Abstract

In Indonesia, corn is one of the important agricultural commodities that is strategic in the future as a carbohydrate substitute for rice in food diversification efforts, so it is not surprising that corn is also a commodity chosen by the government to support the national food security program in 2023. Corn is one of the most important cereal crops in Indonesia. Apart from being a staple food crop to replace rice, corn also has the benefits of almost the entire tree, starting from the leaves for animal feed and compost. The corn fruit consists of the cob, kernels and cob, all three of which have economic benefits. Corn cob has long been used as raw material for feed, compost and the cigarette industry. As a food ingredient, corn kernels have nutritional content, namely Calories, Protein, Fat, Carbohydrates, Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin B1. Other benefits of corn can reduce hypertension so that it can prevent heart disease. The heart can control diabetes, improve digestion, prevent constipation and hemorrhoids because corn is rich in fiber, and can even reduce the risk of colon cancer. Phosphorus is good for bone health, this nutrient not only prevents bones from cracking due to age, but also improves kidney function.( Director General of Food Crops Kemen RI, Feb 15, 2020) . This is all just up to the various benefits of corn and there are many more that we can learn and benefit from the fruit of the seed.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the implications of carrying out Babinsa's role in early detection activities to prevent terrorism for regional resilience in Sukoharjo Regency based on public perceptions. The research was conducted in the Kodim 0726/Sukoharjo area. The results showed that (1) Babinsa's role as a Regional Command Unit figure in Sukoharjo Regency was able to encourage Village/Kelurahan government officials and all elements of society by carrying out Territorial Development according to the Danramil's instructions. (2) Implications of implementing Babinsa's role in early detection activities to prevent terrorism for regional resilience of Sukoharjo Regency based on public perception (a) Ideological Aspect, expected to be an effort to prevent the spread of Radicalism and Terrorism in order to maintain regional ideological resilience (b) Political Aspect, expected be an effort to increase regional political resilience so as to prevent the occurrence of majority dictators and minority tyranny (c) Economic Aspect, a sense of community security that can be created by officers so that economic activities will continue to grow and develop well in the Sukoharjo region (d) Socio-Cultural Aspects, early detection activities in order to prevent terrorism against the resilience of the Sukoharjo Regency region to prevent threats to inter-religious harmony in Sukoharjo (e) Defense and Security Aspects, in several areas Babinsa has not received full support from the community, the proof is that in overcoming security disturbances Babinsa moves alone without any community support.

Abstract

Development in border areas and outer islands is very significant, considering that the border area, has considerable natural resource potential, is a very strategic area for the defence of state security and can be used as a security fortress at the front door of the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, but in reality the development of border areas. especially the Tanimbar Islands Regency, which can be implemented by the government and the Army in increasing regional resilience so that border areas and outer islands in the 1507 / Saumlaki Kodim area. can become the ‘front porch’ of the Republic of Indonesia. This paper uses a qualitative descriptive method, with a literature approach. To analyse existing data in building a strategy concept using the SWOT Analysis Method. Strategies that can be carried out to build the resilience of border areas include the preparation of RT / RW that reach the border areas of the country, improving the quality of human resources, building facilities and infrastructure, bringing the title of Army units closer to the border area and empowering border security posts to assist local governments in improving community welfare.
