Abstract

Introduction: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) continues to be one of the most prevalent health conditions globally. Treatment strategies for COPD are often tailored to disease severity, beginning with single therapy and advancing to dual or triple therapy as needed. However, limited randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have explored the comparative impact of dual and triple inhaler therapies on clinical outcomes and exacerbation frequencies. Our meta-analysis aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of triple and double medication in moderate and severe COPD patients.    Material and Methods: A comprehensive exploration of databases was conducted to identify RCTs comparing triple and dual inhaler therapies. For binary outcomes, the pooled RR or OR was calculated; we also used weighted MD to analyze continuous outcomes, both with high CI (95%).    Results: The meta-analysis included four RCTs involving 13,574 patients, of whom 67.92% were male. Triple inhaler therapy proves lung function improvements significantly, evidenced by an increase in FEV1 (MD: 0.06; 95% CI: 0.01–0.11; p=0.02). It showed significant association with a exacerbations reduction in both moderate and severe one (RR: 0.76; 95% CI: 0.72–0.81; p<0.000001). No notable differences in adverse events were observed between combination of triple and double medication (OR: 0.99; 95% CI: 0.90–1.10; p=0.85).    Conclusion: Triple inhaler medication proves more effective than double medication in moderate and severe COPD patients, enhancing lung function and lowering exacerbation rates without a significant increase in adverse effects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan budaya 5R terhadap peningkatan etos kerja siswa SMK. Metode yang digunakan adalah Sistematic Literatur Review (SLR), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi konsep 5R dan etos kerja siswa dalam konteks pendidikan vokasi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan budaya 5R dapat meningkatkan etos kerja siswa melalui penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, peningkatan motivasi, dan pembentukan disiplin diri. Faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi 5R meliputi komitmen pimpinan, partisipasi aktif siswa, sosialisasi yang efektif, evaluasi yang berkelanjutan, dan dukungan fasilitas. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan seperti kurangnya kesadaran siswa dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan budaya 5R merupakan upaya yang efektif dalam meningkatkan etos kerja serta kualitas lulusan SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang efektivitas Moodle dalam mendukung pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Systematic Literature Review (SLR) untuk mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi data dari berbagai jurnal yang relevan untuk mengetahui dampak Moodle terhadap proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Moodle sebagai LMS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa mengintegrasikan Moodle dengan metode pembelajaran tatap muka diperlukan untuk menciptakan interaksi sosial yang efektif. Hasil ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi praktisi pendidikan dan pengambil kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pemahaman kita tentang bagaimana LMS, dan Moodle khususnya, dapat digunakan untuk mendukung kebutuhan pendidikan pada Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

One of the local souvenirs from Jambi is accessories made from the seed bark of the sebalik sumpah tree. The sebalik sumpah tree is currently quite rare. Through DNA isolation, sebalik sumpah is one of the efforts of genetic conservation and as a first step in cultivating sebalik sumpah trees. DNA isolation is the initial stage in molecular analysis. The purpose of DNA isolation is to obtain genomic DNA from a sample. Plant DNA isolation generally uses fresh plant samples, with young and soft plant parts. This is recommended to obtain good quality genomic DNA. However, with the limitations of fresh samples, a method is needed that is able to extract DNA from plants that have changed shape and have undergone processing. Each plant requires a different method to obtain DNA. The CTAB (Cethyl Trimethyl Ammonium Bromide) buffer method is a method commonly used in plants because it is able to extract DNA with high polysaccharide and phenol content, so many have modified the method. This study aims to determine the success of the CTAB method without nitrogen in extracting processed materials and the length of incubation time at the precipitation stage. Extraction was carried out by liquid nitrogenless CTAB method with the addition of PVP (Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone). The results show that the CTAB method without liquid nitrogen is able to extract plant samples that have undergone processing and the length of incubation time at the precipitation stage affects the DNA produced.
