Abstract

Lareh Sago Halaban Regency, precisely in Nagari Halaban, is one of the areas with the highest pineapple production in Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra Province. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of knowledge, experience and motivation on the productivity of Pineapple Farmers in Nagari Halaban simultaneously and partially. The data collection method in this research was to use saturated sampling or census where the entire population, namely 30 pineapple farmers, were sampled using interviews and questionnaires. Data was obtained through a questionnaire and analyzed using the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression. Statistical analysis shows that the relationship between the independent and dependent variables is quite strong (R = 76.9%). Adjusted R Square is 54.5% of the variation in the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, while the remaining 45.5% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this research. Based on the F test, the independent variables (knowledge, experience and motivation) have a significant effect on the dependent variable (farmer productivity). The F test shows that overall the independent variables have a significant effect on farmer productivity. The results of the t test state that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on farmer productivity.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran word of mouth, kualitas pelayanan, gaya hidup, citra merek dan inovasi produk terhadap preferensi konsumen dalam membeli Kopi Sw Express. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif untuk mendukung validitas hasil dengan maksud memahami pola hubungan sebab-akibat dari setiap variabel yang diteliti. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus lemeshow, sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 100 responden konsumen Kopi SW Express. Teknik pengambilan sample menggunakan pendekatan Non Probability Sampling dengan metode pengambilan sample yaitu Purposive Sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda yang diproses dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 30. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tiga faktor utama yaitu word of mouth, kualitas pelayanan, serta citra merek berperan signifikan serta berdampak positif terhadap keputusan pembelian oleh konsumen. Pengaruh word of mouth terjadi karena informasi yang disampaikan biasanya berasal dari orang-orang terdekat seperti teman atau keluarga, sehingga lebih dipercaya dan dianggap objektif dibandingkan iklan. Kepercayaan inilah yang mendorong konsumen untuk mempertimbangkan dan akhirnya memutuskan pembelian. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh karena pelayanan yang baik menciptakan pengalaman positif bagi konsumen, yang membuat mereka merasa dihargai dan puas, sehingga mendorong loyalitas serta keputusan untuk membeli kembali. Citra merek memengaruhi karena merek yang memiliki reputasi baik memberikan kesan kepercayaan, profesionalisme, dan nilai tambah di mata konsumen, sehingga meningkatkan keyakinan mereka untuk memilih produk tersebut.

Abstract

The pakcoy plant (Brassica rapa L) is an agricultural crop that is relatively short-lived and can be harvested in a short time. The high use of chemical fertilizers that have the potential to damage the soil is the main problem underlying this research because of this, it is important to find fertilizers that are not only effective but also environmentally friendly. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of gamal leaf liquid organic fertilizer and 50% NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) plants. The method used was Group Random Design with 3 treatments of 100% inorganic fertilizer, 150 ml of POC + 50% NPK gamal leaves, 170ml POC of gamal leaves + 50% NPK, repeated for 9 replications. Observations observed included leaf count, leaf width, leaf length, wet weight, crown weight, root weight, and root length. Based on the results of the study, significant results were obtained in the observation of leaf length (cm) and root length (cm), while insignificant results were obtained in the observation of the number of leaves (strands), leaf width (cm), fresh weight (g), crown weight (g), and root weight (g). This study showed that the application of gamal leaves and NPK liquid organic fertilizer in combination gave results that were not significantly different from the application of pure NPK fertilizer in the observation of leaf count, leaf width, fresh weight, crown weight, and root weight, but showed significant differences in leaf length and width. The results of this research can be used as a reference to improve soil conditions and support sustainable agriculture that is environmentally friendly. Abstract

Papaya has significant business potential because demand continues to increase every year. The quality and quantity of papaya harvest really depends on quality seeds. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effect of various manures as papaya breeding media and analyze the feasibility of this business. This research was conducted at the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in March-May 2023 using a Completely Randomized Environmental Design. Treatment involves the use of chicken, cow and goat manure. The population used was 432 seeds with 3 treatments, each repeated 9 times, so there were 27 plots with 4 polybags per plot. Growth data were analyzed using the Anova test and the 5% DMRT test. Meanwhile, business analysis includes calculating total revenue, income, sales BEP, product BEP, price BEP, and R/C Ratio value. The research results showed that the use of various manures had a significant impact on plant growth, including plant height, leaf length and width, pH of the planting medium, and root length. However, there was no significant effect on leaf number. Business analysis revealed that treatment with Top soil, chicken manure, and husk charcoal gave optimal results with total revenue of IDR 680,000.00, income IDR 422,436.25, sales BEP IDR 126,028.96, product BEP of 31.68 polybags , the BEP price is IDR 1,515.08/polybag, and the R/C Ratio value is 2.64.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to identify the trend of beef production in West Sumatera, (2) to identify beef consumption in West Sumatera, and (3) to estimating of beef production and consumption in West Sumatera. This study uses secondary data from Badan Pusat Statistik of West Sumatera and Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan of West Sumatera. Secondary data were processed with qualitative analysis techniques in a narrative manner to determine the trend of beef production and consumption from 2004 to 2023 and quantitatively to determine the estimated production and consumption of beef in West Sumatera in 2024-2028. The result of the study is the trend of beef production in West Sumatera in the last 20 years is 928,798 kg/ year or grows by 5,1%. The trend of beef consumption in West Sumatera in the last 20 years was 329,874/ year or grew by 4,2%. Estimated beef production in West Sumatera experienced a growth of 2,2% or 547,648 kg/ year, the estimated production can meet the estimated consumption which grew by 1,9% or 329,874 kg/ year.
