Abstract

Literacy and numeracy programs play a crucial role in improving education quality, especially at the elementary school level. This study aims to optimize literacy and numeracy programs through a structured mentoring approach at SDN Grujugan Larangan, Larangan Luar Village, Larangan Subdistrict, Pamekasan Regency. The research method used is action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The qualitative approach is used to understand teachers' and students' perceptions of the mentoring program, while the quantitative approach is applied to measure the improvement in students' literacy and numeracy skills after participating in the program. The results indicate that structured mentoring significantly enhances students' literacy and numeracy skills, as evidenced by the increased average scores in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Furthermore, active teacher involvement in the mentoring process contributes to the program's success. Thus, implementing a structured mentoring program can be an effective model to improve the quality of primary education in rural areas.

Abstract

In today's increasingly competitive retail environment, Customer Interface Quality (CIQ) plays a vital role in shaping consumer satisfaction and fostering loyalty. This study focuses on the retail setting of Basmalah Store in Pamekasan Regency, aiming to investigate the influence of CIQ on consumer satisfaction and its subsequent impact on consumer loyalty. The research addresses the problem of how digital and physical interface elements affect consumer perceptions and behavior in retail service encounters. The objective is to identify whether enhancing CIQ can significantly improve customer satisfaction and lead to stronger loyalty. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method, targeting a sample of 100 consumers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected from individuals who had shopping experiences at Basmalah Store during a defined period. The analysis reveals that CIQ has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, which in turn significantly contributes to consumer loyalty. The synthesis of findings suggests that improving customer interface elements—such as ease of use, responsiveness, and visual appeal—can foster higher levels of satisfaction, encouraging consumers to remain loyal to the brand. This study concludes that retail businesses should strategically invest in optimizing customer interface features to strengthen customer relationships and sustain long-term business performance.

Abstract

The dynamic development of Indonesia's industrial sector has prompted companies to focus on enhancing employee performance through effective leadership strategies. One of the leadership styles widely implemented in organizations is transactional leadership, which emphasizes clear structures, rewards, and supervision. However, its influence on innovative work behavior and employee performance in the context of manufacturing remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the influence of transactional leadership on innovative work behavior and examine how this behavior subsequently affects employee performance at PT. Konveksi Jaya, a garment manufacturing company in Pamekasan. A quantitative approach was applied through a structured survey method, involving 80 employees selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires and analyzed using regression analysis to determine the strength and significance of the relationships among variables. The results reveal that transactional leadership positively influences innovative work behavior, and in turn, this innovative behavior significantly contributes to improved employee performance. The synthesis of these findings suggests that fostering a transactional leadership style that actively supports innovation can enhance overall employee effectiveness. The study concludes that while transactional leadership is often associated with routine performance, its role in promoting innovation is equally crucial, especially when appropriately aligned with employee needs and organizational goals. These insights are valuable for organizational leaders aiming to balance structure and innovation to drive sustainable employee performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Green Ambidexterity Innovation (GAI), Strategic Stakeholder Alliance (SSA), and Green Human Resource Management Practices (GHRMP) on Sustainable Green Competitive Advantage (SGCA) and Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pamekasan, Indonesia. With increasing global competition and the need for environmentally sustainable practices, SMEs face the challenge of balancing innovation, stakeholder collaboration, and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed-method approach, this research employs both quantitative surveys of 100 SME managers and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. Quantitative data analysis is conducted through WarpPLS 7.0, focusing on both the inner and outer models of the relationships among variables. Findings indicate that Green HRM Practices significantly positively impact SGCA, while Green Ambidexterity Innovation and Strategic Stakeholder Alliances demonstrate weaker or insignificant effects on SGCA. Moreover, SGCA does not significantly influence SBP. These results suggest that while Green HRM Practices can enhance competitive advantage, a more nuanced approach may be required for SMEs to fully leverage innovation and stakeholder collaboration for long-term sustainable business performance. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on green strategies in SMEs, offering practical recommendations for business leaders to integrate sustainability into their operational strategies. The study aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 8, 9, 12, and 13, aiming for responsible production and climate action.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Transglobal Leadership Intelligence (TGLI) on Sustainable Tourism Competitiveness, focusing on its influence through three mediating variables: Innovative Work Behavior (IWB), Work Engagement (WE), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Conducted in Pamekasan, this research aims to explore how TGLI can enhance the competitiveness of sustainable tourism by fostering innovation, employee engagement, and organizational citizenship within small and medium-sized tourism enterprises (SMEs). A quantitative approach, employing surveys from 190 tourism SME managers in Pamekasan, was used to gather data, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study examines the relationships between TGLI and the targeted outcomes to provide a deeper understanding of the mechanisms driving sustainable tourism competitiveness in the context of globalization and organizational innovation. The results indicate that while TGLI positively influences IWB and OCB, it does not significantly affect Sustainable Tourism Competitiveness. Moreover, IWB, WE, and OCB did not show significant direct effects on tourism competitiveness, suggesting that external factors like government policies and resource management play a more dominant role. This research offers valuable insights for tourism SMEs and policymakers, emphasizing the importance of global leadership capabilities and internal organizational dynamics in enhancing sustainable tourism.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Green Servant Leadership (GSL) on the Sustainable Business Performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on its influence through two mediating variables: Green Work Engagement (GWE) and Green Self-Efficacy (GSE). Conducted in Pamekasan, Indonesia, the research seeks to examine how Green Servant Leadership can promote organizational sustainability by fostering employee engagement in environmentally friendly practices and enhancing individual self-efficacy in performing green behaviors. A quantitative approach, using surveys from 199 SME managers in Pamekasan, was employed to collect data, which was analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using WarpPLS software. This study investigates the relationships between GSL, GWE, GSE, Employees' Workplace Green Behavior (EWGB), and Sustainable Business Performance to provide insights into how leadership and employee engagement can drive sustainable business practices in SMEs. The findings reveal that Green Servant Leadership positively influences Green Work Engagement and Employees' Workplace Green Behavior but does not significantly impact Green Self-Efficacy or Sustainable Business Performance. The research highlights the complex interplay between leadership styles, employee engagement, and environmental behaviors, offering valuable guidance for SME leaders aiming to integrate sustainability into their business strategies.
