Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of differentiated learning at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar and describe the obstacles of teachers in implementing this differentiated learning process at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar. This research uses qualitative with descriptive research type. The source of this research is the 5th grade teacher at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar. Data collection was done through interviews, observation, and document review. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the implementation of differentiated learning in grade 5 SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar was carried out based on the principles of differentiated learning including: 1) learning environment, namely seeing how the student's classroom environment, 2) continuous assessment, namely measuring the extent of student readiness in learning, 3) responsive learning, namely how teachers can understand various kinds of student characters and student deficiencies in learning, and 4) class routines, namely how the results of student learning with the leadership of the class teacher, which have been carried out well. The conclusion of this research is that differentiated learning focuses on students so it is feasible to implement in a modified curriculum. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine 1) the description of the needs of first-grade students of YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar Elementary School regarding mastery of illustrated letter character stories. 2) prototype of illustrated letter character stories in letter recognition. 3) validity and practicality of illustrated letter character stories. This research is a development using the research stages of Borg & Gall. The data collection technique used is by interviewing and filling out questionnaires. The research method on the development of letter character story media is carried out using the "Research and Development" approach. The results of the study show that 1) Description of the needs of first-grade students of YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar Elementary School regarding mastery of illustrated letter character stories. 2) The prototype that will be developed in the form of a pdf file with A4 paper size with 26 pages and 17 sheets. 3) The validity and practicality of the illustrated letter character story are declared valid and practical to be used in the Indonesian language subject of letter recognition for grade I students of SD YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar, based on an acceptability test that includes usability, feasibility, and accuracy. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) gambaran kebutuhan siswa kelas I SD YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar terhadap penguasaan cerita tokoh huruf bergambar. 2) prototipe cerita tokoh huruf bergambar dalam pengenalan huruf. 3) validitas dan kepraktisan cerita tokoh huruf bergambar. Penelitian ini adalah pengembangandengan menggunakan tahapan penelitian dari Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah dengan wawancara dan pengisian angket. Metode penelitian tentang pengembangan media cerita tokoh huruf dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan “Penelitian dan Pengembangan” (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Gambaran kebutuhan siswa kelas I SD YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar terhadap penguasaan cerita tokoh huruf bergambar. 2) Prorotipe yang akan di kembangkan dalam bentuk file pdf dengan ukuran kertas A4 dengan 26 halaman dan 17 lembar. 3) Validitas dan kepraktisan cerita tokoh huruf bergambar dinyatakan valid dan praktis yang akan digunakan dalam mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia pengenalan huruf bagi siswa kelas I SD YPK 10 Imanuel Kebar, berdasarkan uji akseptabilitas yang telah meliputi kegunaan, kelayakan dan ketepatan. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Huruf Bergambar, dan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.
