the Bureau Palu State Elementary School. The results of the research show that (1) The principal's management in improving facilities and infrastructure at the Bureau Palu State Elementary School has met the minimum national education standards in Indonesia. The actions taken by the principal in the management of facilities and infrastructure at the Palu Bureau Public Elementary School through the implementation of management functions, (2) The implication of the principal's leadership role in improving facilities and infrastructure is to apply for Special Allocation Funds (DAK) to improve the quality of the facilities. and educational infrastructure at the Bureau Palu Public Elementary School and use these funds for: (a) installing wall paper on office walls, (b) adding internet power, (c) installing CCTV, (d) providing reading corners in each class, (e) reactivate the school committee (f) construction of a new gate, (g) Teachers can stay overtime until the afternoon to complete their assignments because they already have a new gate.
