Abstract

ndonesia is a country that has the potential to be heavily affected by disasters. These disasters are caused by natural and non-natural factors. The number of victims and losses due to disasters requires a response for all communities. This study aims to describe the form of disaster management in Indonesian books at the junior high school level. The data source for this research is Indonesian class VII books published by the Center for Books and Curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2021. The data in this study are words, sentences, paragraphs, and discourses in Class VII Indonesian Books related to forms of disaster management. Data collection techniques used listening, analysis, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions elaborated with relevant theories. The results of the analysis show that out of the six chapters, there are four chapters of disaster management materials in Indonesian class VII books. The material includes elements of disaster consisting of prevention (mitigation), preparation (preparedness), response (response), and repair (recovery). These materials are displayed in the form of readings and practice questions scattered in descriptive texts, explanations, news, stories, and letters.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the results of writing developing a saga into a short story for class X SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, (2) factors that become obstacles to writing to develop a saga into a short story for class X SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, and (3) a solution to overcome writing obstacles to develop a saga into a short story for class X SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques use interview and documentation techniques. Data validity using source triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis technique. The results of this research show that: (1) The results of writing short stories from 39 students obtained the highest student score of 91, the lowest score of 75, with an average student score of 83. Assessment of several assessment aspects, namely theme, grammar, punctuation and neatness of writing, character/characterization, plot, and mandate. Based on the assessment aspect, 209 data were found and the most errors occurred in the grammatical aspect. Uniquely, no errors were found in the plot and message aspects so that students were able to create the plot and message in the story. (2) factors that become obstacles in students' writing are lack of writing practice, lack of feedback on student assignments, students when writing stories pay less attention to their writing, lack of understanding regarding the material, the Indonesian language learning methods used by teachers are less varied, lack of ideas from students in developing the storyline, lack of understanding of the contents of the saga, and lack of time to complete assignments. (3) solutions to overcome student obstacles, namely increasing the frequency of writing practice, applying feedback techniques to assignments appropriately, providing examples of good and correct use of Indonesian in learning, providing additional discussions outside of learning, using more varied learning methods, increasing frequency of reading and exploration, and providing additional hours related to writing assignments.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a national strategic issue that must be continuously guarded. Religious moderation is vital for all levels of society to create harmony in religion and as a nation. This study aims to describe the results of discourse analysis on the form of religious moderation in Friday sermon material at Islamic universities in Surakarta. The data of this research are words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and discourse in Friday sermon materials at universities in Surakarta. Data collection techniques using record, read, and record techniques. The data analysis technique uses the arithmetic technique. The study results show that the form of religious moderation in Friday sermon material at Islamic universities in Surakarta is divided into the scope and indicators of religious moderation. The scope of religious moderation includes moderation among fellow Muslims, moderation between religions, and moderation within the state. Indicators of religious moderation include national commitment, tolerance, non-violence, and radicalism. Based on the study results, it was concluded that Friday sermon material is a strategic and influential medium in increasing understanding of religious moderation. Moderasi beragama merupakan isu strategis nasional yang harus terus dikawal. Moderasi beragama sangat penting bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat untuk menciptakan kerukunan beragama dan berbangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk moderasi beragama pada materi khotbah Jumat di perguruan tinggi Islam di Surakarta. Data penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, dan wacana dalam materi khotbah Jumat di tiga Perguruan Tinggi Islam di Surakarta, yaitu UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, dan Universitas Nahdhatul Ulama Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik rekam, baca, dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk moderasi beragama pada materi khotbah Jumat di perguruan tinggi Islam di Surakarta terbagi dalam ruang lingkup dan indikator moderasi beragama. Ruang lingkup moderasi beragama meliputi moderasi antar sesama muslim, moderasi antarumat beragama, dan moderasi dalam bernegara. Sementara itu, indikator moderasi beragama meliputi komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, antikekerasan dan radikalisme. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa materi khotbah Jumat merupakan media yang strategis dan berpengaruh dalam penguatan moderasi beragama.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the types of emotive meanings found in replies to @PesonaIndonesia's TikTok comments. This research uses qualitative research methods. The data source from this research is a response to admin comments on the tiktok account @PesonaIndonesia. The resulting data comes from replies to admin comments on the @PesonaIndonesia tiktok account which contains emotive meaning. After analysis, there were 104 data indicating emotive meanings which were divided into three types, including 22 data indicating high emotive meanings, 46 data indicating friendly emotive meanings, 36 data indicating harsh emotive meanings. The meaning of high emotive consists of the emotive wisdom, emotion, surprise, annoyance, cunning. The meaning of friendly emotive consists of fun, happy, proud, joyful and pitiful. The meaning of rough emotive consists of indifference, emotion, frustration, surprise and annoyance. The implications of the results of this research for learning Indonesian through Reply to admin comments @PesonaIndonesia are suitable for use as a learning medium for students which is useful for increasing knowledge and insight in the field of language. Apart from that, it is also a literacy medium in analyzing the meaning of words and sentences. Words or sentences that express various kinds of emotional expressions and forms can be used as lessons for students who want to know how to explain a meaning. The aim of this research is to describe the meaning of emotives contained in replies to @pesonaindonesia's TikTok comments. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation and documentation. Next, for data analysis techniques, use reading, listening and note-taking techniques, then use documentation by capturing screenshots of replies to admin comments that contain high emotive meaning, friendly emotive meaning and harsh emotive meaning. After analysis, there were 104 data showing emotive meanings which were divided into three types, including 22 data showing high emotive meanings, 46 data showing friendly emotive meanings, 36 data showing harsh emotive meanings. The meaning of high emotive consists of the emotive wise, emotional, surprised, irritated, cunning. The meaning of friendly emotive consists of fun, happy, proud, joyful and pitiful.
